Invoices coding are great, helps with manual entry. Theoretical costs are great, really delve into how each item is used in various recipes.

Always a pleasure to talk to support over there and they always have a solution. If they don't then they will find one for you.

There are lots of things we can do in ME and I like most about MarginEdge integration with third party like POS and posting invoices in ME.

Most 'missing' features in the past have been added.

We use it for invoice processing. The sales are given in Gross, which we do not use.

I think the recipe building and costing functions are great.

We signed only one of our concepts up to start as a trial in the beginning -  we have now set up almost all of our concepts (10 of them) to be integrated. 10 would recommend this product.

It creates additional profit well above any cost involved.

Food Cost / Recipe Management

I am so glad you are having a successful experience seeing how food costs can impact your profitability –  being able to adjust in the moment instead of after it's too late. We know adding recipes is a time consuming process (but integral to knowing how much your menu items cost), if we could wave a magic wand and get them in there for you, we would! We do offer a recipe service if you are interested. Our platform is continuously growing and evolving based on feedback from folks like you and we truly appreciate hearing your experience.

Having used both Bevspot and Xtrachef before this product, I feel like ME is the best you can get for it's comprehensive coverage of invoicing, transfers, inventory, ordering, bill pay, and costing.

Overall Good but have potential to become best

Great all-in-one management system

Yes, being able to scan and upload from a phone IS the best, we wholeheartedly agree ;) Thank you so much for the feedback, we are always working on improvements for an even better mobile experience for you.

Overall, it's a good product that functions well. There was some initial difficulty learning the system but after a few month's, I can see why this product is essential.

Margin Edge has been great to work with.  It does take several months to really get the data in and a while to work out the kinks on our side.  They have been right there to help us along the way as we were ready to take on more of the product.

Bill E.:                                               Hi, I'm Bill E with Bill-E's Restaurant and Bill-E's Bacon. I currently have a small company with about 30 employees, and I give MarginEdge a five star review.
                                                       Before we had MarginEdge, we were using Excel spreadsheets, QuickBooks only, and data coming from our point-of-sale system that was taking us days, weeks, or even months to get the data we needed. And by the time we got it, it was too late to do anything.
                                                       We chose MarginEdge after a search for a solution to all of our problems. I guess the main selling point was when I spoke to Michael Richmond and he let me know his extense history and background in the restaurant industry. So I wanted to work with people that understood restaurants, and that's what we're doing today.
                                                       Getting started with MarginEdge was extremely easy. Videos for help and assistance were always available and everyone was a phone call away when needed, so we were able to get started very quickly.
                                                       I would definitely recommend MarginEdge if you're looking for ways to get all the great data from your point-of-sale system into your accounting software. I would call them right away. I wouldn't delay. I would get in and do a test and watch some videos and see what they have to offer. You will not be disappointed.
