The price, the user experience, the lack of multibrand use. When I threatened to take my business elsewhere we had one call with the VP but then he stopped responding to calls and emails.
Was quite easy to understand for novice and navigate around and had easy to use and useful automated marketing features that made reaching a large audience seamlessly easy.
It felt like they were just as fed up with this crap tool as we are. Although they didn't say it, I think one of our key employees quit over the frustration of dealing with marketing cloud.
We use salesforce daily to engage with customers on a daily basis. It has been very helpful in managing customer journeys, sending and preparing emails, and getting good reporting.
Not all pending sends will list themselves under "Pending Sends," so that has caused some issues with accidentally sending the same email to the same list more than once.
It had a good native integration with Litmus. I liked the reporting feature that visually showed where users where clicking in an email.
The customer service and sales team was probably the worst I've seen from an enterprise product. Even though it's owned by Salesforce, it isn't as well integrated as Marketo.
Its very user friendly when you need to build assets with less time. I think those who have a more B2C business marketing model will find this more beneficial with the 1:1 ratio for personalization.
Further, the e-newsletters don't cooperate with Outlook, which is frustrating since both are Microsoft products.
Salesforce offers a big eco-system with lots of functionalities and a good customer overview.
Also opening a ticket with customer support is a pain, especially if you don't have a Salesforce login (I've tried both with and without.).
You are able to view and respond to emails from all of your coworkers which helps with workload management.

The major problem is the lack of ability to copy an email to more than the recipient. The lack of this feature is putting the continued use of this product in doubt.

I've a problem to pay for my upgrade plan due to an currency problem. The website automatically converts the price to my local currency.

Here are a few cons which shouldn’t be ignored. Reporting of Analytics of Marketo is very bad and in addiction smart list designs are not flexible and it is very difficult to design them.
Its almost intelligent interaction with prospects allows our team great confidence in engaging and in capturing quality leads.
With customization that is available, it is possible to get a bit lost in the hugeness that is Marketo. Lastly, there are no customizable reporting options which can make things hard.
Marketo customer support team is very responsive and always available to help, this is something I like the most. Marketo's simple and easy user interface is amazing and very easy to use.
Not much return on investment here; very basic functionality, and problems with our website getting clocked as spam form our target cusotmers.
Marketo engage is a perfect tool for automation marketing. It’s also a great handling emails and marketing materials.
The look and feel of it is also stuck in the 90s. They don't provide any decent templates so my team is often forced to look elsewhere and then integrate email and landing page templates with Marketo.

New feature functionality is questionable in the 2015-2018 vintage (pre-adobe) - eg Sky doesn't work as one example.

Unless you have a consultant or take classes, it can be diffcult to learn. The community can be hard to navigate, and I think it takes too long to wait for responses.

Blaming Segment for failure to merge anonymous events with identified users, blaming Segment for integration failures that caused significant loss of data. Awful limitations of workflows.
I like that it's incredibly easy to use. As opposed to a software like salesforce thats much less user friendly, iterable is super simple, but still lots of features.
Our engineers get a bit frustrated about some of the technical limitations.
Amazing customer support that's very responsive, knowledgeable and always eager to help. Iterable is very receptive to user feedback, and is constantly improving and building the too.
Problems with adding new users to lists and with clients that are less digital-savy to navigate the backend on their own.
I really like Iterable and I think they're on to a winner, it does feel like they're still in early stages as not everything feels completely ironed out.
The only issue I've had is with load times with list segmentation here and there- but nowhere near the level of frustration I've had with other legacy systems.

A good amount of details and marketing capabilities. HubSpot has some of the best integrations I have seen with other platforms.
I am disappointed with the number of panel limits you can have with the contracted plan. The other disadvantage is that UX can be tricky at times.
HubSpot helps track, monitor and create the best content for growing my business. I have seen great strides from using this company.

You can build incredibly amazing customer relationship with the most popular and favorite Zoho CRM Software. You can convert extra leads and you can easily increase your revenue.
The workflow piece is awful and not intuitive at all. Where all other platforms use actual workflows, Zoho is stuck in the 18th century in its interface.
I like the most about the collaborative easy to use tools with any type of function like customer service, marketing and creating automated responses which are very helpful.
Really clunky, looks terrible (in terms of UI), and generally a bad CRM tool. I guess you get what you pay for.
ZOHO CRM is very easy to use, particularly, it offers you the ability to customize its features to fit business goals. It has a great user-friendly interface and easy to navigate.
It was a mistake and I immediately corrected myself by ignoring Zoho apps. Though I wasted 2 months learning the modules.
It is easy to use, it works perfectly fine and integrates easily with other software so it is a complete solution for the business.

