Only con comes from some of the display for late fee, as it is sometimes confusing, and for the deadlines as people struggle to remember if the deadline is at midnight that day or 11:59 pm.

This was the best choice for my 300 unit HOA community. I'm so pleased that I paid for the full year with a discount.

LegFi has an updated website with tools for fraternities and sororities to collect dues, fundraise, and manage finances. Customer service is excellence and fees are minimal creating great value.

My biggest issue with the website is when I edit charges the system is hard to accurately change to the new total and it messes up that persons account.

PayHOA was easy to integrate to, and very user friendly for our members.

I am new to the administrative side of LegFi, and have been able to quickly learn the program and how I can use it to help me and my members. The site is well organize and very easy to use.

It's a very interactive and powerful tool that gives you just about anything you can think of. And if it's not there, the support team listens to ideas to see if it can be implemented.

The best part of the software is the simple UI with the abundance of features need to self manage a small single family HOA with less than 100 units, all in one place.

I am the president of our HOA for about 65 homes and we recently decided to move to a self managed HOA. I participated in free trials for almost every major product available on Capterra.

Not a satisfied customer

I'm very sorry to hear about your negative experience with our customer support team and our platform.

I do see that you emailed us to cancel a PDF mailer the day after it was initiated. Unfortunately, our mailer already had the job in production and could not cancel it. I'll make sure we add some language to the confirmation page to make it clearer that submissions are final. 

We are looking at other direct mailers that offer more flexibility for cancellation, but it's a difficult balance because our clients also want their mailers put in the mail as quickly as possible and cancellation windows slow that process.

We went self managed 4 years ago and never looked back.  PayHOA made this incredibly easy.  We chose to input the owner information ourselves as part of the learning process and to fact check the information that was handed off by our previous management company.  The PayHOA team is responsive and helpful.

Overall, I have been very pleased with the decision to use PayHOA.  No system is perfect, but assistance is only an email away with a quick response.

Overall PayHOA seems the perfect platform for condominium association management. It is simple, easy to use, easy to correct mistakes and communicate with tech support as well as clients.

I became a user as the President of the HOA and have found it is very robust and capable of doing things that we are not doing.  I have not had to contact support but I am told that it is available and at no additional cost.  This is another plus.

We have an outstanding experience with the PayHOA platform. It gives the Board more confidence to navigate our Association independently.
It helps us to see a bigger picture of our finances. It's easy to evaluate our income categories and expenses. When we signed up for the PayHOA, we also decided to use Alliance Association Bank as our banking agent (it was one of the options proposed by PayHOA). We are so pleased with this cooperation: we are currently working on getting a loan from them for our roof and elevator projects.

Outstanding experience 

I decided to use PayHOA 5 years ago because other software was too expensive, required an upfront annual payment/subscription, and limited free support. I like getting instant auto help feed back and if you need more help, you can email a support team member. I usually get help the next morning and the problem is solved.

By switching to PayHOA we were able to eliminate spending to HOA management companies and bring everything in house for quick and easy management for all facets.

Great Start, but a Struggle Now!

James:                                                 I'm James. I'm the treasurer of a homeowners' association. We use the PayHOA accounting app to keep our financial records and I would overall rate that at about a three.
                                                       Prior to using PayHOA, one of our homeowners who had been a math professor created a lot of Excel spreadsheets. They worked fine, but they only worked for him. As we started to think about someone else becoming treasurer, we looked outside to find some cloud-based app that could help us and PayHOA stood out.
                                                       We chose PayHOA because it was inexpensive. It had some wonderful customer support, fantastic people to speak to who could have held our hand in getting on board and stayed in touch with us, or were available for many, many months afterwards. It's done its job very nicely. It's a good app, simple record keeping. We've been happy with it.
                                                       It was very easy to onboard and integrate our homeowners records with PayHOA made all the easier by the fact that intelligent, very courteous staff people took much of that work on for themselves.
                                                       Something seems to have happened to PayHOA. I don't know what it would be like to come aboard today. I'm going to assume the coming aboard may be excellent. We've now been clients of theirs for about a year and three quarters, and in the last year, pretty much they have been completely unavailable to service us. Calls are not returned, emails are not responded to, and that courtesy and that exquisite interpersonal manner that they shared with us simply is absent. I hope it comes back. The service is still wonderful and valuable, easy to use, but in having a problem which we've had, we just can't find answers to them whatsoever.
