Pros

Paymo is user friendly, allowing the entire team to be able to use it with ease especially team members who are not as organized as others.

Cons

Unfortunately it is not possible to export a gantt chart. For our company exporting gantt charts is a must as more often than not clients wish to have a view into the timeline of a project.

- Best time tracking and reports with - Beautiful Gantt Chart and Resource scheduling - Team task assignment and monitoring is very nice. - Beautiful dashboard - Invoicing and payment solution

Feel you on the invoicing part, it's a bit limited in customizations if you don't know HTML & CSS. We're revamping the whole module this year to make it more user friendly, so keep an eye on it!

As for the time reports, I think you don't use them correctly. You can in fact report on time for each task, even export it in a CSV or PDF format. Here's how: https://help.paymoapp.com/en/articles/888766-what-are-time-reports

I am in the Software & Web Development industry and I need a tool for management my daily tasks, report hours and time tracking in order to have a clear understanding about how my projects are going on: progress, hours worked, tasks done, percentage of efforts in each task, and so on.

Pros

Obviously a good UI also comes with a set of features that does this tool a very useful tool to do task management and time tracking.

Cons

This tool is more oriented to project management in a general and administrative perspective (progress, tasks, hours worked, etc.) than a tool for manage the software development life cycle (Agile projects, and so on).

There is even an app on android that syncs to my projects to do quick time tracking (there was an error and reported the error which got fixed in a day!)

Pros

Can't customize the email notification PDF not included in email notification Unlimited invoices only assigned to one person

I mentioned time tracking earlier but Paymo also does project management, client management, invoicing, estimation, Zapier integration, scheduling, team tasking...and the list goes on and on.

Pros

Time tracking is seamlessly integrated into our current designer workflow.

Cons

We've been with Paymo for over 10 years so it was a bit of a kick when they started charging for functionality like Gant Charts. We've always loved the complete 'soup-to-nuts' service that Paymo offered so when certain items were put behind another paywall it definitely stung a bit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Loved the "(9/10 times it's with customer correspondence)" part, Neal :)

Besides Gantt Charts, the Business plan also comes with a Team Scheduling module, 100 GB of storage, and priority support.

We found this plan to be more appealing to larger teams, that's why we've decided to include it in a separate plan.

What specifically do you need from Gantt Charts, the ability to set dependencies or see task deadlines on a calendar?

If it's the latter one, then I have some good news: we're going to launch a task calendar view in the near future, so stay tuned!

Time tracking available from desktop and from the mobile app helps us track the time spend on tasks with real ease.

It is not more useful in large industries because there is some limitation to use Paymo in large work management.

Pros

Paymo is very good designed for time tracking for various projects and that helps me a lot to manage my task on time and the below features I like most in Paymo are: 1) That track task time for every project. 2) It tracks PTO days also. 3) It generates and gives time reports so that I will manage my time better.

Cons

There are some features that Paymo should have to include in their platform are: 1) There is no way to accept client request work without any external integration. 2) Budget calculation from the project to the task is quite difficult.

Paymo has a great selection of features, including: - time tracking - employee scheduling - project management tools - Gantt Charts - Invoice generators It has been a great tool for gaining insight into how much time our employees spend on various tasks and projects and helped us refine our internal economics and price quoting.

Cons

- The phone app is still a work in progress and currently has limited features and functionality - The stopwatch on the phone app doesn't sync with the computer widget or in-browser timer - Team scheduling doesn't allow for classification by "type/position" - Multipliers can't be added to certain time entries, such as a 1.5x multiplier for overtime

I am also able to view tasks and task lists in different ways that allow me to effectively organize and plan my work day.

Pros

It is easy to add users, manage your subscription plan, view and add clients.

Cons

I wish that I could have used more invoices in the free plan, just to grow my business a little bit more before spending more, but I am loving the subscription plan I am on at the moment.

I was first introduced to Paymo because a client was using it already for their own internal business management logistics.

There aren't many tools that will give you 100% of what you're looking for or needing in an application. So, I recommend picking one that gets you as close as you can and then getting as familiar as possible with it so you can learn how to make more of it work for your needs.

Being able to track projects with the department and also reporting on timesheets was a huge plus for us.

Pros

Ability to use both mobile and desktop apps to track time for your projects.

Cons

I would recommend the paid account as the free one doesnot have advanced task manager.

I love how you can organize all the tasks, content and planning for each project.

Cons
