A program that cannot be replaced - Word

Reviewed 2 years ago

Microsoft word is a must-have for any office. It is the go-to word processor for any work. I use it for everything from emails, to presentations, to articles for my blog. I love the design of Microsoft word, and it is also very user-friendly. I love that I can use Microsoft word on my phone, tablet, and computer. I would recommend Microsoft word to anyone who needs a word processor. I consider Microsoft Word to be the most essential app in my computer. It is the platform on which I create all of my documents and letters. From the most basic documents to the most complicated, Word is always able to handle my needs. The software is easy to use and has a variety of templates that I can use for any project. It has saved me so much time by being easy to use and reliable.

Pros

The interface is easy to use and the software is reliable.

Cons

Microsoft Word is expensive. Not many people can afford it.

Microsoft Word | Is it For You?

Reviewed 2 years ago

I've been using Microsoft Word since I was a child and my father showed me how to start writing up short stories and story ideas. It was effective in my youth, and I've got many Word documents of lengthy sizes for very little overall space on my drive. While it is more powerful and stylized than most of it's competitors, it's collaboration features are infinitely weaker when compared to the accessible and free option of Google Docs. Frankly, it's price tag is far too high in comparison. When I got a new computer, I had to purchase Word. Instead of repurchasing it, I elected to go with it's free competitors.

Pros

Microsoft Word is a cleaner software than it's competitor, Google Docs. The features are a little bit more separated, it's similar to navigate and feels a bit more pleasing to the eyes to look at. It allows for powerful search functions through large documents, and has an amazing spellchecker. It is simple to navigate between documents and through lengthy documents. It is easy to customize and set up the way you like it.

Cons

I do not like the collaboration features nearly as much as I like Google Docs'. Docs is easier to use, and easier to share. Microsoft Word is also infinitely more expensive than some of it's competitors. For most people, it'll do exactly what they want, but the price tag is higher than need be. It's free (or cheaper) competitors do the same things at a lower price. I'm also not the biggest fan of how their templates are set up, and how to navigate to templates. It took me far too long to find the exact template I was looking for, and far longer to make the template exactly what I needed to work on the project.

Best Software in its kind

Reviewed 2 years ago

Rating does the best work here. On the off chance that I ought to rate my abilities with MS Word, on a scale from 0 to 10, I would give myself an 8. Sure, I've been working with the product consistently at school, while getting ready for theological college works and comparable materials. Furthermore, I accept to have a deep understanding of organizing, design, and so on. Yet, I likewise accept that there is an opportunity to get better, in all that we do, and therefore I could never give myself a dream come true regardless of whether I worked 10 hours every day with the product.

Pros

The current product they provide has been very satisfying. The email service has been operating perfectly. Dynamics CRM is the best Microsoft 365 Business is easy to use. Most companies use Microsoft Windows as an operating system, making the use of this solution straightforward. There is a small learning curve, and it is something everyone can adapt to easily. and competes well with the non-CRM products in the market, such as Salesforce.

Cons

The way that they offer a 64-digit rendition yet as a matter, of course, introduces the 32-bit variant and don't recommend introducing 64 cycles. Why offer it by any stretch of the imagination? Does a word processor truly should be 64 digits? 64-bit email client? 64-bit bookkeeping sheets?

Informe Microsoft Word

Reviewed 2 years ago

All in one tool for managing documents

Reviewed 2 years ago

Microsoft word is vast software and it is widely used. I have been using Word since 2010 and I know the potential it offers. Since Word is packed with a ton of features and all the features are not visible directly, very few will know about all of them. This leads to a problem of accessibility, since new users find it difficult to look for them.

Pros

I mainly use Microsoft word for the features 1. Writing office letters 2. Preparing official files and correspondence 3. Sharing the word documents by emails, WhatsApp and other social media. 4. Word count

Cons

1. Searching for specific tools/features is a time consuming task . For example, If I want to insert page numbers in the header, I don't know where to look for that feature. One suggestion would be to have a drop down menu listing all the tools alphabetically. Maybe if we could have an option to right click on the menu options "Insert, Design, Layout, Review.." , and all available options can be displayed in alphabetical order sequentially as a list. Which will make it easier to find the tools. 2. Word has a feature to export word to PDF, however conversion of PDF to word isn't provided. Many of the times, there is a need for me to convert PDF to word. For this purpose I have been relying on external websites.

