Nice software with lots of flexibility but every function has a cost so it isn't really plug-in-play.

Pros
There are great features and reporting and lots of flexibility for user defined components.

Cons
Price is a bit much. There are lots of things you can do with it, but every little thing comes with a price. It doesn't work well with all enterprise systems, so you can make it work, but again, for a price.

Looking to switch

Pros
It has a lot of modules. Relatively cheap. They have a mobile app that is limited. Applicant tracking is available. A lot of videos for training.

Cons
Reports are challenging Customer support and fielding is poor Ability to get labor reports are limited to check dates and limits your ability to get detailed labor.

Payroll, time and attendance for a very difficult labor allocation process, W2, ACA reporting, direct deposit

Pros
Becomes increasing more user friendly; Interfaces and special requirements for our business run smoothly. Report writer has been improved over the years and is easy to use. Love the internet based access from anywhere. Service is good.

Cons
Wish prices would be lower but it is good software. As enhancements happen, there seems to be more prices.

Reporting could be better, but outside that it's a great product especially if you have techy Employees.

Overall experience has been great. Any issues or questions we may have are quickly addressed and we have an extremely knowledgeable dedicated account specialist.

Pros
Paycom software is very easy to understand and navigate. The modules are very comprehensive in terms of available features. The reporting feature allows you to pull information in a variety of formats. And the end-user has their HR information right at their finger tips which allows for easy access and updating information convenient.

Cons
Paycom has annual price increases to the software that we use. We started with a certain price which has changed over time.

Using Paycom as an Administrator is a breeze. Easy to set up, great for reporting, payroll processing, and customer support (I have a designated representative). No more case numbers or long waiting calls. For employees, or standard users, the system is easy to navigate. The Paycom App is fantastic.

Pros
As Administrator of the system, Paycom is convenient/easy to use. The modules such as Benefits Administration, Time and Attendance, Document Management, Expense Management, Applicant Tracking, are very intuitive to use. The report writer is the best. Compared with ADP, Paycom is one of the most user-friendly HRMS out there. Customer support is great. Each account/company has a designated representative assigned.

Cons
Price. The products are wonderful, but it comes with a price. Every company/organization has its uniqueness. Finding a perfect HR software is not easy, but Paycom meets all the criteria I need.

New Leaf wanted to get a better payroll processing solution in place and Paycom delivers that in spades. The employee self service modules will make us more efficient over the long haul.

Pros
Paycom started out as a payroll processing system for New Leaf. Today we are launching the employee self service solutions that will give our agents control over their HR world at our company. The product is very easy to use and has features that cross over all areas of HR solutions.

Cons
The pricing seems on the high side but the solution does deliver on the promises that the sales people make for it. The pricing is complicated and they charge for every solution you launch.

We're currently using a free trial of Paycom, but the quality of this software leads me to believe that we'll be keeping it as our main tool for our HR department.

Pros
Tremendous Human Resources tool at a fair price. Keep track of everything from talent acquisition, time and labor management, and payroll, all in one application.

Cons
I would like to see a few minor changes like dropdown menus and quick links utilized more. Stuff to simplify navigating the software.

Since joining PAYCOM 9 years ago, we've only had wonderful experiences throughout their company

Pros
It took me a while to transfer over to technology. Once a PAYCOM rep came out to visit me & tell me about their services & how using them would add efficiency to my business, I was quick to listen. Having PAYCOM for my payroll service has not only given me time back, but helped report hours correctly. Before, I used to use my CAP to do my payroll. It required a lot of emailing, faxing, phone calls, & trips to the CAP. Those days are no longer!

Cons
I am really impressed with Platform's service, ability to customize, while keeping things affordable.

Honestly, there were no drawbacks to it, though I don’t know about customer support or pricing. I always went through the company HR department for help.

For small businesses this software is very affordable.

Pros
Paycom software is easy to use on both the employer and employee side. We enjoy the flexible options which allows us to pick and choose which programs our company will use, and we only have to pay for what we utilize. The customer service support is a great team of courteous people who truly care.

Cons
Paycom has great training videos that go over the software in depth. For quick reference it would be helpful if they incorporated some shorter, topic specific tutorials.

Paycom had a lot of tools to help on board employees, update employee files, and do payroll.

Cons
Wasn't super user friendly. There were consistent errors when uploaded our employees hours, and took many hours to complete payroll.

Pros
Ease of use. The software is very intuitive and requires very little training time before someone can begin to navigate and begin to use it effectively. This is especially important with a broad user base who doesn't use the system regularly. Also, price is very reasonable.

