Great product, friendly service

Rippling makes it easy for my employees to get paid, track PTO, do open enrollment for healthcare and it handles all the tax/compliance stuff with ease.

Pros

For benefits and Worker's Comp, it integrates with third parties seamlessly (our health insurance broker and a Worker's Comp company Rippling works with).

Cons

Today's payroll run surfaced a brand new report that wasn't there just two weeks ago, so I'm hopeful this is an area they are devoting more attention to.

Their customer support is responsive and the product itself is extremely intuitive.

Pros

Does an incredible job of integrating with our there softwares while also automating our onboarding and employee management to our own customizations and organizational structure.

Cons

I think a dashboard to fully walkthrough everything it has to offer with real life examples of people using it to it's full potential could benefit my business.

Really frees up a lot of time managing employees, computers and software licenses for the team.

Pros

Intuitive design, easy to navigate, saves a lot of time managing multiple systems for employees.

Cons

Benefits portion is not as customizable as some other stand-alone benefits admin systems but is more intuitive to set up on our own and far better than any other payroll-based benefits system we've tested.

Pros

Easy to create rules for different types of employees. Onboarding and offboarding various tasks are helpful.

Cons

Deductions are not calculated automatically, users benefits are not automatically setup.

If you are very small, this platform might work but for the most part, the customer service is horrible, the platform is 100% self service so if you need any sort of flexibility or if you make any mistake, you're on your own.

The only thing to like about this software is that it's cheap

Pros

I think it was easy to implement, though I wasn't the one responsible for that. from consumer side it's easy

I am not sure what to say in this regard, we went from no payroll software to this one so no comparison

I am able to bring on new employees and get them working without a lot of time spent doing HR paperwork.

Pros

It is very user friendly, so I did not have to spend a lot of time reading through a manual to do what I wanted to do in real time. I can bring on new hires and not be bogged down with the details of the payroll paperwork, it is almost seamless.

Cons

I am not required to use the report feature and don't have access.

Staying on top of all the documentation when bringing new employees or contractors onboard was a real hassle and we were not consistent enough about it.

Pros

Their browser-based dashboard is extremely easy to use and in the handful of times I have needed it, their customer service was exceptionally responsive and helpful.

Cons

When making the switch over to Rippling from my previous payroll provider, I had to manually import the contractor records from the year-to-date and I made some mistakes.

Cons

- The rigid process for a few apps doesn't leave room for customization - Site can be buggy at times, but nothing concerning - Would be nice if they bundled pricing again, it can get expensive with all of the bells and whistles per employee

We are also able to onboard employees efficiently without a bunch of paper being sent back and forth.

- Intuitive Design: easy to navigate, clear menus, simple click-throughs. - Comprehensive Features: from onboarding to benefit management, have yet to find a limit to what this software can do. - Scalable for various organization sizes: our organization size is relatively small, but it revolutionized & streamlined our HR/Onboarding approach. - Mobile App: Glitch-free, useful, great to access benefit information on-the-go - Task Features: This tool can be leveraged however would best fit your organization.

Cons

Honestly haven't encountered an aspect of the software that has been frustrating. It may be difficult for some to find/access benefit information, but that wasn't my experience.

Rippling has been a great tool and very useful for our entire company.

Pros

From customized reports (employee birthdays, t-shirt sizes, PTO reports) to easy hiring that takes less than 5 minutes, Rippling has been a life saver to make sure no HR step is missed.

Cons

Transferring medical information from hard copies to Rippling (especially during the renewal period) was a little difficult and made it hard to identify who had a change in their plans. although this will not be a problem in the future now that we have fully transitioned our health insurance tracking through Rippling.