Muy bueno para la correspondencia

Reviewed 2 years ago

Word is the "gold standard" for document creation and editing

Reviewed 2 years ago

I use office for creating and editing documents. I use the change tracking when collaborating with others. Even if others are using different editors they all seem to accept Word and can generate Word. This makes Word the gold standard for document creation and editing across platforms.

Pros

Over decades Word has provided an evolving set of features while retaining a consistent user experience across versions: going from an older version to the next newer one was an easy adjustment.

Cons

I don't have any cons for Word. It does what I need and I've not had any bad issues.

Microsoft Word - The best buddy for Documentation

Reviewed 2 years ago

My overall experience with Microsoft Word has been great. I have liked the fact that there are certain pre-built templates in Word to help prepare well-formatted documents without having to prepare them from scratch. I would recommend everyone to use Microsoft Word, since it actively monitors the Word count, identifies grammatical errors in real-time, and provides seamless usage possibilities of shapes from Powerpoint as well!

Pros

The coolest feature of Microsoft Word I have found is the headings. As a part of the Product team at ZS, I need to work on user help guides which become very bulky with lots of content. We use in-built Headers in Word to arrange our content in a hierarchical format and roll over all the content at the highest heading level. We recommend clients to open the required headings one by one as and when required, so as to avoid getting overwhelmed.

Cons

There is nothing that I dislike about Word. But I would like to recommend that on Optical Character Recognition Tool be embedded inside Word to detect text inside images. This would be helpful when searching for content in images since documents have help guides have lots of images with useful information and would help clients locate these pieces of information quicker!

The most powerful document manager ever.

Reviewed 3 years ago

Being a Lawyer, I use Microsoft Word extensively for drafting, and love it for it inclusion of every tool that may be required during document creation. Also it is extremely printer friendly out of all similar softwares.

Pros

Microsoft Word is a pioneer in document management and the most powerful and fictionally well equipped word generator and editor ever. It allows you to control each and every parameter of a document whatsoever. Yo can easily manage the page layout to your requirements, set text spacing and and space beteeen paragraphs and lines. As for text, it gives you a huge collection of fonts along with support for 3rd party fonts. You can add hyper text links, tables, graphs and photos to your document in it by clicking insert tab. Microsoft Word supports almost every document format like doc, docs, txt, rtf and many others thus you can edit a document created by other word generator without any trouble.

Cons

It has been more than a decade since I am using Microsoft Word extensively, and in the mean time I have also used other similar softwares eventually, but to me no other software has anything which is absent in it, so personally I have no complaints regarding it.

Siempre en comfort

Reviewed 2 years ago

MS Word is your document creator and controller

Reviewed 2 years ago

MS Word is a critical app for us creating and editing documents for our business, also used for communication with clients and other businesses. We have been using MS Word at our company for over 10 years.

Pros

MS Word has many great advantages such as globally recognized application making it easier to share documents with external clients even in other countries. It has a lot of features and also allows opening, editing and saving in different document formats even PDF - another globally recognized document format. Word also has some basic desktop publishing features and allows the insertion of graphics, create drawings and integrate other desktop publishing features allowing users to create very professionally looking documents. Word also has good control as to who can access a particular document, even allows password to be assigned which only the designated person can use to open a document.

Cons

Some features and not available that other document editors have, Word is our main document editor and creator application, however we do integrate other apps for additional features.

Word Processor where the possibilities are endless

Reviewed 2 years ago

Microsoft Word was one of the first applications I ever used (and definitely the first by Microsoft), and I still discover new amazing features. You can use it by yourself or with a group of other users tracking each other's changes. Help function is very useful if there is anything you cannot find, and there are hundreds of tutorials on the internet.

