It helps you check who's out writing a command in Slack. It's a bit more handy than having to enter to BambooHR to check it, but I don't think it adds a lot of value.

Similar to Lattice, with having 3 regions in one Slack account, only one region is able to use the BambooHR integration in Slack

The Bamboo/Slack integration is not as great as I had hoped. Perhaps in the future it can be a more robust interaction.

Instead of switching apps, just receiving notifications on slack and mking it a centralised repository.

Instead of depending on email notifications, you receive alerts about new requests through Slack.

Slack is our communication platform and so its important to be made aware of.

PlanSource has a great platform, but their customer service response times are less than desirable. Our implementation was a real challenge. It could have simply been the result of the implementation manager who left PlanSource the month after we were up and running.

The integration is important because our new employees will enroll through PlanSource after being onboarded in Bamboo. Their information translates over to PlanSource seamlessly.

Benefits Admin integration is terrible. One year later and we are still having problems.

We tried it, it just adds the new hire's basic info in to the system so we didn't find much functionality or benefit there. We ended up disabling the integration because it sometimes created confusion when onboarding with the person already being in the system but with incorrect hire date (not actual contracted hire date but the date it moved in to the system) requiring editing - it was just easier to enter new hires in ourselves manually and get it set up properly the first time.

Because it doesn't work well when setting up new employees, we found it better just not to use it and re-type everything.

Lattice integration with Bamboo is critical given the employee database sync
