This is not Just a software for property management, it is a smart soloution to handle all of tasks

It's been a very bad start to be totally transparent. In addition to issues with the software and the overcharges, it's really been the absent support. I had to message an executive on LinkedIn to get anyone to respond. But they have no problem charging me (more than they're supposed to).
The best thing hostaway has going is it's automatic responses and integrations. With that being said, the automatic responses do NOT work on VRBO and, despite claiming to be a preferred integration partner, the process to integrate with VRBO took over 1.5 months and resulted in dozens of double bookings
1) Inability to integrate with VRBO / Booking.com 2) If you need help, forget about them answering the phone or returning your voicemail. One of the key selling points was their promise I could always get someone on the phone. It's been 2 months and I've called about a dozen times, not 1 single time has anyone answered or returned my call3) Automated messages don't work with VRBO. This was confirmed...

I've personally taken this issue up and have refunded the amount requested, even though the contract that was signed was at a higher amount so that we can hopefully move past this. Great! I do hope wait times for customer service get better but I know you are working on that.
I love everything about Hostaway - seriously, I am your biggest fan.
When the app loads I would love multi calendar to appear first and not just the first property on the list.

Their sales pitch was very strong and elaborate
We had their sales rep falsely represent the company and their software functionality to close the deal. Once we started we realized the tool does nothing he said it would.. beware as this will cost you more time and money than the “solutions” it gives. The tool has so many bugs and quirks. The worst part is that 7 days later when we asked to cancel they kept our full onboarding fee and full subscription fee! Even tho they alnowleged they mis sold us, we had to dispute with our credit card because they went radio Silent. Bad business and bad software. Betters are out

Hostaway is a great platform to consolidate multiple channels into one single location. They have many integrations with other software vendors for insurance, remote locks, etc... that help with additional management and control of our listings. The automation features are great too, they help free up a ton of time and prevent potential issues. As a very tech forward company, they do have a ton of...
I like the multi-channel management functionality as well as direct booking website they helped us enable. Financial reporting is powerful and much easier to use than some of the other booking websites.
It's fairly complex to get set up but their onboarding is excellent (Thanks [sensitive content hidden]!)

This is the property management software you want if you're going to be managing 4 or more STRs. The software is very capable, user-friendly, and comprehensive. It truly feels like the engineers, customer support, and product managers have come together to make a product geared perfectly for their customer. The customer support is a huge bonus coming from someone that likes to do and figure things out on their own. I have saved a lot of time because the onboarding is so good and it was well worth the price for that time savings even though I was hesitant at first.
Customer support (shoutout [sensitive content hidden]) is excellent and the software is constantly improving and comprehensive.
Less applicable for me, but onboarding can take awhile. Not only the time but more so the ability to schedule the calls to happen all in the same day, for example. This could be a deal breaker for someone that needs to launch ASAP.

I really appreciated the help from the hostaway team that onboarded and started my website with me. They made it so easy. [sensitive content hidden] was assigned to my onboarding and he was great!
I originally was annoyed that I had to wait to be scheduled onboarding thinking I could just figure everything out myself and boy was I wrong. You need their support onboarding and showing you all the amazing features you now have access to.

I checked out probably 20 different PMS solutions, and had individual demos of about 10. Hostfully was in my top 3, here's why I went with them. 1). Easy interface, web-app enabled for 90% of what my managers need to do day to day, so it's easy to deal with on the go. 2). Top tier API integrations with the platforms I cared most about, VRBO and AIRBNB. 3). Their sales rep was really knowledgable...
Nothing that has bothered me yet. I think it would be nice if there was a bit more pricing tools and options, but if you are connecting to a third party Pricing Management solution (which I'm going to be doing soon) then it doesn't really impact your workflow.

as mentioned, Outstanding. Customers feels since day one that he is dealing with a reliable company. very hand driven and well organized. I am very (so far) happy. After the onboarding ends, I do hope the customer service support would be the same. Hope so..
I was very impressed since day 1 and how the kick off has been planned and managed. Very professional. The software is capable to do 90% of what you need and it is user friendly. The remaining 10% should be focused on what the property manager needs (based on country's regulations).
Booking engine, when you are about to built your website and you are only able to use google translations. which is for me, based in Portugal and being Portuguese, having a Portuguese / Brazilian translation. No good at all.

I love using Hostaway. It's not the cheapest product; however, it's nice to have all the features I want in one place instead of slapping together a few cheaper products to try to get the same result.
The thing I like most about Hostaway is the ease of use. I manage my properties while working another job, so I need automation. The automated messaging and task creation with saved checklists really saves a ton of time. My cleaner also really likes it because he can just update the cleaning tasks via the app. I really only have to answer one-off questions from guests because I'm able to seamlessly...
The booking engine could look better. I used the WordPress plugin and don't love the overall look; however, I figured by the time guests get to that point on my website they're already very interested in booking and won't be turned off by the look.