Cons
Features are limited so it is often very restrictive, allowing for little to no customization where needed.

We use Paycom for both our ATS and Payroll with ease. Our employees find the platform easy to use.

Pros
For Payroll, the cost of this service is better than other platforms for a business less than 200 employees. It's easy for our employees to use on their phone for clocking in and out and managers find it easy to approve time bi-weekly. For the ATS, it really cuts down on double entry throughout the recruiting process. Fairly simply user interface that really extends a user's access to their talent acquisition. Customer service has also been great with our rep coming into our office on a somewhat regular basis. You don't see that kind of attention for a software provider.

Cons
While this isn't the case for just Paycom's ATS, you are unable to manually enter a applicant into the system from the recruiter dashboard. It can only handle applicants who apply online either through a job board or your website. They offer an API but it's priced so that you can't justify it. On the Payroll side, I personally don't have any issues with the system. Maybe not having more self service tools? We use IP based time management and you have to call them directly to update those IP addresses.

The Customer support is on target. Affordability for non-profits. Training on the system is available when needed.

This has allowed us to simply our new hire onboarding dramatically. Additionally, it allows us to significantly cut down on the paperwork surrounding our employees as all forms can be electronically signed and saved in the system.

Pros
For the price, its a great alternative to the big box companies offering their HRIS platforms. Their payroll, benefits administration, documents facilitation, etc is excellent. This product is great if you are looking to pull your company out of the stone age as we have. We especially like the electronic new hire paperwork option.

Cons
Talent Management portal sometimes lacks the applicant flow over other ATS platforms. There are some quirks about the system (as all systems have it) where you can't delete duplicate profiles, limitations with dynamic access groups for managers, etc. But they are always improving.

Pros
Paycom's operates on a single database that's written in the same code - so the look and feel is exceptional. There are no issues with integrating the different modules and they all "speak" to each other in the same language. It's truly an all-in-one solution so you don't have to look elsewhere

Cons
Pricing is higher than other vendors, but they do not ever raise rates on current clients. Also, if you are from a niche industry and need specialized solutions - Paycom may not be for you since they do not integrate well with third party applications.

Overall a pretty good solution especially for a small business. Customization is available at set up, so there aren't alot of programming fees, etc. If you are OK with the limitations, could be a good solution for you.

- Customizable allows for customizable fields - Great tool for small business, because it is priced reasonably - Lots of modules that you can integrate or add on - Ability to add training and track employees who have used this system - Ability to do performance review in the system - Employees can view pay stubs, benefits elections, 401k through an easy interface

- Has their own ATS, so they aren't willing to create interfaces with other systems - So customizable that some of the end processes are clunky and don't work well

I can only compare it to what was offered before to employees. We used to be TriNet users. TriNet was very confusing that the customer service left much to desire. In contrast, Paycom is extremely simple, user friendly, and easy to manager. No complaints from employees, great customer service too!

Cons
I don't like that there are certain notifications that don't automatically go away even after they have been completed. It's annoying.

Client specialist is excellent at responding.

Beware this is a company that seems to be having some internal changes to its policies and practices. The first sign is when our sales person quit. Upper Management and local sales team members blame others instead of focusing on customer service and doing the right thing. We were absolutely "misled". Twice. We should have gone with Paylocity which was considerably less expensive but chose this company because it had excellent reviews and we were told that our price point would not change, that Paycom does not raise their prices on existing clients. Lie. Just received a notice of a 3.8% after one year. We were told price would only increase if we opted to use any future add on features they developed. We were also misled and told that what we signed on for included all the modules they offered at the time of signing. Another lie. When we went to get training on some of these features, we were told we didn't have them activated even though we provided email proof with our sales person that we were expecting to have access to these modules when we signed on. I do not trust this company. A little over a year with them and we've had two major issues where we've had the bait and switch pulled on us. Software is ok once you're trained. We've experienced payroll glitches with incorrect amounts being shown as being removed from our bank but all three times it was caught and fixed in time thankfully. I cannot recommend this company.

So easy to send over your jobs and their HR platform is perfect for your needs. All you need to do is just look to see what plan works for you and you are all set! You are in the driver seat.

We have a much better handle on our employee cost after we converted to Paycom.

Pros
Our company did a fourth quarter conversion. The data was converted effortlessly on our part. The system is very user friendly and our employees enjoy the flexibility of accessing their data on a mobile device. The managers are extremely happy with the custom reports.

Cons
We have not found anything at this point.
