Embedded Analytics helps in creating dynamic and reliable reports its Self- service simplicity is a great pro.
Certain features can be improved for advanced analytics and it can be hard working with dates in Qlik Sense.

A very useful software with fast usage and simple interface. It provides fast access by taking large data into memory.
The analysis side is missing. Compared to MS Power BI, it remains incomplete.

Qlik Sense makes it easy to display company and department metrics easily in one place.
Great tool to manipulate data. Easy, Boolean lines can be written to get calculations for metrics. Much easier to manipulate raw data compared to Excel.
Does not have all the functionality for visual display. Would be nice to have more control over color scheme in a easier format.

I can easily handle big sources of data and deeply analyze them with small efforts.
It's intuitive and dynamic, I can load the data from many different inputs and analyze with the large set of tools that QlikSense has. It can also handle huge amount of data with ease, and this is a big plus compared to other solutions.
It sometimes lacks some features that are available in QlikView, which is probably more complete. It also has some graphics issues (not bugs), for example lined charts shows missing data with a straight line instead of empty lines.

Flexibility in bringing data in, customizing chart colors/themes, easy click-to-navigate features, and breadth of chart types. ONLINE COMMUNITY IS FANTASTIC.
Lack of documentation on custom extension (less a Qlik thing and more of a specific developer thing), and not a totally customizable chart group (in terms of colors, themes, etc)

The use case for Qlik sense in our project was to sync up customer and customer booking related data for a travel domain website to identify the user traffic and the favorite destinations and hot spots for booking so we can advertise specific products on our website.
Qlik sense is one of the top tools for data visualization and analysis. The ability to integrate data from different sources to provide rich options of graphing the data and drill down analysis of tables. It provides easy customization and easy reporting for the data.
The no Linux supports causes compatibility problems some times. Qlik sense is not the best solution one would use for a real-time dashboard. It may require outside assistance for advanced usage.

Faster and better reporting than ever.
I appreciate the visuals. When we're dealing with large amounts of data, visual aids are key. It is a great tool to use for presentations to customers, we can just drag and drop any field as we speak and show the results immediately. The solution runs great and has never fail to us even being Cloud based. Seamless integration with our Oracle DB.
The support is not great, but it is an easy-to-use solution so that was never a real concern.

I see there's a lot of potential and I'm sure the product will get much better with future versions
Being able to associate field instead of doing joins is a huge advantage to this product. It also handles large amounts of data very well
It's billed as a drag and drop product but you need to be pretty good at scripting to do some basic things

It's pretty amazing what can be done using a web browser to develop dashboards.
Not enough granular control over presentation, such as bold fonts.

Qlik Sense was very good for introducing performance reporting across a large workforce, with varying degrees of responsibilities & therefore access levels. Good for having automated reporting and moving away from complex report builds & production.
Integration with business processes was good, and deployment was relatively easy. Ability to produce some nice looking reports for the workforce to help manage performance.
Expressions and the expression builder are not the best for creating more complex calculations and metrics

I have used Qlik products already 10 years. At the beginning QlikView and now their new product QlikSense as well. When QlikView was revolutionary in the past then now the QlikSense is quite the same situation. Product have intuitive user interface and allows powerful data insights even not too experienced business user. Doing the visualizations in QlikSense is easier than even in Excel.
Easy to use. Personal Edition is free - it's good for evaluating and testing product for different areas (even for personal needs like getting overview about physical activities or personal finance etc.)
Some powerful functions are missing comparing with QlikView but fortunately the product develops so quickly that I'm not worrying about that quite much :-).

Able to generate ad-hoc dashboards is a great feature. Shiny visualizations are perfect.
Ad-hoc dashboarding is a great feature that Qliksense provides. The platform gives us flexibilty to mix ETL process and dashboarding process. There are lots of shiny charts which they look beautiful. Our users loves these kind of dashboards.
Sometimes publishing and using generated dashboard becomes hard because of management interface, this needs to be improved .Publishing dashboards can be annoying.

With Qlik Sense we are removing the need to compile, review and create visual represwntations of datasets. This is a massive reduction of time spent by our teams.
The ability to customise data sets and visuals to process large amounts of data in a way that users can quickly pull up results, trends and overall reporting stats visually.
Not fully supported by all internet browsers. Sometimes it doesn't load fully or filters don't apply properly, and not easy to fix for our internal technical team.

Visual appearance (e.g. compared to Power BI - it's much more appealing)
Your possibilities and "custom" settings of visuals are limited and much worse (e.g. comparing to Power BI). You can do only a few pre-defined appearance/behavior changes to your visuals (unless you want to JavaScript your own extensions..)

After having used Qlik View for about 4 years now we are looking forward to the new possibilities that the Qlik Sense Server brings to us. With Qlik View we could take our first steps in real data analysis and we are now ready to start over with Qlik Sense very soon which will make our analysis much more interactive and collaborative.
Qlik Sense has some really nice new visualizations that we do not have in Qlik View. It further brings us the possibility to have a real self service BI environment. Qlik has a very fast product development so that we are sure that we can grow further with Qlik Sense.
If there are any cons there is no doubt that Qlik will do anything to elimnate them as quickly as possible.

Qlik Sense is a very good option for organized and structured data. The support and suggestions Qlik Sense provides in creating dashboards and reports are really insightful and helpful. On an overall level, it is a very good application.
Qlik sense is a very easy-to-set-up application. Its ability to support collaboration in creating dashboards is very useful. Reports take very little time to refresh and load. It is very supportive in creating complex dashboards. The biggest positive for Qlik Sense is the suggestions.
The visualizations are good but they can be improved. Access to different types of databases.

If you are looking to push self service report creation capabilities down to the front lines, Sense is worth a look. Not everything that is possible in Qlikview can be done in Qlik Sense. This is a different tool, not a replacement with few limitations.
The product it's really easy to use and powerful. One of the best tools available today for self-service BI. Ease of use Self Service Capabilities
Integration with other tools Governance & Security Frequent releases and needs some stability of the functionality

The product it's really easy to use and powerful. It has a lot of data connection provider (also twitter, facebook and so on), and the setup it's quick and easy.
REally nothing. the software is great. just some little bug in the earlier version, in the console management for the server version, but nothing of really important. With this great software You have fast analysis, great interactive dashboards and also cool maps. It's also cool Qlik Branch, where we've found a lot of cool extensions to use in our dashboards.

If selecting a consultant, take your time to thoroughly evaluate what they each have to offer.
This product eliminates the mind-numbing work that I used to do in order to generate some of my reporting. It leads to faster response times and opens many of our workers up to being able to work on higher priority reports.
Implementing Qlik does require some coding knowledge. If you are not a coder, a consultant will likely need to be hired which results in high costs.

Export PDF and pptx is awful.
I do really approve the Speed of building dashboards that will allow users an easy double check of results.
Extraction data process is one of the lowest process in QlikSense. Plus, I really dislike the limited choice of charts too.