Pros

I use it both at home and work for documentations, reviews, CV, procedures etc. It has everything you need, and if you think its missing a functionality - search, it most likely has it as well. Bullet points, spell check, creating labels, mail merge, letter wizard, borders, headers, page numbering, combining with other Microsoft apps , templates, etc. I often receive text files in other languages, which come out looking like gibberish - Word can easily find the write decoding - and you will see the text as intended. Good communication with PDF - you can both save document as PDF, and retrieve data from else's PDF.

Cons

Price if you are a small company or an individual, but good things do not come cheap. Word has an issue if you have a document in more than one language, I resolve it by removing spellcheck.

Still the Best Tool for Documents

Reviewed 2 years ago

Microsoft Word has been the gold standard for document creation and management for years, and it is still the best tool out there. Word has created a legacy from the days of Clippy, and there's no one I know who has not heard of nor utilized Word in either their work or their day-to-day lives.

Pros

Microsoft Word has an incredibly user friendly interface to do the basics needed from a document tool - and you soon discover it offers an incredible array of features. Word offers an extensive number of templates to start your document or you can start from scratch if you prefer. You can format the page however you'd like, create and insert tables, charts, images, etc. choose from a vast array of fonts, and track changes in the document. At my job, multiple of us can view and edit the same Word document at the same time, which is fantastic for logging meeting minutes for our clients.

Cons

The only major negative to Microsoft Word is the long-standing issue of moving a table or image within a document messes up the document. The collaboration feature also has some issues that sometimes locks a section of the document from other users editing it when another user is in that section.

Utile, versatile ma adatto più per utilizzi basici

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

Overall I just enjoy using word. I use it every day for work, for so much. schedule, tables, letters, mostly Important documents but then I have also designed all my baby shower, bridal shower, party decor and signs using word!

Pros

I think because I have used word since I was in like elementary school I am a big fan of it. I have tried others like google docs and it’s just not the same. Word had made some new changes recently and I am loving them. Especially all the new fonts available!

Cons

I loved the word art category they used to have, now it’s different. It’s the same, just you have to make the changes instead of them giving you a few options for the “art”

My review of Microsoft Word for writing my assignments

Reviewed a year ago

Overall, my experience with Microsoft Word has been very positive. This software is very powerful and offers a multitude of tools for creating quality documents. Although the grammar checking feature could be improved, it remains a very useful tool for correcting spelling and grammar mistakes.

Pros

As a student in Human Resources Management, I frequently use Microsoft Word for writing my assignments and reports. What I appreciate the most about this software is the ease of use of its text formatting tools. The page layout, character formatting, and paragraph formatting features are very useful and allow for the creation of professional and clear documents in a short amount of time.

Cons

However, the grammar checking feature of Microsoft Word sometimes leaves something to be desired. Although it is a very useful tool for correcting spelling and grammar mistakes, it can sometimes be too zealous in suggesting unnecessary corrections or missing important errors.

Maximisez votre productivité dans la rédaction de vos articles de blog

Reviewed 2 years ago

Trusty But Not Rusty

Reviewed 2 years ago

Word is our go-to documentation solution, even when we are not always publishing the document in Word format. It is used for creating enriched processes, company wide communications and documents that get consumed beyond our organization's doors.

Pros

MS Word is hard to review in that it has been around so long people really take for granted all the features that have been imitated by other products but never fully duplicated, but as it stands it is still the gold standard in my opinion. The ability to easily collaborate with others in your org is simple, intuitive and something anyone can pick up with ease. Smart features have evolved greatly over the years and I enjoy the seamless integration with templates, which is a must in a large organization that uses standards to deploy documents.

Cons

Word still has some lingering text editor issues that have remarkably remained for many years. I can't count on my extremities how often Word has magically, inexplicably changed my line spacing mid document and getting things to cooperate can still be a big chore. This issue has existed for as long as I've been using the software, which at this point is approaching 30 years. Likewise, pasting things into documents from other Office Suite products still produces a lot of undesirable interactions with the text I already have there. I feel like the product should be smart enough in 2022 to know what I'm doing to eliminate a lot of the weird artifacts that get produced by copy/pasting.
