In general, ZipBooks is a superb device for new organizations and associations. It's a magnificent decision.

ZipBooks also has great reporting features which shows you your total revenue for the past 12 months, an expense report, income per client, outstanding payments, tax and more.

I had a dispute with a company that uses Zipbooks for payment. The company ceased ALL contact with me. I called Zipbooks to see how to start a dispute against the company.

It was easy to get started with Zipbooks. The interface is intuitive and user friendly, and there are a few helpful integrations, such as with Square and Bluevine.

ZipBooks has a great many features and is very much incorporated with the organization's different items. Additionally, you can check your SKU, merchant subtleties, and stock close by.

I do find it a bit frustrating that I cannot find out WHEN my deposits are estimated to hit my bank.

Overall, ZipBooks provides me with accounting tools that are basic but effective. I can get a clear look at my profits and losses and keep track of my Business Health Score within the software. It has helped me learn to be more organized as a solopreneur but I could see the need to shift to a different software if growth occurs and teams are involved.

A good, basic beginner accounting software

I love ZipBooks I use it for two businesses, my consulting and my graphic design - It's simply amazing for a low cost platform it meets all of my needs with only a few hiccups once or twice a year. Not bad IMO.

I connected with their customer support and they were willing to try to resolve the issue but they were not sure if they could work with the .bank website connection. Very disappointed as I had spent so much time with the software. I could have done manual reconciliation, but I was doing that before the software! That's why I got the software!
If it works for you, it is basic and very functional. Sad it did not work out.

Good if you can connect to your bank!

Great For Basic Scenarios

Great for a small business for accounting and invoicing

Overall, if you are an individual looking for a cool interface to keep a general ledger, this is a cool system.  It's absolutely NOT a system of businesses.  As a small business, I simply can't afford spending hours trying to may a paid system work.  In this day, software shouldn't need someone holding it's hand.  There are better systems out there and well worth the larger cost.

Hopefully this can save someone else from headaches.  Move on, you'll be glad you skipped this system.

Receiving payments is absolutely insane.

I started with accounting but now I use it for invoicing and time tracking. I can share with other users as well. Reports are easy to see and simple to use. 

ZipBooks provided simple software and it grew with me - from free to inexpensive.

At tax time, my job is significantly easier!

ZipBooks gives me a simple, but powerful alternative to QuickBooks Online, at 1/3 the cost 

Anytime i have an issue (usually me not being very technological) i get a professional solution! 

Saved on monthly unnecessary accounting fees using this service and the software fit my small business without having to worry about getting stuck with bells and whistles I didn't need.

ZipBooks is a fantastic cloud accounting service that offers extremely thorough documentation and unfettered API access allowing a business owner to focus on the business, not balances.  The main thing that drew me to ZipBooks first was fast and free and allowed for Subscription Billing/Invoicing.
The awesome API, clean interface and absolute user-friendliness is what has kept me around.  Above all, ZipBooks dedication to absolutely phenomenal customer service it truly commendable and something to be emulated.

Intuitive, Slick, Clean and in a word--SIMPLE.

Zipbooks is new, and while they still need to develop a consistent and positive track record, I can say that their product and team show a lot of promise. I have had quite a bit of contact with their team and they have taken my advice and feature requests seriously. These are early days, but so far it looks great and they seem to be moving in the right direction.

An Amazing FREE or Very Low Cost Accouting Platform

Michael P.:                                            My name's Michael. I'm a small business owner and I'm giving Zipbooks a five out of five star review. For more reviews, click below. Before using Zipbooks, I used a couple different products, including Quicken and QuickBooks. I still continue to use actually all this software for different needs, for different parts of my business to keep different tracks of different accounts, that kind of thing. Zipbooks is just as good as any of them.
                                                       Initially, the main reason that I chose Zipbooks is simply due to the cost. You can actually open up a free account that has many of the features in the full version, and you can actually do a lot just with the free account. That's initially what really drew me to using Zipbooks. And then, I eventually upgraded to the lowest tier, which is still incredibly cheap and very simple program to use. It's almost too simple, in a way.
                                                       It took me a short amount of time to get familiar with the layout of the program as is going to be the case with most software that you use. But the layout is just pretty much as simple as possible. It's just a white background. There's not a lot of bells and whistles to it, which is nice, especially if you're just looking for the bare minimum. In the free version, there is not as much as you can do with some of the paid versions, but in some ways, it's almost nice because it helps you to really onboard and get familiar with the program before even having to pay for it, which is amazing.
                                                       I always recommend Zipbooks to friends and family who may be looking for some sort of program and may not have a budget or very little budget. If they just want to keep track of income expenses, maybe get some very basic income statement or budgeting, that kind of thing for the very basic stuff, and if they're just looking to get their feet wet, I always recommend Zipbooks first, because like I said, it's free to initially start. And even if you do one of the paid versions, it's still extremely reasonable. So, I do recommend it quite often for people, especially beginners.

                                                       I needed a program that would allow me to document all of my income and transactions, so I found Zipbooks by scrolling online and doing a Google search.
                                                       I chose the Zipbooks as my preferred application because it allows me to easily document my transactions and generate a couple of reports, and it helps keep me organized all while being a free platform for me to use.
                                                       It was super simple to begin using Zipbooks. I just had to put in a couple basic login information and it was very self-explanatory for me to use.
                                                       For anyone who's considering using Zipbooks, I would say, first of all, it's very easy to use, but I would just recommend keeping up with putting in your different transactions so that you generate an accurate report and you should be all set to go.
