Factorial is a one-stop solution for all things HR. As a user, everything from my daily time-tracking to receiving payslips is handled on the platform. Our company uses factorial a lot. I love the Calendar View where I can see who in the team would be on leave during the month. It enables me to plan things ahead without having to make tens of emails. We also use it during quarterly reviews where we can fill out surveys, put our reviews for 360 feedback etc. If I need any document I don't need to look any further than the platform because all my documents are on this platform.
So far I haven't come across any major issues. I do see that the app might not be able to offer more once a company starts scaling but it is not a con for me at the moment.

Payroll summary feature that allows you to have overview of the whole payroll calculation process helped us a lot during the time we use Factorial.
Payroll management feature and the payroll summary might be the best when using Factorial. Has great features and really easy to understand the whole points. Training a new comer employee with this product helps a lot as it can show every process step by step, which we loved.
Too simple and not fast enough when navigating.

It was easy for even the most technologically challenged.
It is so easy to use. Even when an employee forgets to clock in and out, it is one login and a quick fix.
Getting to some of the employee information is kind of like looking for an Easter egg. Once, located it is easy to go back to though.

There were several aspects of Factorial that I found particularly appealing. One of the things I liked most was its comprehensive HR management features. Factorial offered a wide range of functionalities, including employee onboarding, time-off management, document management, and performance evaluations. This all-in-one platform made it convenient for businesses to centralize their HR processes and streamline their operations. Additionally, I appreciated the user-friendly interface and intuitive navigation of the software, which made it easy to navigate and utilize its various features.
There were a few aspects of Factorial that I found less favorable. One area that I liked least was the limited customization options. While the software provided a solid foundation for HR management, there were certain aspects that couldn't be customized according to specific business needs. This lack of flexibility might be a drawback for organizations requiring highly tailored HR processes or unique workflows. Offering more customization options would have allowed for a more personalized experience for different businesses.

In general it was very positive. Is one of the best HRIS I ever tried. Focused on the spanish adminsitration, is a very complete one.
All features have been implemented and improved during last years. Is a very complet HRIS for PTO, time and attendance, onboarding, task list, data base, documentation, hirings, review process, singature and other important needs
When I implemented, I had a lot of employees based in other countries. Inthat moment, it was not ready for these differences.

One of the functionality select the most is the time tracking. In Spain, it is mandatory by law to keep a daily track of attendance of all employees.With factorial, it is very easy to clock in and out with riyal times, and not some predefined timeslots.
I did not find it very easy to integrate factorial with other tools to control all the resources, like action plans, trainings, and so on.

Its simple and user-friendly UI is its USP. Also, it has a good leave tracking system.
Initially, this software didn't allow adding 2.5 days of leave into employees' accounts. But later they fixed it.

- It's really great place to engage with all employee plus to manage their track records & attendance. We can easily apply for leave application without writing big emails. - you can have working schedules & employee profiles up to date - you can manage payroll & holiday calendar + really useful place for survey

I wouldn't personally recommend but it may have improved. I wouldn't want to pay for the product.
Cheap and very budget-friendly. ok for small headcount
I used the free version before they charged for the service. It was developed outside the UK (spain) so some parts weren't translated well. It wasn't able to handle shifts and varying patterns and was very basic.

The possibility to manage all aspects of our employee in the same place and according to Spanish law.
Factorial could offer more space to upload public documents for the whole company, and the most important to organize them in different folders, like Google drive.

The "problem" that this has solved is abiding by the Spanish law implemented last year for employees to clock in daily working hours. If we get an inspection, thanks to Factorial, we Will not have any problems. It is also easy for our travelling consultants to clock in wherever they may be worldwide.
It is easy to use and as the administrator it is easy for me to see if employees are clocking in their hours and chase them if they are not. Also if one forgets to clock in one day it is easy to fill in the hours afterwards. I believe the payslips and time off work well (from a friend who uses it in his company) but we have our own system internally so I do not use this personally. Also when I have had an issue client services get back to me very quickly.
Can´t think of anything that I do not like about it.

We use to make the payrolls with a company and for me this process was terrible, was that time of the month when i really not wanted to be on. Now all this process is really easy and the communication with payroll staff is vry clear and fluid so any doubt it´s solved at the moment.
What we like the most was how easy is understand the platform and used. There´s no one who can not be able to find what they need or registered in the platform. How easily is complete the payroll process and how attent are the payroll staff. That i can use the platform for more than just one use, as example: payroll, recruitment, as documentary, to share documents with the employees, etc...
What i like least is that in the lead product that i think is the payroll i mis some usabilities as do changes directly in the payroll when are ready, like last minute changes that make the process return to scratch. Will be more easy if i can do it online. I really miss create differents document folders. I think that right now you have it but it´s a differente package.

I like how "easy to use"is the system, very clear and covers all the functionalities that we need for a HR system. Also we valuate a lot the team abscenses calendar.
The benefits side is a bit unclear, sometimes we have problems to contract health insurance.

