With Outreach, we're solving the tedious work of outbounding by equipping SDRs with the powerful tools to mass scale their outreach efforts. Previously this work was done in spreadsheets with manual emails and just Salesforce as the CRM tracker for contacts. With Outreach, emails are automated, prospect statuses are automatically updated. We've saved significant time with Outreach. There is a steep learning curve because the tool has various nuances that require training.

Outreach is my favorite sales tool

Outreach has been fantastic but adoption has been the biggest issue we faced. If adoption is done well it will absolutely lead to better conversions of leads and revenue.

The Outreach onboarding is rather extensive, and if you're a hands-on A type I don't necessarily think you'll get much out of the onboarding. I found doing it side by side a written article was my favorite approach to learning.

Best Sales software I have ever encountered 

I really enjoyed the software, what a great product.  My first salesman was amazing, but as they scaled, we became a small account to them and really got treated like it.  Stay away if you are looking for a great vendor experience, but if you are looking for a great product with great automation tools and email sequences... Outreach was the best we could find.

Terrible customer service.  Great product. 

Their sales team was bad and initially we didnt sign up, then after trailing another and also being frustrated with that one, we made a stupid decision to just go with Outreach, forced to buy their video onboarding, their support takes forever to answer and most answers are incorrect, when their software crashes they have a robotic response that their team gives which is reboot, they will tell that over and over, when in reality their app fails because of mismatching data on the import that they can't handle correctly.  They put me on a call with an Advanced Success Manager after I complained and she was so new, she knew nothing and wasted my time for 15 minutes,  It got so bad I had to get involved and it was obvious that they weren't going to be a good fit for us and they admitted however, I asked if we could jsut part ways friends, cancel our agreement, they refuse to let us out of a $26,000 contract.  KNOWING we won't use it and knowing that their team said its not a good fit.

Super in depth way to prospect

This was a very effective tool for email marketing and customer outreach campaigns, well-suited for selling on the mid-market segment and above. It can be integrated with Salesforce which is essential.

Outreach is core to my outbound sales process. I also use the calendaring feature to have people book time on my calendar. 

Outreach is great if used with integrations

Too complicated to be truly effective

Overall the platform is great for everyday use and, considering I spend most of my day in there, it's no hassle.Reporting is ok to monitor team performance without going into too much depth.

Good engagement platform

It helps save me so much time as it allows me to have more consistent and strategic follow up and to have those followups take place in the background while I get other work done. The email tracking and seeing opens/clicks is amazing and one of the most useful features. I know who is reading my emails, who just isn't responding, and who is ignoring me. I love Outreach, and if a few annoying things could get fixed I'd give it a 10/10.

Great product minus a few quirks

I love outreach since it makes it easier to send client emails and I could set it and forget it once I had them all configured and I loved that it synced with Salesforce.

Brittney:                                              Hi, I'm Brittney. I work as a Software Development Representative at a SAS company, and I give Outreach, a four out of five. Yesware didn't work for us. It was kind of difficult to navigate when we were building out our sequences, and we had a lot of trouble trying to get in touch with their customer success team in terms of troubleshooting our issues with it when we were building it. So we decided to go in a different direction just because of the user-friendly. It wasn't as user-friendly as we wanted it to be for the other SDRs on the team.
                                                       We chose Outreach, we realized that a lot of folks within our industry were using Outreach as one of their tools. So we decided to keep up with the Jones's and use that because it was the most popular within our industry. The second reason we went with Outreach is because of how user-friendly it is, it was super easy for us to onboard. They have a really good customer success team. So anytime any issues came up, we were easily able to get them resolved.
                                                       The onboarding was pretty easy. It was seamless, it was self-directed as well. So we didn't necessarily have to get everyone in the room at the same time. And it works really great with Salesforce, which was important. We had recently gotten Salesforce as getting a new CRM is a big lift. So it was extremely important that those two talk nicely to each other and they really did, so it made the onboarding and the implementation pretty seamless.
                                                       If you are a software company considering Outreach, I really recommend that you consider how important it is for your team to be onboarded. Outreach's customer success is awesome. They have a bunch of tutorials and they do different webinars. So if you're worried about adaptation from the rest of your team, I would really recommend checking out outreach just because of all of the support that they give. The second reason, one of the recommendations I would give when you consider Outreach is how user-friendly and intuitive you want the platform to be. Within a week, I had a really high comfort level with Outreach, and it was super important, because I was able to hit the ground running and I didn't have as many kinks in my process because of how easy it was to navigate.

Made our SDRs way more productive

                                                       So previous to using Outreach, we were working with platforms like Groove, which did the job when we were a smaller company, but sometimes the user experience was a bit clunky.
                                                       We chose Outreach for a variety of reasons. First of all, I was very impressed by the way the team approached the exploration process with us. Showing us the functionality that they had and the possibilities that Outreach would give us in terms of creating sequences, being able to see metrics on our sellers performance, and also how it was available natively within Gmail, which was important to us.
                                                       Outreach was really easy for us to integrate with our existing stack. So Salesforce, HubSpot. It was very easy, partly because we've got lots of help at the beginning. So we had a designated implementation specialist who was really helpful. He was available all times of day, at that kind of critical point where we migrated from one platform to another. And that made it easier in terms of setting up the mapping, understanding which settings in terms of governance would make sense for a company of our size and how we should have different roles and responsibilities according to the different roles within the company.
                                                       So I would say with any migration of software, it's always a little bit tricky, but I think it went as smoothly as it could and I wouldn't say we lost too much productivity with the STRs in terms of moving all of that messaging across to Outreach.
                                                       To anybody considering what sales engagement platform they should be using, I think the most important thing is connectivity. In this new age of digital selling that we're in, there are so many different tools that we can be using, whether that's actually call recording software, like Gong or Refract, or whether it's prospecting information platforms like ZoomInfo, Lusher.
                                                       At the end of the day, you want your SDRs to be productive. You don't want them to spend the day switching between different tabs on Chrome and having 40 times open on their browser. You want them to be in one tool and for them to be able to maximize the time on the phones, on video calls, sending emails to clients and engaging with their content on platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter, whatever it might be.
                                                       So connectivity really matters, particularly if you're going to keep on starting to use more digital tools. And that was something that impressed me from the outside with Outreach and I think it's made us ... have made a good decision in terms of using the platform.
