convenience, and ease of use for admins or employees

At this time im not comfortable stating what i like least about the app. Only been using for a short time and am not familiar enough to say what I like or dislike of the app just yet.

We transitioned from a time tracking software that was giving us massive headaches with overtime and double time. During the free trial, we ran some tests to make sure that the OT and DOT were calculating properly and even learned a few things about how OT and DOT work. We love the Dashboard to be able to see the costs of payroll for the period and the ability to easily have multiple managers approve time. The potential that they will be able to sync this with our payroll service is also something we look forward to.

We are unable to pull reports the way that we want to. We want to be able to pull the cost allocation by the department.

Dana, thanks for taking the time to leave your review. Glad to hear that we're relieving some of the stress you had with your previous software provider. Thanks for pointing out the additional reporting requirements. Good news is that we'll be adding that in to a future release. We also continue to add new payroll integrations. We'll keep you posted on updates to both of the above.

Workyard was easy to use. Workyard is always looking for ways to improve and make their products better.

GPS was not reliable. It didn't work all the time. It would have people driving over water, houses, buildings, etc.

The most impactful thing is how using all the tool from scheduling to cost codes to time cost reports helped streamline our business. Shows us where we need to improve and where we're successful.

So far I have not learned all the tools useful to my business there are so many. I would change the easy of administrators to change things via mobile phones. Also integrating with google calendar to help block off unavailable times.

I love Workyard for the gps tracking, time tracking and payroll import. It makes my life so much easier

The only thing I don’t like about it is in some remote rural areas it doesn’t work but it does work 99% of the time.

N/A, they are coming out with a scheduling addition which will make this app the complete package.

Workyard is very user friendly when set up and maintained. Employees can switch from job to job with no down time. This makes tracking job costs a breeze.

Workyard doesn't lend itself to view all workers location at one time, I have to open each employee to find out where they are.

How easy it is to navigate website and the customer service is the best!

When the site freezes and I can't enter job numbers. Also navigating past jobs. It'll be better if we can see jobs for the whole month instead of having to go to that day.

after I started using Workyard It is so much simple to keep track of our crew hours. I can separate the cost for a job in charge every client with a GPS precision. It really is convenient and easy to use. Customer service is always fast and responsive when I need it.

I cannot think about anything right now.

Reporting is easy & functional. Tracking employees hours are super easy & we the GPS service provided is super functional.

I have no Cons about workyard! Everything is working GREAT!

The product is feature rich and has a great UI. The most critical data for the labor side of our business is literally at our fingertips. I can see when and where my people clock in and what project they are choosing. The geo tagging shows me a map of where where they traveled, time spent on the road and time spent at each location. No more guess work! Now when a GC calls I can tell them exactly where my guys are, how long they have been there or how far out they are. It has also ended the fights regarding hours and folks turning in more hours than the rest of the crew. It is saving at least 10x application cost.

The only issue we have is the integration between Workyard and our payroll software. There is a bit of double entry.

This product was simple to implement and it's ease of use really streamlined my involvement with respect to getting the time sheets to the payroll processor. We are a service business and the crews may have 5 to 12 jobs a day, With the GPS tool I cam let customers know ETAs without bothering employees with calls/texts while they are driving.

What I liked least about this product was that I had not found it sooner......

We're so glad you had a smooth experience getting started. We wish we'd met sooner, too. We're just getting started so we promise your wait was worth it.

Difficulty in correcting/ adjusting time entries, particularly when an entry was missed, without sometimes voiding other entries already made.

From first exploratory call, to demo, to set up - the team at Workyard has been great all the way! Implementation as easy, our team adapted to the system very quickly. They actually prefer it to what we had been using, much easier and data is all in one place. Notes and updates are a breeze.

Would like to have ability to not double book an associate.

Time keeping for each individual worker and reports easy to pull for payroll.

Changing time for an employee if they forget to log in. Not really sure - the supervisor uses this system more.

Someone from our support team is going to reach out to you about your concern regarding editing employee time if they forget to clock in. For now, I wanted to share that we send them reminders and provide geofence detection but we also know that there will still be times when your team simply forgets. That's why we make it easy to quickly edit a time card or even manually add one from either the mobile phone app or the desktop.

I love how accurate the time cards are. They are easy to adjust

A bit on the expensive side, especially when adding users

Workyard reminds employees to clock in and out and this has given our company more accurate time cards. The GPS feature has allowed us to better allocate time and costs to specific projects. Our company is moving throughout the day to many different job sites. The GPS feature helps us see if employee went on a job site that they employee may have forgotten to report.

When clocking in and out you have to assign your time to a project but can only charge to 1 cost code which for us means they employee has to make several entries to a lot there time when on the same job but performing different cost codes.

One app delivers all the information I need to cost the job, track employee time and deliver it to payroll.

The mapping feature does not keep up with the pace of development.

Gary! We've always dreamed of hearing that small contractors can finally get the data they need to drive profits without paying for those incredibly expensive enterprise platforms. Music to our ears that you're experiencing it.

Prior to signing up for Workyard, we were using a time clock. Workyard has given us with real time work tracking, including drive times, paid breaks, and unpaid lunch breaks. The accuracy and ease has made us so much more efficient, accurate, and professional.

At this point, really nothing. We have used this for less than 6 months so we are still learning but am beyond satisfied with what we have utilized at this point.

Like that I can access it from anywhere and check on my girls time and location.

It kicks you out once in a while when I am checking the maps.

We love the time tracking and cost code features. Very versatile and easy to use.

Don’t utilize all the features and wish there was a more tiered pricing structure for what we use.

We have been able to track our labor expenses in real time, with a cost capture that far outpaces what were previously using. I would predict that our reimbursements will increase by 20-30% before the end of the year. I love the ability for my team to transparently record their efforts and my ability to reflect that in our invoicing.

At the time of our implementation, there was no direct export to our payroll software, but I know the Workyard team is getting ready to allow access.

Time tracking of contractors/employees in the field.

Can’t separate members by groups have to do it manually with multiple pages open.

The app is so easy to navigate and the customer service is amazing. Any questions or concerns are answered asap.

All the functions I use on the app are very important in my day to day work, so I don’t necessarily not like anything.
