I've been completely happy. So affordable that I have stepped up my plan as our followers grow. Money well spent!

Pros

I love that it is so easy to send a message and watch your followers grow. Great and efficient way to raise public awareness, with notifications and a way for our followers to take action. The Support staff make themselves available, are knowledgable and patient.

Cons

I wish it was easier to attack photos and links.

Easy to use for the marketing and communicating in an effective way that's affordable and easy to use.

Pros

The open rates of text message marketing make it a no-brainer for me. Additionally, I've got to say that it's really fantastic to be at a speaking engagement and have the room text a word into their phones all at once. It's as close to automated as you can get while you're standing right there in the room. I love it! And the attendees love it because they get whatever they're texting to receive right away. We live in a "right now" world and to deliver in that way is impressive to the attendees. They love it!

Cons

Slick Text has been a wonderful provider for my company. However, I don't like it when a text word is already taken. It has only happened once but it's just part of how text message marketing works.

we had a low closing rate for our leads, but since we used slicktext, our closing rate improve a lot. it can lower our ROI for advertising.

Pros

it has an amazing customer service experience, lots of youtube videos to instruct us how to utilize, it also has a very easy and simple interface to operate.

Cons

we cannot use our own form which built by wordpress to collect the leads and directly send them to slicktext and mailchimp, the leads cannot be automatically sent to slicktext from mailchimp instantly, need sync, which is not good

A fantastic value for the money

Easier communication with my Karate Family population and a super easy way to run contests when I make public appearances at festivals and other community events

Pros

The contests and multiple text words are excellent. The user interface is also easy to use. Most of all, the customer service from Slick Text is nice and very responsive.

Cons

A mobile app would be an excellent addition to the offerings of Slick Text. There have been times when I didn't have an opportunity to sit in front of my computer and set up a text or contest.

Love Love Love SlickText - A Game Changer Indeed!

Communication is very important, we have a team of over 200 independent contractors. It became impossible for me to effectively and efficiently market our team events, encourage our team, and communicate important messages to every member on a timely and personalized way. Most times, only 25% of my team received a message. Now with SlickText the problem as been totally solved. I am saving so much time and everyone receives the important communications in a personalized way.

Pros

The product is a life safer! Before SlickText I was sending an individual text to each member on my team. We have over 200 members, so this became impossible and very inefficient. SlickText empowered me to send a personalized message with the stroke of a finger. It was very easy to set up and very affordable. I love the flexibility from month to month to upsize or downsize my usage as needed.

Cons

The integration was easy, the Youtubes were very helpful. There are many features that I am not using yet, but my main goal was to send a message one time and my entire team receives it. I got more than what I expected with the scheduling feature and with the personalized messages as well as the images

Pricing is something that still needs to be improved. I have a marketing agency, every day I receive promotions from competing companies with the same number of messages paying less. This is hard. I stay here because I like the treatment.

Seems to be the best

Positive, their customer service is great

Pros

I tried out several other texts messaging companies that I thought were cheaper, but this was the easiest to set up, especially getting the phone number. I went with another company at first where I had to jump through a whole bunch of hoops to try and get a phone number approved but slick text did it for me and was super easy.

Cons

I wish I could send emojis easier without it eating up all of my characters and that sending images didn't use up so many points, but I think that's just how it is

Pros

Easy to setup and get people to signup with opt-in form and a barcode form which we printed out and posted on our entrance.

Cons

The texts you earn why on more expensive plans got deleted when you downgrade the plan which we think is not fair. We earned those text numbers do even if we downgrade, those earned text numbers should stay so we can use them.

Overall I love this product. Just fix the overcharging for the use of Spanish instead of English. This is a matter of equity.

Pros

Our participants generally don't have computers. They do everything online using their phones. This tool is the best way for us to communicate with our clients easily.

Cons

Many of our clients are monolingual Spanish speakers. We are charged extra for the use of Spanish characters in our texts. This makes communication with more than half of our participants very expensive. This needs to be fixed.

Overall, I am very satisfied. I have been using this for over 2 years now and never let me down. Contacted customer service several times and they were very quick and helpful. I believe this text platform is better than other competitions.

Pros

Super easy to use, reasonable pricing for Small businesses, great & quick customer service, and awesome features like bday list as well as automatic conditions that allow you to customize lists.

Cons

I think the price goes up very quickly if your list is growing. I think the monthly prices are OK but I wish the platform allowed a little more texts to be sent per cycle.

Great text messaging software!

This is the most direct way I've found to reach my readers. You see a higher CTR than email by a lot. The customer service chat on the site is also great and I've had a good experience with that.

Pros

I like how easy it is to schedule text messages and all the tutorials that come with every part of the site.

Cons

I think the cost could be improved and it would be nice not to get charged extra for media. Considering the cost, I think they do their best to offer a great product with flexible options.

SlickText offers good marketing features, however their pricing is more friendly towards large businesses than smaller startups. That being said, a solid option.

In today's market, having the ability to advertise directly to our customer's smartphones is brilliant. With people cutting the cable on TV and streaming music instead of radio, it's a sure-fire way to get your message through the noise!

Pros

The simplicity of getting your message out there, the ease with which I can get support, and the results we've seen make Slicktext an excellent value

Cons

Being newer, there are still some functions I am looking for, however since we've begun with Slicktext we've already seen several upgrades and the implementation of timed SMS coupon renewals

Has so far exceeded my expectations. Should be easy to grow. I like the alacarte pricing structure and the roll over texts. They also offered me free key words...just ask and they can hook up a couple extra if we need them---i thought that was great

Pros

Customer support is extremely quick to respond...you can even call them which is unheard of nowadays. Integrates very easily with zapier

Cons

nothing yet - still in our first month but so far so good

My overall experience with SlickText has been an absolute joy. They are kind, courteous, and knowledgable.

Pros

What I like most about SlickText is the people who work there. I looked at more than half a dozen texting platforms when choosing one to use on behalf of my clients and they were all very similar in features and cost. However, SlickText's customer service was hands-down the finest experience.

Cons

What I liked least about SlickText was how difficult it was to integrate with my current automation platform. However, their support staff dove right in and stuck with me until we had a working solution.
