We perform activity tours where our guests select if they would like to hike, snorkel, stand up paddle board, sightsee, combine these activities, or enjoy all of them in one circle island adventure day.

Outstanding Reservation Software

We really like the no-fee model that FareHarbor uses for the service provider - we do not pay ANY fees to FareHarbor (other than a very reasonable credit card processing fee (1.9%) for payments). We are excited to continue to use FareHarbor and implement new capabilities and features as they are released.

Financial posting difficult - not easy to take payments and post to your financial system with proper tax, fee, gross breakdowns

Fareharbor has helped me grow my business faster than I could alone!

Better customer service, guest communication, easier to prepare for trips with guest rosters and good customer service from Fareharbor to help get tasks done that don't seem intuitive.

Pros

Easy to add new offerings, photos, easy communication with guests & affordable for a small business. Automatic follow up emails are super helpful feature!

Cons

No staff availability option/calendar integration, no equipment roster for trips or rentals, multi-days don't block out all days they are out on the calendar which would be a helpful visual for scheduling and it would be interesting to have google analytics integrated in the fareharbor system.

Great Software for Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) Business

The platform was trans-formative to our business from the customer experience, payments and cash flow, instructors and the reporting features.

Pros

Easy to use customer payment gateway, easy to refund or reschedule, reporting, calendar, instructor notifications, customer reminder and follow up.

Cons

It would be nice if you could generate an invoice for a customer to pay through the platform.

They have a department that will create a new Wordpress website for you, a dept that works to set up affiliate access so third parties can book through the system without calling you.

Cons

It's very customizable, and as such, you need their help.

FareHarbor is the BEST in the Business-Bar None!

I love the aesthetics of my website and how I get to send receipts I create or the canned ones they created for me instead of standard looking ones to my customers. It looks professional and the best part is the credit card fees!

Pros

Ease of use 1.9% + 30 cents Swipe Fee Calendars are so customizable Social Professional Customer Support is off the charts amazing!

Cons

The one stickler I have that I have noticed is kicking my butt, maybe I am doing it wrong and just need to ask, but I wish there was an automatic tax rate button or something so I can always have the correct rate when charging my customer.

It is not easy to keep track of who paid us for the bookings we made but not collected payments, unless we are using excel, making invoices and adding payments manually.

The staff is wonderful to work with and answer all of your questions. Our business consists of boat tours, booze cruises, corporate events, and more. Awesome! Great features and service. Does everything I can image I want scheduling software to do.

Takes a lot off my plate for scheduling classes and events and gives a very professional internet interface for us.

Pros

Hard to pick just one but the exemplarily customer service and the customizability. I can't remember any other product I've worked with where it is so easy to get a tech support person on the phone who know the product so well as can help.

Cons

Some of the features aren't very intuitive to the end user such as how custom fields and discount codes are implemented.

The ease of making a reservation by the customers is great and if I have questions I just call and the staff is extremely helpful.

Pros

The custom, automatic email confirmations, reminders and follow ups are great.

Cons

It's not that I like it least, but I would like to be able to schedule guides for days off in the calendar. I have a work around but if I can add crew to a day I'd like to be able to block crew off for a day as well.

FAREHABOR IS HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE THE COMPETITION

We were so impressed with FareHarbor’s customer management system which met all the criteria we were looking for including the flexibility of being able to use the system for cash on the spot sales, all the bells and whistles related to communicating with our customers with customizable booking confirmation and reminder e-mails, alert e-mails for weather, customer database, less clicks till purchase, fast and easy, good calendar layouts, etc.

Pros

FareHarbor is a great company to partner with if you have a tour or activity business.

Cons

So far we have not found any cons

None of them compare to FareHarbor, here's why: Cost - lowest cc authorizing fee, no monthly fee to me, manageable cost to customer at 6%, ease of use - intuitive and clean, high conversion rate for bookings white-labeled - the booking window integrates seamlessly to your website, no secondary window or third party phone system to call in to customizable - custom fields let you ask all the questions you want extensive reporting - you can seriously run a report on anything affiliate program - most extensive affiliate marketing program out there.
