Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

ServiceWorks overview
What is ServiceWorks?
ServiceWorks is an all-in-one field service management software platform built for service businesses that need to manage the complete service lifecycle—from the first customer call through scheduling, dispatch, parts ordering, job completion, invoicing, payment, and follow-up.
Designed for appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, commercial food equipment service, and other field service organizations, ServiceWorks connects office staff, technicians, managers, customers, and suppliers in one system. Businesses can reduce manual work, improve technician productivity, gain better visibility into operations, and improve customer experience.
ServiceWorks includes scheduling and dispatch tools that help businesses manage technician calendars, service areas, skills, availability, capacity, and workload. Dispatchers can assign and reschedule jobs while technicians receive job information through the mobile app.
The platform supports service calls, estimates, work orders, invoices, recurring services, service contracts, and memberships. Customer history, equipment information, service notes, photos, documents, parts, payments, and communications remain connected to the service record.
A key strength of ServiceWorks is its integrated inventory, parts, and purchasing workflow. Service businesses can manage inventory across warehouses, trucks, and locations while creating purchase orders directly from jobs. ServiceWorks integrates with major parts distributors including Marcone, Encompass, Reliable Parts, and Sundberg, allowing users to place parts orders without leaving the ServiceWorks system.
Parts purchasing is connected directly to the service workflow. When a required part is ordered, a job can automatically move to Waiting on Parts. When the part is received, the job can automatically transition to Ready to Be Rescheduled, helping eliminate manual status updates and preventing jobs from being forgotten. Businesses can also notify customers when parts arrive so they can schedule the return appointment.
ServiceWorks supports receiving, returns, purchase orders, inventory transfers, barcode workflows, truck inventory, cycle counts, and detailed parts tracking, improving control over inventory and purchasing.
For appliance repair and warranty service organizations, ServiceWorks supports warranty workflows and integrations with industry platforms including ServiceBench and ServicePower, so companies can manage COD and warranty work in one platform.
ServiceWorks also includes customer communication tools such as SMS, appointment reminders, customer portals, estimates, invoices, payment processing, recurring billing, forms, reporting, dashboards, commissions, and accounting integrations.
Integrated payment capabilities allow businesses to collect payments in the office or in the field and connect payment information directly to jobs and invoices.
ServiceWorks mobile applications give technicians access to schedules, customer information, equipment history, job notes, parts, forms, photos, estimates, invoices, signatures, and payments in the field, with online and offline capabilities for limited connectivity.
Managers can use ServiceWorks reporting and analytics to monitor operational and financial performance, including technician productivity, job status, receivables, inventory, parts usage, commissions, service performance, and key business metrics.
ServiceWorks is built for companies that have outgrown disconnected scheduling, accounting, inventory, purchasing, and communication systems and want a field service platform capable of supporting more sophisticated service operations.
By bringing scheduling, dispatch, CRM, work orders, inventory, purchasing, warranty, mobile field service, customer communication, invoicing, payments, reporting, and automation together, ServiceWorks helps service businesses improve efficiency, maintain operational control, and scale.