I've had a very positive experience. The help desk was able to respond to some of my questions pretty quickly, I like the functionality and my emails look good.
I have had instances where the emails sometimes end up in the spam folder or promotions folder, which can be annoying and needs to be figured out.

Mailchimp is used by many which means that spam filters are more likely to tag your emails as spam. I did not have any other problems with Mailchimp.

For a company that's been around as long as Mailchimp has, it's crazy to me how bad the UX/UI is. It's just hard to use so much of the time.
The greatest benefit to using this program is the integration possibilities. It is compatible with a lot of the other software/programs we use so integration was seamless and saved time & money.

They were very responsive and did a great job helping me figure out the best way to use the software. The Event tool was nice and make event management through the list easy to do.
Given the circumstances of the pandemic and not using the services to even log in during the last year, that was inconsiderate and unacceptable.

Their billing platform is absolutely ridiculous. They bill your clients directly, and not the agency using the platform saying that the client is the end user, not the agency managing the account.
This allows us to better understand and track our users and help determined the best platforms to promote our campaigns.
We are now remarketing to leads that were missed during the initial buying cycle and reclaiming that lost revenue on top of increasing our close rate on new clients.
I love all the metrics it provides me which helps me cater my newsletter and make adjustments as needed. This is so important so I can actually alter my content for my audience.
The only con I can think of is the lack of display/functionality options in the form and landing page builder.

Availability of robust marketing capabilities is what I like most about BigMarker. Virtual events enhancement is another great aspect.
I have never been able to run a webinar with no inconvenients, today was the limit, I lost the work to put in a webinar 150 attendants. A lot fo money wasted because of lack of realiability.
Beside all the great functions and the excellent user experiences I really like the fast and competent support you get from Big Marker.
Also last time I was presenting at home, with another person presenting from the office. I realized when viewing the video that when my connection dropped, the webinar stalled.
I love Bigmarker's flexibility and ease of use. I also love how helpful support is when I have issues.
If it weren't for the microphone problem I probably wouldn't be looking elsewhere.
They integrations are great, and I know they are working to improve the software all the time. Thank you for this great solution.
Some attendees told me that they couldn't hear me. One video injection was delayed.

The interface is clean and easy to use. On first impressions it looked like the re-brand from InfusionSoft was a move good to keep things more simple.
When you leave it idle, rather than timing out gracefully, you lose any unsaved info. I know that's more of a "my workflow, why the hell aren't you saving your work" issue, but it's still annoying.
I love this product, it is the best when you get advanced marketing experience and a big mail list, you can really do magic with it with the advanced action based segmentation.
Sick and tired of paying money for something no one can make function and do what I need.
I had some great help with getting everything set up and I find the email automation system quite easy to use and understand, which is great as it has gotten me to do a lot more with automation.
Infusionsoft refuses to make simple fixes. Terrible for business to business.
Technical support for the most part has been great, they are very patient and friendly.
The system is horribly confusing so much so that their own people have no idea what they are doing. They don't test or check their own work.
It is a good tool for marketing campaigns and generating insights. Their CRM tool is also good and a have the required functionalities.
As someone in business for 10+ yrs, this is a terrible experience.
I like how easy it is to use. I like that you can change the dashboard and main screen to show only the information you want to see.
Poor integrations, could not load the data on an ongoing basis as we wanted to.
It especially great for startups (my case), since the price point is very reasonable and the customer service is exceptionally helpful. I would reccomend it to other colleagues 100.

Campaign Monitor is an excellent email automation tool that is user-friendly and easy to use. It has an intuitive interface, great customer support, and comprehensive analytics.
We disliked that the platform seemed to be split between different names. Sometimes the login would redirect us to another website which was a bit weird.
Although testing on the likes of litmus is great, Campaign monitor gives the ability to test emails EXACTLY. This has been excellent for development and my learning about email code.
Some parts of the UI are cumbersome and feel stuck in another internet era. Some services can be very pricey if you don't have a subscription.
The ease of use, depth of reporting, and helpful support team. I like the ability to change and alter the campaign up until the last minute, even if delivery has been scheduled.
Some features and configurations can be a bit hard to figure out without a fairly technical background. Email builder templates felt a bit restrictive in terms of styling and formatting options.

Plus, not being able to marry together the email insights into our customer actions/deals/leads was a big hindrance.

Campaign Monitor recently bought Conversio Emails. The price is very competitive for all the things it offers.
Dashboards and analytics are all intuitive and easy to use. Automation journeys are easy to build and update.
We've had the same code running for years and have never run into issues. The API is very stable and after 5 years we haven't had any issues, no breaking changes or anything related to it.

