My Review

I use it for daily chores, and we utilize it every day to keep track of our tasks and ensure that we call, email, and SMS each lead. Depending on the lead state, we have multiple flows.

Helpful for Support Desk Management

It's overall a good software that integrates well with SFDC and gmail but is let down by small, but incredibly frustrating things.  It is slow, it is very easy to delete your work and the most unforgivable thing it has just done to me is sent a flow out with the text in different sizes; I'd typed the email up within Groove itself, it's not like I'd copied and pasted in, it's embarrassing and not what you want a sales email to look like.  The tracking features, and the fact it gives insight into all email reads is great, just let down by everything else.  Spend some money and sorting out the pain points and then you have a good software but right now it's not finished.

My experience with groove has been positive overall. Their sales team was not very pushy and they have been very proactive in ensuring our company adopts  the program. Price point was 5/10.

I am able to scale my prospecting through gmail, with it logging everything into Salesforce. You can set up your prospecting flow with calls, email, LinkedIn interactions, etc. They keep up to date on the latest prospecting methods and give you the ability to automatically log it in Salesforce. ALSO, the calendar feature allows prospects to access my google calendar by clicking the Book a Meeting link in my signature. I love it.  

Shake your Groove thang, yeah yeah

Groove has made it extremely easy for our entire sales team to create manageable cadences and keep up with their leads. It is very easy to pickup for beginners but has enough depth that it is useful for experiences users as well.

Groove is a great tool for a variety of different reasons.  The calendar feature for "Schedule a meeting with me" is amazing alone.  The ability to schedule outgoing emails is also clutch.  Great experience with the tool and with support staff when looking for extended functionality and capabilities.

Groove has made it easier to email students from my web browsers instead of their Salesforce page,  allows students to put time on my calendar via online, which is a little less intimidating and allows them to have control over their schedule. For students, who I need to keep more accountable I can see when and how many times they opened it.

                                                       In the past we've used different Salesforce plugins, even products designed by Salesforce itself. But what we're trying to solve for is creating a very automated flow for our account executives, for our sales people, to be able to push different opportunities, different leads through the pipeline. Not all of what the salesperson has to do is manual. We want to be able to put together certain emails with scripts laid out in them that can go at a regular cadence. And also even if it is going to be an actual phone call that's being made, having the script built into the flow like Groove allows you to do just makes it so intuitive, makes it so that the account executive can focus on closing and executing in those moments when they need to and letting the automation work for them.
                                                       The reason why we chose Groove is because it does integrate so effectively with Salesforce, the way those two systems work together and the level of automation that you can do with Groove. There are still some elements where the account executive is going to need to interact with the customer directly and Groove is helpful as an outline for the conversation that needs to happen. But otherwise, so much of it is automated so that we can keep pushing those leads through the pipeline regardless if there's direct account executive contact with those.
                                                       Getting started with Groove is relatively easy. Their customer success organization is great with training. Implementation in terms of actually plugging in with your Salesforce account is easy. Honestly, different companies may differ, but I would imagine that a company should be able to get going with Groove in three to four weeks.
                                                       The big piece of advice for those looking to implement Groove is one mistake we made is originally we would build out the outline. We would do everything in Groove directly, in terms of structuring out that flow and it's not very efficient. You can't think about it really effectively as you're building it in Groove. Instead, I'll go into a Word doc and I'll put together the different steps, email here, text, text, phone call, text, email, the different stages and the different language, whether it be an automated email or it's a script that the account executive is going to be reading as they're going through the phone conversation with the customer. But if I'm doing that in Word, it's so much easier to build that out and see all the different steps and understand it, and then later putting that into Groove instead of the other way around.
