Q. What is Invoice2go used for?
Invoice2go is an online software service offering smartphone apps for iOS and Android, for the purposes of issuing invoices on the go. The product promises to enable business and freelance users to create professionally styled invoices from a gallery of customizable templates, along with estimates, packing lists, credit memos, purchase orders and more. With an emphasis on speeding up client payments and going paperless, the app also tracks the sent invoice and produces informative business reports that make it easy to gauge performance from chart visualizations. Invoice2go also feeds back tracking data to provide a status on exactly when the client has received, opened and acknowledged the document, making it easier to pick the most appropriate time to chase up. Automated reminders can then be turned on to gently inform a client that a payment request is pending, due, or in fact late. In addition, Invoice2go actually assists the payment process by securely handling the processing of online debit or credit card transfers – alongside with PayPal and Apple Pay. With this feature activated, the customer simply clicks "Pay Now", while subtracting a transaction fee of fee of 2.9% + $0.30 from the total amount. Similarly, users can also conveniently record and track expenses by snapping receipts via the mobile's camera, storing the photo and data in one secure location for easing export when calculating tax etc.
