In other practice management solutions, there often isn't a separate way to track, let's say, a spouse's telephone number or DOB. We would just add a secondary number to the client card which is confusing and unhelpful. Emails are linked into Tax Dome which helps cut down on printing out emails. Plus it lets others in the firm see what was communicated with the client.

Email capability is critical to enable tax dome to somewhat replace email but also to enable team members to see all client emails sent to the firm.

only a single email syncs - and if one email address is linked to multiple accounts - the emails go to each account - not just the relevant one.

Interacts with Zapier to update my contact list (phone mostly) so I can always stay in contact quickly if needed. Especially with new clients.

The integration with Microsoft Outlook allows my emails to be connected to the client receiving the email, which makes it easier to follow.

Our emails are important - only complaint is when sending an email from TaxDome it changes format and does not look as polished.

I can look directly on TaxDome and see emails my clients have sent me to my outlook account all in their tax dome account area.

Emails are important for all sorts of reasons. It's nice that everything is automatically grouped by client.

I like the ability to save important client data from email to the client file in the software.

As an admin, I monitor Inbox+ to ensure we are not missing important details from our clients.

Because it keeps all of the emails in one place without having to resave and upload.

So that everyone on the team can be aware of client communication with all of us.

It is nice to build out welcome emails, etc. that are general for pipelines.

The calendar and task management requires this integration to be efficient

We are a Drake Tax shop. TaxDome for Windows app is ok, probably more of a minimum for functionality. We really wish Drake Documents and TaxDome could auto-sync. Not Drake Portals, that's what we're giving up for TaxDome, but Drake Documents client folder structure.

The integration with my tax software is critical because there is information I can import, and it allows for the signature forms to be uploaded directly to the portal for signatures.

The main goal was to have a single place to interface with clients. If the integration wasn't seamless, this would not have fit my needs.

I printed documents directly from Drake, some for approval by the client and others to be signed within their portal.

Allows for instant file upload but does not change status in Taxdome if status changes in drake or vice versa

We use Drake Tax for compliance. It's simple to upload documents from Drake to customer folders in Taxdome.

I print directly from Drake to TaxDome so my clients can view their returns and sign forms.

Simple! Drake is where the work lives, and the end product our clients know us for.

Drake is our core tax preparation software, so seamless integration is critical.

This IS my business...tax preparation so it's important to integrate smoothly!

Took some time understanding how the income and stripe expenses were recorded. I also declined mutiple services but it all going under one account since TaxDome doesn’t allow me to have mutiple income accounts

I love that this takes out manual labor for me syncing not only clients, payments, expense breakout, but also products and services syncing to separate income accounts. I love it.

It's what all my clients use. I'd like a way to integrate my questions with the transaction inside TD (the client requests takes too long and it isn't efficient).

This is important because this is where i do bookkeeping for my clients and myself. The information easily transfers between the two systems.

It helped me set up my clients. And, when I used the invoice feature in TaxDome, it made the bookkeeping side easier and faster.

Because we can still manage our Accounts Receivable out of QBO if we want and still get excellent functionality out of TaxDome.

Invoice tracking. For bookkeeping clients I hope it'll replace the receipt feature and also the Client Requests feature of QBO.

It helps keep client data consistent across platforms and enhances our ability to offer complete accounting solutions.

It is one of our main programs for our bookkeeping services. It is also our account software.

Could be better, Taxdome is able to transfer to QB but QB does not transfer back to Taxdome.

Love that it brings all of my client emails into the account. I can stay out of my inbox to avoid noise and just deal with client work in Canopy.

All of my correspondence from my email automatically say used to my clients accounts. It makes it a lot easier to keep track with recordkeeping.

We received so many emails per day that it was imperative to have our email in one place with our workflow management software

I can look directly on TaxDome and see emails my clients have sent me to my gmail account all in their tax dome account area.

I love the fact that emails will be able to communicate with clients and keep my branding.

It centralizes conversations and improves our ability to track follow-ups across our team.

This way any team member can process emails I was receiving for client work.

I haven't been able to get the integration to work just yet. Also, I think it will only bring in my public Calendly links, and I need the private ones available as I don't want clients to book a meeting any time they wish. The public link is for potential clients. I look forward to seeing if by integrating we can add in potentials as they book a call with us, but this is still unknown as I am still learning all of TaxDomes features.

The Calendly integration allows clients to set up a time with us easily, which saves time and eliminates unnecessary back-and-forth.

I love the integration with Calendly because my clients don’t have to wait until I call them back to schedule an appointment.

This allows customers to schedule an appointment and it instantly connects with my other calendars

This is my scheduling platform that I used to allow clients to book meetings with me or my firm.

It allows clients to have access to my calendar link without me sending it to them.

To have an integrated book appointment function within the portal is excellent.

Payment made easier. I love the feature of blocking the document until payment is made. It has saved us time by not having to email clients about payment.

I don't like Stripes fees and lag in depositing my money. I have used it but switched to CPACharge which can be integrated with TaxDome, too.

Stripe allows us to collect payments directly through the client portal, making the experience seamless for our clients.

Stripe integration with subscription billing is extremely important and currently doesn't work in Taxdome

Integration fails. We tried to use Zapier to build an integration with Xero and sync contacts but it failed.

I'm using zapier to help connect other apps to actions in TaxDome - saving time again.

Must be able to print/send Form 8879 for signature via portal and final Tax Returns to client using the portal, produced from TaxAct Professional.

I can upload tax returns to Tax Dome so I don't have to email sensitive information through the Web.

It is nice when things work together so you don't have to do the same work twice or more

The tax preparation is one of the cornerstones of our business and being able to generate the file, store it in Taxdome's cloud infrastructure, assign a job and create an invoice when the process is done at the least amount of time is key for our success.

Seamless integration with ProSeries would be a real feather in your cap, and opens up a world of opportunity as you compete with SmartVault as they're the only Intuit partner in this area at the moment.

We can print tax form directly into Tax Dome. We can then send for client signature and store in Tax Dome.

We would like to securely print client copies of tax returns directly to the Client Folder in Tax Dome. Currently this is not possible. Lacerte prints to a TD folder and then the Client Folder must be selected as it's destination. This is error prone and could cause grave security issues.

This integration could be improved. The integration provides basic "print to" features but there are a few more mouse clicks involved to get a current year tax return into a current year folder vs. the software having more intelligence.