Excellent.
[SENSITIVE CONTENT] is an amazing customer care agent. He responds very quickly and is very kind and patient. He is also an expert in Hostaway and very sharp. He has helped me solve my questions or concerns on a few occasions now, and he provides excellent customer care every time. Customer care is a considerable component of any PMS so I'm thankful for Hostaway's great consistent support.
N/A. The only recomendation I have would be more automated SMS notifications to users (cleaners) such as "New Cleaning in Addition for {listing} on {checkout date}" or "Friendly Reminder of Cleaning Today {check out date (sent day of, 3 hours prior checkout)}. And also a better visual view of the calendar specifically for cleaners. Such as a monthly calender view with all the users (cleaners) assigned tasks (cleans).

Too many issues to dive into. If you value accurate financials, Hostawya will not work. If you want a system that syncs up to Airbnb or VRBO correctly, Hostaway is not the answer and you will spend hours each week re-creating your listings as Hostaway will delete the info. Support doesn't exist. You cannot reach anyone and they only actually offer email support (within 48hrs)
We were sold on the idea they had all the same features + as Guesty as a lower cost. This was not the case.
Most of their features are a shell so they can say "we offer xyz" when selling you the product.

Amazing overall experience.
From the onboarding to nowadays daily use, everything has been comfortable, the support is really useful aside their help center.
Nowadays, my main issue is about a calendar feature, which is pricing rule set. Indeed, it's develop for Airbnb but not yet for our Booking Engine and Abritel. The product team seems working hard to launch this new step. Finally, maybe the app could be a bit more develop. That's really to spot detail, my overall opinion is amazing.

The support and technology are top-notched. when I initially decided to move forward with Hostaway, the decision was based on features and benefits. As I am getting more familiar with the value it offers, the support team is outstanding and hands down what I like about most. They are knowledgeable, quick, and responsive. They really do care about your business and how to help you become more successful
there is a bit of a learning curve because of all the features and detailed reporting it offers. "Getting what you pay for" definitely applies here. with Hostaway you get a ton of support, a great product and the best value for a PMS.

Overall I’m impressed with the program and look forward to learning more.
Hostaway just makes sense. Training is important and needed, but many features are easily figured out. We tried another program for 3 months that was extremely complicated. I was doing things on my own with little training in 2 weeks with Hostaway.
Customer service was a bit slow to respond in the beginning, but we are working through with regular scheduled training sessions. When you are sitting at the computer and are stuck trying to do something, a 24-72 hour response time is not helpful.

Overall experience with Hostaway is horrific. I strongly recommend people to look elsewhere! Hostaway have a wonderful idea, but no interest in achieving it nor ensuring customer satisfaction. Customer support is a joke as they do not help or have knowledge in solving your issue. There is no phone number, so if you are in a emergency please expect 5-15 days before you receive any notification from Hostaway.
Easy to navigate and have clear view of dashboard, reservations, finances, customer list and integrations with varius thirdparty programs.
When integrating with different channels, Hostaway tends to falsify its reports. That is, several accommodations were wrong dates and had the wrong sum/fee. This caused the financial report to be inconclusive with wrong data and history. This is one of the major issue of using Hostaway, make sure you stick to one fixed amount before integrating.

I have to give a special shout-out to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] , our business account manager, who has been excellent in getting us set up and going beyond the call of duty to fix issues we experienced on a weekend. It has made the transition to using your software very productive and has taken away the stress and complexity of a move like this.
I like the ease of use in getting everything set up quickly. The all-in-one platform is just amazing. The continued drive to improve the product is great as well. Using your software has saved us a lot of time and money.
I wouldn't say I like that the only option for processing is Stripe, as they are so expensive to use. They have fees for absolutely everything. They are frustrating to work with and not a great partner for Hostaway.

My team and I just switched to Hostaway and so far, it's way much better than the previous one as it offers attentive customer service, relevant features such as creating its own invoice, monthly owner statement, mobile app accessibility, and even more updated features that are yet to be released. Highly recommended.

After trying many alternative solutions on the market, we finally found Hostaway. While not perfect, it outperformers their rivals and offers a far more cost effective solution. The best bit however, is the people behind the product. Whenever we encountered a challenge or an issue, the Hostaway team worked to solve it rapidly. What impressed me most was that during the Covid-19 issue, the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was on the phone, helping customers. That says it all really. Would recommend.
Would have liked easier setup process as it required changing of all logins.

I could not manage the properties that I manage alone without this program. It keeps me organized and makes connecting with my guests and scheduling cleanings a breeze! The feature that allows you to create a "mother" listing with "child" listings connected is amazing when you have a two in one listing.
There are the rare things that you still need to actually go into Airbnb to adjust. I'm sure this will be fixed with time.

There are indeed things that only can be adjusted on Airbnb, but they are constantly improving their API and the same limitations apply to all vacation rental software platforms. Hostaway does everything we need it to. Managing a number of different accounts across a number of different channels seems simple and new staff members are able to pick everything up quickly.
Hostaway does not offer the most features in the market. Although after careful analysis of the market we found Hostaway to offer the most value.
Since COVID there has been a large increase in demand for this product. This demand has recently slowed customer support replies, although there are getting close to pre pandemic levels now.