It is a great tool for email marketing filled with the required features like analyses and reports, segmentation, automation, etc. It is very nice looking and easy to navigate.
I cancelled my subscription and after a month they activated without my consense and charged of 95.
What i like most about this tool is that it provides me with the best email marketing services and great features for building my email lists effectively.
After numerous communication with the company, we found out they moved us to a "bad" server/IP address which triggered the recipient inbox spam filters.
GetResponse is my favorite EMS by far. The software is fairly easy to use and for what you can't figure out they have tons of options and outstanding customer service to learn and get trained.
When we asked for them to refund our payment due to our inability to use their system they refused, citing terms and conditions.
I am very much happy with the functionality if someone reworks the usability part, it will be one of the best products.

Once I learned the software, ConvertKit became a pleasure to use. The feedback we got from our subscribers was fantastic.
It gets really frustrating trying to troubleshoot all of the scenarios and errors that can happen. Overly complex to deal with.
Great experience overall. My sales are better because I can be super specific with who I'm emailing, based on their interests (links they've clicked, courses they're already enrolled in, etc.).

I've repeated myself over the course of 5 days now and still can't get anyone to understand the issue. Let alone apologize for a mistake that looks like a glitch in their system.

Excellent, their customer service provides just that. They are knowledgeable and very responsive.
To be told that you have to recreate a portion of a Journey from memory because someone accidentally deleted part of it during a Journey review can be quite frustrating.
The price is excellent and I love the heads up feature. This feature alone has increased conversions considerably for me. I like that Autopilot is easy to integrate and like the journey builder.
The only knock on the product is the inability to filter out your synchronization with Pipedrive based on custom fields or some other value.
Customer service is incredible, so I feel like any issues or objectives I want to hit are fully supported by the team. I hope this only improves as they grow and doesn't become watered down.
This was a real frustration, and I ended up just disconnecting Autopilot from the CRM in order to finish my test.
Their journey creator is flawless and even a non-techinical person can use it with ease. The have very robust APIs and you can confirgure autopilot pretty easily with their APIs.
It's hard to have the actions start based on interactions with a website or product / CRM. This may have changed though.

The only knock on the product is the inability to filter out your synchronization with Pipedrive based on custom fields or some other value.
Customer service is incredible, so I feel like any issues or objectives I want to hit are fully supported by the team. I hope this only improves as they grow and doesn't become watered down.
This was a real frustration, and I ended up just disconnecting Autopilot from the CRM in order to finish my test.

Once they are subscribed, the ease of creating a text is amazing. The tools that mobile text alerts have for LuLaRoe retailers is great.
My con is not a defect in the software, it is user error and not having the computer knowledge of those who grew up learning the how to's of navigating.
These guys have been great. I love their platform and their customer service is amazing.
I hate that there was a limit on how many text you can send out at once. Unless you pay for the big package.
The customer service is absolutely wonderful; I would highly recommend it to others. The product itself has done a great job of serving our needs.
The price breakdowns I found confusing at first.
It's easy to use and it's extremely helpful for our staff. I think this was one of the BEST investments we have made.
So it can automatically detect spams. Which is also a security threats.

There are some weird CSS features that they include (like a randomly named css class for each individual form) that can make duplication difficult.
It run the campaigns very effectively and the performance is at par with the high paid applications in the market. It offers various integration support and plugin supports.
The program can generate more than one API code which made it confusing at one point, but we sorted it out.
What I like the most is that OptinMonster is easy to use on every website you own. It works both on Wordpress websites and any other website you own.

We needed to build up our mailing list size and OptinMonster was effective and easy to integrate with Shopify.

The support is terrible. Known issues are not proactively reported which caused us to inaccurately tag and email thousands of contacts in the summer of 2021 (unacceptable).
If a competitively-priced SaaS product does a job quickly and produces great results, it's a great solution. That's exactly what NeverBounce is for my agency.
The tool incorrectly reports some spam emails as valid.
Easy to navigate and understand. Helped me convince my bosses that we needed to clean the list and it was worth what we spent on it.
Since we are paying to identify email address valid or not why I am getting more unverified or uncertain email address.

Unfortunately, there are quite a few leads who may put in wrong email addresses or phone numbers, which is time lost for the agents during qualification.
Good application for business as it is easy to use and user friendly interface and booking and making appointments are easy.
Currently the issue was that the messages were sent too early and customers couldn't finish their sentences. Problem has been fixed though.

Liked the logic flow when first using the product. The flexibility and the updates over the years have been nice.
