GoToWebinar

Reviewed 8 months ago

I like using GotoWebinar for video conferences and doctor's appointments because it is convenient and cheap.

Pros

I think the most impactful/useful function of this software is it's cost. It's very affordable to use for video chats.

Cons

We sometimes have issues with the connectivity or not being able to hear one another. We usually just log off and back on and the problem fixes itself.

Good flexible solution

Reviewed 2 years ago

does the job for us although the pricing could be a bit more convenient Also it would be nice if we didn't have to download a software for most to jump on our webinars

Pros

Works well and doesn't crash unlike others. They've been around for a while and compared to the others they're quite quality

Cons

Price point. Although we started using it but it would be nice if they offered a cheaper tier We pay for it but they may get competition soon

Reviewed 4 years ago
Pros

Very cost effective as it makes communication between different branches of an organization very seamless and easy saving traveling costs. Likable and simple user interface that allows for easy meeting scheduling.

Cons

After using the free version i tried to use it but it proved to be a bit expensive for me so i had to opt for a cheaper software but in overall the software is great.

Great if you can afford it, but missing featurees

Reviewed a year ago

Overall we had a good experience. We would host webinars and it was simple to use (as mentioned). The price and the tiers felt like they were made up, and totally maximized to get your money. It was not cheap, but they are pretty ubiquitous.

Pros

It is easy to roll out, Citrix makes stuff pretty simple across the board. The actual interface is pretty intuitive, and most non-tech people can manage it without a lot of handholding.

Cons

Somehow they have not figured out how to do streaming video through the connection. It has been talked about in the forums for years, and they haven't gotten it right. We were using this for 30+ webinars a week and had to use all sorts of other softwares and workarounds to get synced video/audio. Finally we built a solution to do it for us.

GoToWebinar review

Positive experience while using it, especially good for training.

Pros

A reliable tool for meetings, especially great during these current times of online working. The tools are easy to work with especially the polling tool that we enjoy using for training purposes.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve, and it hasn't changed much over last 4 years so would maybe like some new functionality. Also it is quite expensive given its cheaper competitors.

Pros

I love the fact that all registrant emails are auto generated, saving time from having to manually create these emails and workflows in Hubspot. Speaking of Hubspot, yes, it integrates with HS! Love it!

Cons

Pricing can be a factor just depending on your budget but over the software provided enough value to justify in budget!

My Best Webinar Software So Far!

Reviewed 3 years ago

Gotowebinar helps me increase my affiliate earnings. Helps me educate potential customers on my products and services.

Pros

Gotowebinar is by far the best webinar software for me in the past two years now! As an internet marketer, I constantly host webinars to educate new and existing customers. Gotowebinar has enabled me increase my affiliate earnings, It enables me to educate potential customers on my products and services. These days, written words are not enough to make the desired sales, customers need to have a personal touch with you before they make that buying decision, and this is where Gotowebinar comes in handy.

Cons

This tool is great for the money, however, new marketers struggle to pay the price. I had to struggle so hard in order to afford this tool.

GoToWebinar Fairly User Friendly

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall, I will continue to use this product and will recommend to others. As stated above, it holds a lot of value for a free product!

Pros

I love any connectivity product that allows for clear video conferences. GoToWebinar is fairly straightforward and easy to use.

Cons

Sometimes the call connectivity can be a little dicey, although those could be internal network issues. I've had more issues with GoToWebinar that some other video conferencing platforms but for the low cost of free, it performs its function well.

GoToWebinar is a great product for webinars, if you want a solid system backed by a solid company

Reviewed 4 years ago

Exposure, advertising, client relationships, new business, service

Pros

What I like most about GoToWebinar is the value for the money. We've been On24 customers, and I find GoToWebinar every bit as functional as On24, but MUCH CHEAPER. Sure, it doesn't have all of the bells and whistles, but it has just about everything I and my clients need.

Cons

I'd like to see Quick Polls added. I like to be able to ask the audience if they get an idea, on the fly, without it being part of a pre-arranged poll . On24 had this feature, and I really liked it.

Pros

GoToWebinar is very easy to have multiple co hosts and have them share their camera or screen. We use this monthly for a big meeting for the company and we have been pleasantly surprised at the video and sound quality that goes out to our remote employees.

Cons

Could have better chat features for those on the webinar. Also the price per seat is more expensive that competitors.

The industry leader, but too pricey for some

Reviewed 5 years ago

I used GoToWebinar briefly in one of my businesses, and found it very good at its core function, but felt limited in administrative functions, and difficult to set up and operate multi-presenter webinars. (most webinar services are the same in this respect). I felt, however, that the pricing structure was a bit excessive for a small business only occasionally using webinars.

Pros

Does what it says it will, without errors or problems.

Cons

Cost, difficult setup

Great ease-of-use, better features than most out there

Reviewed 3 years ago
Pros

Everyone needs a software like this (whether you use Zoom, join.me, etc) but this has more features and better connection than Join.me, and is cheaper than Zoom, so it's pretty great!

Cons

Not as easy to understand as Join.me, but that's only because there are more features available to use
