Much of our business has come through ad-hoc contact development, and we initially had a time working without proper customer interaction and proposal tools. We started using HoneyBook relatively recently, and it's definitely changed our approach to our side-small business by making bookings, CRM, and proposal development much easier.

                                                       One of the other companies that I was considering was Constant Contact. It was referred to me by a business associate, and I asked a lot of questions. Then I was referred to try Honeybook, and I did that. And I found that was the best solution for me.
                                                       One of the main reasons I chose Honeybook was the price basically, they have a trial introductory period. It gives you an opportunity to learn how to use the software, how to make sure that your business is getting all the benefits out of it before you make a larger investment in Honeybook. That has worked for me, I find it very affordable and it saves me money because it's basically managing my business. It works as a bookkeeper. It collects payments and it takes your clients right through from an inquiry to a closed deal. So I think it's great.
                                                       Onboarding with Honeybook, I believe it was simple, but I was a little confused in the beginning, so I reached out to their concierge, which is excellent. And they responded to me and they literally walked me through every step of the way. And I realized that I was the one that was actually making it more difficult than it needed to be. It was very easy to allow them access to my contacts, to my website, to my contact forms. And just very easily incorporated my clients and my possible clients into my business. Was very easily integrated with the other things that I was using.
                                                       My recommendation for other people who are considering using Honeybook is basically to do it. Think about the things that you need for your business that will help your business to run smoothly and to help give your clients a professional, smooth experience with you and your company. And I think that you will find that Honeybook can answer all of those needs that you have. So give it a try. It's affordable. It really won't cost you very much to actually start using the software right away. And I believe you'll see that it will make your business much more effective, much more personal, and satisfying to actually do the things that you need to do with your business.

Alyssa:                                                Hi, my name's Alyssa and I'm the founder and creative director of a web design studio. I give HoneyBook a four out of five-star rating. Before HoneyBook, I had used Pipedrive, Proposify, Practice Ignition, a little bit of HubSpot, and a couple other different platforms for online scheduling, CRM, sales, pipeline management. And Typeform as well for sending out questionnaires and forms. I ultimately chose HoneyBook as the main platform to run my business from because it integrated what in the past, potentially four separate different softwares and apps needing like a Zapier plugin to get the data across, would accomplish. With HoneyBook, I can do online scheduling, sending out client forms, contracts, proposals like a legal agreement, and basically manage my entire workflow and CRM, like client data and everything, all in one place.
                                                       Onboarding with HoneyBook was extremely easy and simple for me, and it saved me so much time. For me, this was a brand new business that I was starting out so I didn't have any contacts or anything to transfer over. But as soon as I created my HoneyBook account, people from their support team emailed me all kinds of resources and documentation. And I filled out a questionnaire about the exact industry that I work in and they picked certain templates and filled them into my account so that I had templates to start with for sending client proposals and questionnaires and feedback forms. And pretty much the majority of all the types of forms and contracts that I needed for running my business. I was like, my account just automatically had those in it to take and make minor changes to, in order to hit the ground running.
                                                       And something that I was really surprised with HoneyBook was just, they had this really in-depth legal template for sending contracts and proposals to clients. And that included a clause about pandemics and if a natural disaster occurred. And of course, it was just a template. So I was able to edit and modify it to my own needs, but just the depth and personalization of all of their templates and their whole onboarding process and chatting with a real person from their support staff was just really made me feel like I was well taken care of and set me up for success right in the start.
                                                       For someone who's looking into HoneyBook and comparing them with other software and platforms. Something that I recommend first is starting with a checklist of all the different features you think you're going to need for your business and really taking time to go through that before signing up for any platform. And then when you do sign up for a HoneyBook trial and you're going through the onboarding process, or potentially comparing them with other platforms as well, just make sure that you're communicating that with HoneyBook support so that they can provide the right templates and resources specific to your needs.