It's a free software so I guess it does just enough for companies that can't afford a more robust solution. That said, I don't think there's anything better for free.
Being able to easily upload pay stubs, work and birthday anniversary notifications on the feed. Ability to set up different time-off types.
- impossible to integrate with other apps. - reports are very very limited, which makes the process of salary reviews or any other kind of review very difficult and impractical. - impossible to pull historical reports - impossible to customise reports - managers can't easily see their direct reports unless you set up teams - the process of terminating an employee and "re-hiring" them in the future is clunky (tenure adds up and vacation time accrues)

La solution en elle même est très complète, presque trop. Mais pas toujours facile à utiliser surtout via un smartphone. Elle est surtout extrêmement chère, ce qui nous a amené à vouloir la stopper. Dès que nous avons suspendu l'abonnement, nous avons perdu notre accès alors même qu'il nous restait 2 mois durant lesquels nous aurions du en bénéficier. L'accès aux documents déposés est devenu impossible, et pourtant nous continuons de payer. Pas la moindre réponse à nos multiples mails, et encore moins par téléphone. Honnêtement, je déconseille cet outil qui pour moi n'est pas à la hauteur de l'exigence et de la fiabilité qu'on est en droit d'attendre d'une application qui stocke des données confidentielles.
La gestion des congés qui paraissait simplifiée.
Le service clients absolument désastreux ! Lorsqu'il s'agit d'acquérir un nouveau client, ils sont très dispos ... par contre, pour le reste, impossible de les avoir au téléphone, ils ne répondent jamais aux mails et ne tiennent pas leurs engagements.

La facilidad de su software y que existen soluciones a medida para cada necesidad: reclutamiento y seguimiento de candidatos, fichaje, evaluación del desempeño y gestión de nóminas.
Algunas veces el software se cuelga y tarda unos pocos minutos en volver a funcionar.

Lo fácil e intuitivo que es de manejar, además de una interfaz muy amena y una aplicación móvil muy completa. Nos hemos cambiado para tener todo en un único programa.

Factorial nos ha ayudado a actualizar lo que veníamos usando a día de hoy. Me da la sensación que el creador o creadores de este aplicativo, han debido de sufrir las problemáticas que surgen en los departamentos de recursos humanos. La subida en masa de archivos, con detección de nombres, me parece increíble.
La facilidad de configuración de las vacaciones según donde estén ubicadas las oficinas y lo intuitiva que es. También que disponga de un muro con la información de los cumpleaños, ausencias y eventos.
Nos falta que sea una aplicación responisve. También interesaría poder crear carpetas con acceso a según que usuarios y lo mejor sería poder conocer fácilmente (desde el muro o la pestaña empleados) que compañeros tienen activado el reloj en ese momento. (con un círculo verde alrededor o la foto de perfil iluminada ...) Como nuestra empresa aplica al 100% el teletrabajo y horario flexible, esta función, ayudaría a los trabajadores a conocer si están activos sus otros compañeros.

Nuestra empresa había crecido y cuando tuvimos nuestros primeros conflictos de coordinación de vacaciones este verano, decidimos ponerle solución. Buscamos con apps de Microsoft, intentamos solucionarlo con PowerAutomate, buscamos por la red desesperadamente. Queríamos jubilar al Excel. Y por fin topamos con Factorial. Fue gracias a su ampliación de capital que nos enteramos de su existencia y pensamos...
Tiene varias funcionalidades realmente muy bien programadas: gestión de vacaciones, gestión de permisos, subida de ficheros (alucinante la división automática de pdf de nóminas por ejemplo), gestión de firma de documentos, flexibilidad de definir equipos (permite incorporar una estructura matricial), la app móvil, el onbording y la rapidez de respuesta del equipo de atención al cliente, la transparencia sobre qué se está desarrollando. Este programa lo han creado personas que saben de qué va y de qué se sufre gestionando rrhh. Además, es muy estable. Es webapp 100% y se recibe puntualmente alertas de cambios realizados.
El gráfico de vacaciones, aunque perfectamente filtrable, tiene un aspecto poco atractivo y en mi opinión no hace justicia a la magnifica programación de Factorial. Echo en falta también una solución tipo In/Out de Simple Made Apps, dónde se pueda ver fácilmente quién está y quién no.

Desde que comenzamos a utilizar el software he podido manejar un montón de cuestiones a nivel HR que de otra manera, tendría que haber realizado de manera manual y me hubiera costado mucho tiempo. Cada vez que necesito algún consejo sobre la plataforma, me lo brindan rápidamente. Me gusta recibir los newsletters con las novedades en el mundo de recursos humanos y con información acerca de procesos, y como mejorarlos.
Es una plataforma que centraliza toda la información de los trabajadores. Me ayuda a salvar mucho tiempo con el módulo de ausencias y control horario. Es súper intuitivo, y amigable. Es valorable la actualización de noticias que nos llegan por el blog y son muy interesantes.
A veces necesito pedir personalizaciones para nuestra empresa en general, pero lo veo como algo normal, y la respuesta y solución siempre es muy pronta.
