We choose Push Press and pleased with the decision more and more as we use their current key features and see the work the team puts in to serve Gym owners and their clients by constant improvements to the software platform.

Pros

Dashboard - quick view of the most important information as a gym owner and coaches on a daily basis. Class schedule, At-Risk Member, Leads Report, and check-ins / class reservations.

Cons

Sign-up Form Customizations - would love to see customizable forms for fitness challenges and other event sign ups that link into lead management process.

Customizable sign up forms is a huge product enhancement we'd love to tackle. We do integrate with Google Forms and such via Zapier for now - but we absolutely recognize the need to be able to build in app questionnaires and forms!

Pros

Lots of features outside of client billing (revenue tracking / check in tracking / etc) 3.

Cons

Honestly, nothing that hasn't really been fixed as soon as they've been notified of it.

Pros

I love the ability to publish our workouts and class check ins to tv's using the Amazon Fire Stick.

Cons

Also, the ability to track PR's and performance in the Push Press Member Portal App

Does what I need it to do

I was looking for a software that: -integrated with our existing website -that had a user facing place to check in for class -that the users entered/updated card info without me having to touch it -that had class scheduling included -could integrate with a variety of banks/payment systems for us to get our money

Cons

Sometimes the scheduling feature can be a bit clunky and repetitive to do.

Overall, PushPress makes running a gym significantly easier. Automated memberships alone are worth the time saved to run memberships.

Pros

-automation -customer service -cyber security This software allows for quick charges on items, event setup, attendance tracking, and member communication among other things.

Cons

-membership cancellations -could use a point of sale device -cost per transaction Memberships cancelling is tough to navigate at times. It would be convenient to have a device for sales similar to the Square System. Personally looking forward to a less expensive option for transactions.

Makes Running Our Box Super-Easy

Overall it's taken a huge stress and burden off my mind because I don't have to stress and worry about managing members, memberships, scheduling classes, managing class check-ins, retail sales, etc.

Pros

It includes EVERYTHING we need to be able to manage our members, class times, coaches, retail sales, and everything in between.

Cons

There are some elements I wish it had - applying a credit to a member's account and punchcards with retail sales.

We are doing our damndest to automate and keep track of purchases, billings, schedule, client information, etc in one place.

Pros

I love how user-friendly the software is, the customer service is, how clear the team was during our trial and how helpful they've been on issues big and small.

Cons

There are longer roll-out times for some intuitive things me (or more likely my clients) recommend which surprise me, but it could be a function of how our gym is uniquely set up.

I am particularly impressed with how responsive they are to customer suggestions.

Pros

I am able to see attendance history for my athletes, and even receive a heads-up when someone has been away from the gym for a while.

Cons

The navigation can be a little clunky. On occasion I find that I need to download a CSS file of my data to be able to find the exact info I'm looking for.

I've been able to remove myself from most of the day-to-day admin, since members can self-manage most of their issues through the apps. This has freed up hours from my day to devote to growing the business.

Pros

These apps make it easy for members to self manage scheduling, checking in to classes, and purchase.

Amazing App with great features

I love that I can use 1 app to manage my clients, classes, invoicing, sales and also appointments it makes things a lot easier then having to use multiple apps.

Pros

I love the features available with the application, the ability to not only manage members but also their invoicing, payments, ability to self serve as well as the add on features such as check in app, sales app and the class screens app.

Cons

Most of the time the team has been great to work on them and resolve only a couple outstanding items but I wouldn't completely blame Pushpress, part of it is integration with Google calendar.

Awesome product, a few bugs

Overall, the software is great and does everything we need it to do. The support staff is amazingly helpful and friendly. If I could change one thing, it would be giving businesses control over the emailing to its members.

Pros

The apps and additional features are simple enough that we started taking advantage of them soon after we set up our membership billing side of things.

Cons

I'm not a fan of the auto-emailing and how we don't have control over what goes to who and when. Especially during migration (but even after), members get tons of unnecessary emails and it's pretty obnoxious. We've also run into other miscellaneous bugs and they often take awhile to hunt down and fix. Seems like the software is very popular and with all of the new apps being tested, issues don't get resolved for several days, maybe even weeks. Maybe just a shortage of manpower?

We agree with you about the emails - when we started we thought "less is more" and felt it was one less thing an owner had to spend time configuring. We still believe setting up all the emails is a lot of burden on an owner, but we've identified a better way to do this.

It's on the project board, and will be done soon, but we have some really big works in progress now that have to be completed as a prerequisite to this.

From our early days of just using it to collect membership fees to now when we are far more involved with its capabilities, the customer service and integrations have bee phenomenal.

Pros

We utilize it for events, product sales, besides the overall membership management!

Cons

Early on, it didn’t have as many integrations as it does now.

The experience has been great overall. As with all systems, they're not perfect, but they're the system I chose (over 4 others), and I happily recommend them to newer gym owners that I mentor.

Pros

The ability to create landing pages, assign personal training to coaches, and the ease of creating plans/products. Also it just LOOKS beautiful.

Cons

Clients cannot buy/schedule personal training options on their own; customer service sometimes takes days to respond (although quality answers are almost always eventually reached); reports are not customize-able at all (although they're updating that as we speak)

I don't like that I cannot pause memberships for a set duration so that the membership starts billing automatically after the end date.

The guys/gals behind the scenes really love what they do so they are more than helpful to help you help your clients. I couldn't have asked for a better support system or cheer team.

Pros

This is such an awesome product to manage clients. You can create tons of plans, keep track of attendance, sell products/merchandise and easily keep track of it all.

Cons

I don't like the way it says "edit" at the bottom of the "edit" page. I wish it would say "save changes?" or something to that effect.
