Robust system (payroll/time & attendance/benefits administration/HR/applicant tracking & onboarding) for an economical price.

Cons
Site under constant improvement to improve functionality for larger clients, but improvements still have bugs/issues. Client cannot be in the system when Paychex is working. Few employees understand the entire system and how each module interacts with one another.

What I like most about this software, is the ease of use. The support team and the organization. I would highly recommend it.

The least thing I liked about this software is the price. I find that other Apps like ADP are a little cheaper.

Paychex is very affordable and very user friendly. It was an easy system to learn to use.

This is an affordable product but we decided to switch to another software. We have grown in our number of employees and we began to notice the system would crash or be unresponsive during certain periods or it would have problems pulling payroll reports. While the system was usable and a great deal for the price we ultimately decided to spend a bit more money and get a more reliable software.

PayChex Flex allows me to manage all of our HR functions in one easy to use platform. It combines pay stubs, vacations, and benefits administrations in a simple to use dashboard.

Cons
The vacation administration module is a bit cumbersome and can use a UI makeover.

In my long search to find a good time management software, this one is pretty high on the list. It looks good and saves me a lot of time.

The price could always be lower, but I find it to be affordable for now. That's really the only downside because it functions really well.

We feel like Paychex allows us to function with the resources a larger business would have, even though we are small! It is helpful to have professionals with answer to turn to in almost any situation.

The cost - but it can't be free! And it is quite reasonably priced. Otherwise we are quite happy with it.

The people were super-nice every week when I talked to them! But it's not a very efficient system. They basically called and asked for employee hours and I read them off a list.

Not super-efficient, but at least they were reliable and cheap. They helped us get the job done!

I like the fact they require two factor authentication. Their customer service used to be good and is still decent compared to ADP. Their system can be fully customized for reports and coding purposes. Their reporting is much better than ADP

Cons
Their support has gone down hill in the last year in addition to their pricing is about 20% higher than ADP on most items. Lacks an employee portal standard on all plans

The value of the product for features offered and lack of customer service provided is unacceptable when newer offerings are available. I switched away from this service and have more features for half the price.

I like the video trainings. I think that the system also offers a plethora of awesome features that can meet all of our companies needs.

The customer service has been suboptimal - but maybe it is just our particular payroll specialist. He has actually been great mostly, it has just been difficult to get a hold of him.

This is an OK Product. Nothing that jumps out to me as extraordinary. However, If you need software for users to view their pay stubs, W2 , withholding etc. this is an OK choice.

As of the moment, I have no Cons for Paychex. Everything has been great-no complaints. I would like a lower cost (but that's with everything, they are not over priced what you get)

The system and the implementation costs are well priced. Implementation is great! The implementation managers do awesome.

Once we left implementation the level of service went down. The ease of the for managers and approvals is not intuitive.

The service is pretty good. it used to be a very simple process to run a payroll. A spreadsheet type of format to enter hours and tab over. You also used to be able to customize the fields and the order they were in.

Cons
In the fall of 2018 they changed the format of the payroll entry. Now instead of typing hours and tabbing over to the next employee, you have to click on every employees name and type in their hours. It took a 5 - 7 minute process up to almost a half hour. Not to mention Paychex's prices are almost triple what anyone else is.

The one thing I liked most about Paychex was the easy navigation and the amazing HR customer service. One of the biggest benefits that I like about Paychex is the ability to change a payroll, as payrolls are put on an automatic 15-minute hold, giving you a chance to remember what you might have forgotten.
