Excellent for folks who need a portal

Portal, emailing with patients, intake forms, scheduling, online self-scheduling and appointment reminders.

Pros

I needed a portal and online forms, as my EHRs portal does not allow me to pick and choose what information goes on the portal (and I need to protect adolescent confidentiality).

Cons

Otherwise, it is great for scheduling and communicating with patients. Customer support is all by email but they are very responsive and have made software changes to accomodate my needs.

I was looking for an online solution for my paperwork for a long time. Intakeq is so perfect!

This software saves me time and makes it easy to retrieve contact information and consent forms for my patients.

Pros

The price is very reasonable and is more that offset by the time I save if I had to handle printouts, scan and then file forms in compliance with HIPAA requirements.

Cons

The scheduling software is nice, but the scheduler doesn't commnicate with my google calendar or even the calendar in my practice management software.

I use IntakeQ for scheduling, appointment reminders and new patient intake forms and consents.

Pros

Scheduling, ability to connect with my google calendar, appointment reminders, ease of creating forms, ease of sending out forms, notifications when forms are completed and returned, the dashboard.

Cons

The patient documentation portal and customization don't meet my needs.

Clean and simply designed intake and patient management platform

For simple trials with simple follow-ups that the coordinators don't mind setting up, this is an extremely budget-friendly way to obtain eICFs and some ePROs (less than a hundred dollars vs minimum $5k for HIPAA-compliant SurveyMonkey).

Pros

Extremely affordable and extremely fast customer service while boasting HIPAA compliance, eSignatures, recurring forms and appointments, automated follow-up emails, and secure patient platform.

Cons

Cannot cause a notice to send to the site coordinators or doctors if a certain response is recorded. Cannot set up forms in a set schedule so that one form is sent after another at a certain time and then view this schedule (but that is fine as this was not designed for this).

Intake Q has streamlined our New client paperwork to a simple, online form that can be completed and submitted back within minutes of a patient being seen.

Pros

It has all the features that are needed for a company needing to stay HIPAA compliant in a secure manner.

Cons

It would be great if it had a point of sale aspect as well as a feature to hold electronic medical records (similar to practice fusion).

They seemed to fill out more of the form and they are completed prior to their appointment. Therefore there is no time wasted when the patient is at the office.

Pros

I can produce invoices, super bills, schedule patients, send out intake forms and complete secure documentation all in one place for a relatively low cost.

Cons

I was hoping the emailing feature would be more robust to be able to include more campaigns for things other than current patients. And the ease of use for emails is not as good as other features.

My experience doesn't matter as much as my clients' experiences: they all love the intake and consent forms going right to their email, and they love the appointment reminders (text and email.)

Pros

I use IntakeQ for everything: scheduling, billing/invoices, notes, diagnosis, Superbilling, appointment reminders, and secure communication with clients.

Cons

Initially, I was a little hesitant about the idea of having to create my own forms, but the templates provided made it super easy to tweak them to suit my needs.

Wonderful Intake System!

IntakeQ is a very great and affordable tool for the entire patient intake process!

Pros

- Very simple and easy to use - HIPPA-compliant and secure when sending and receiving information - Connected to my Google calendar making it very easy to see patient appointments on my mobile phone - Can upload ANY patient info including insurance cards and IDs

Cons

- I wish ALL alerts would be sent to my email including when a patient starts filling out their forms not just when they complete it - Making forms on your own in the beginning is very challenging and need to learn how to make the forms; definitely a learning curve with this one!

I love that we can send all forms needed to patients to fill out prior to the appointment. The ease of checkin is a huge importance to use.
