User opinions about Stripe price and value

Value for money rating:

Of 257 reviews that provide robust commentary on Stripe's price and value, 69% mention it in a positive light.

Reviewers appreciate Stripe's transparent pricing structure, which includes no monthly subscription fees and no hidden costs. They find value in the flat rate pricing, which simplifies budgeting and planning. Some users report that Stripe's competitive pricing is better than many alternatives, especially for international transactions and nonprofits. They also highlight the inclusion of additional services like PCI compliance and monthly statements in the flat rate, adding to the overall value. Users think the integration with popular shopping carts and other software, along with the ease of setup, justifies the cost.

However, some reviewers feel that Stripe's transaction fees can be high, especially for larger payments or businesses with low margins. They indicate that the lack of negotiation on rates and additional fees for specific services can make it expensive. Some users report that the cost of using Stripe adds up quickly, impacting their bottom line. They also mention that the pricing can be confusing and that there are no free trial options available. Despite these concerns, many users still find Stripe to be a cost-effective solution for their payment processing needs.

Because without the payment processor, there is not payment. Apps like stripe, gives you the tools to implement them in your site, easily and efficient way.

Integrating woocommerce with stripe is essential. Easy to integrate (basically built-in), and offers Apple Pay and Google Pay- which is a great feature!

Most of my clients' shops are built using WooCommerce - integrating the two is nice and simple via a plugin.

Has allowed our online store to seamlessly switch from paypal to stripe overnight when we needed it.

We easily collect the amount of money without any complication just some API configuration required.

It is the payment gateway for multiple websites I have developed using WordPress and woocommerce.

This integration is our primary reason for using Stripe, and it works without a single flaw.

That was our E-Commerce implementation method, so integration was extremely convenient.

I send customers my invoice through Xero, and they have the option to pay via Stripe. Because the accounts are connected, it makes it so easy to reconcile the payment and have the money in my account with little-to-no effort on my part.

It's crucial that Stripe can integrate with Xero invoices (in order for clients to effortlessly pay their invoices by credit card)

Allows clients to pay by card direct from their online invoice and all payments are easily reconciled.

Useful for collecting payments in a form. You can create a personalised product based on the form input, this is gold
