Pros and cons

Overall we're happy that we purchase this camera. It is budget friendly for office like us and it give high quality video and sound.
The Nextiva app is Awesome Works great. We switched to Nextiva because they offered a better price.
The quality of service is unmatched. The app is super easy to use, and keeps me organized.
With this phone service I get many "dead line" calls and spam calls. There is no filter I have found to prevent.
Poor call quality has also likely contributed to irreparable damage to our brand as customer calls are so frequently dropped or missed due to Nextiva’s problematic online platform and phone app.
Just before the porting they misinformed me about the date and and time and the porting was done without my knowledge. First week of the Nextiva phone service was terrible.

Phone system for my business

Reviewed 2 years ago

If you spend some time with support and cofiguring then it's a great product. It does require some time to get it fully configured how you want it to work.

Pros

Pricing and features was the first thing I looked at. I like how it's been able to integrate with my CRM. Their customer support has been great as well.

Cons

Took a bit of work to get it up and running from the beginning.

Vendor response

Hello, Jorge V. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We're thrilled to hear about your experience with Nextiva thus far and appreciate the feedback. Should you need anything, don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you.

Easy and efficient from initial query, to completed setup

Reviewed 16 days ago

E2E purchase and setup was a breeze. Was able to do the setup myself with chat support helping whenever I had a question. I prefer having control over all my settings, instead of relying on a support team to complete certain tasks.

Pros

Efficient communications during initial purchase. Offered solutions to fit my particular needs. Fair pricing, and no upsell. Generous discounts for hardware purchased.

Cons

So far, so good. I had a couple minor missteps during setup, but the support team was quick to help me figure it out

Amazing VOIP service provider for small business

Reviewed 2 months ago

My overall experience with nextiva has been beyond exceptional. Any time I’ve ever had an issue or technical difficulties which most of the time it was on my end I would either call my rep, which of course I forgot to mention that above when I signed up, I was assigned a representative that whenever I had any issues I give them a call directly instead of calling the one 800 number and that was amazing, I did not have to wait around. I just gave them a call and they fix my issues.

Pros

The biggest reason why I even chose a nextiva is because of the pricing options that they have along with the features of the phone service, because there are a couple services that I looked at that charge extra for a lot of the features that next Eva has included with the relatively low pricing and it is something that is definitely 100% appreciate it But this phone service helps me separate my personal and business calls on my cell phone and the best part is it makes our small company look like a multi million dollar corporation when clients call us or even if we just need to transfer them over to a different person. It sounds very professional when I tell them I need to route their call to another Line

Cons

There’s not very many cons I do think if there was anything, of course I would wish there would be a slight cheaper option but for everything that you get with nextiva and their pricing options, it’s already at a great price so there’s not really a con but I think every company would like to see cheaper and cheaper options from different providers but again no con

Highly Recommend Nextiva

Reviewed 16 days ago

From start to finish, this was the easiest transition I have ever had to do. Even my "non-techy" employees had no troubles learning it.

Pros

Ease of use. This system is easy to navigate. It has a lot of features. I like that I can park my call and pick it up somewhere else. You simple have to touch the button to the person you want to transfer it to rather than our old way which had multiple steps and we were always messing it up and losing the call. Set up was fast. My rep at Nextiva was amazing. I hardly had to do anything.

Cons

I haven't found anything yet that I don't like about this system. We all love it.

Nextiva Is Great

Reviewed 5 days ago

Overall, Nextiva has been amazing. We haven't had dropped calls, no disconnection of service due to some issue on their end. We also can do more with the phone system than the previous system we had. The phones are amazing and the system is easy to use.

Pros

I love that we can make changes on the phone system, unlike our previous VOIP vendor. Nextiva made things simple and easy.

Cons

Nothing. Nextiva is the best. There is not one thing wrong.

Good Company- Require dedicated personnel

Reviewed 17 days ago

It's been overall positive. BUT you have to followup on request and take ownership. Account Managers don't seem to be proactive or helpful, accept when adding users/licenses etc. I few them more of a sales manager that helps with super basic things.

Pros

Text function and easy navigation. Admin control is simple also.

Cons

support comes from 800# that has wait times. It's mostly self-taught which is good for some unless you wear many hats.

A Custom Solution

Reviewed 2 months ago

Nextiva gives us a dependable point of contact with our customers. They were even able to port our existing toll-free number so the switchover was invisible to clients.

Pros

I like that Nextiva tailored their plan to our needs with regards to number of seats and international calling especially. I also like the service also includes a softphone, so that I don't have to use a separate app like I've had to in the past with other services.

Cons

Everything has been very smooth so far. I don't have any real complaints.

Nextiva the Good the Bad and the Fugy

Reviewed 4 years ago

The best things about working with Nextiva are 1. Our Sales Rep . 2. Amazing! HD Call quality compared to our old VoIP Service. 3. Versatility of the software. Our Sales Rep worked his ass off for us. And had the patience of a saint with my million and one questions, and reworking the quotes to our needs over & over & over.... Over a years’ worth of questions and reworking the quote to something...

Pros

Ease of use to add and manage users in multiple cities and states remotely. Ease of adding new phones or devises Like VoIP PA Speaker in the Factory. And cordless phones as a secondary phone sharing a single Ext # with a desk phone. The old Cell Phone App. (not the new one) everyone loved this App.

Cons

1. Build Call Flow is a total Fake selling tool used to show potential customers how easy it is to configure your call flows. It’s total BS. If you call customer support to assist you in a new configuration they tell you. O that doesn’t really work anymore, we need to configure it on the back end for you. Don’t try to use it. If it’s nonfunctional don’t try to sell me on how easy it is using it.

Reliability is a cornerstone of Nextiva's service.

Reviewed 3 months ago

What truly sets Nextiva apart is its unwavering dedication to call quality. Crystal-clear voice connections and a near absence of dropped calls have become the norm. This consistency is vital for maintaining a professional image and forging strong client relationships.

Pros

Nextiva doesn't just provide a service; they deliver an entire communication ecosystem. Their extensive feature set, including auto-attendants, call forwarding, and voicemail-to-email transcription, empowers businesses of all sizes. This comprehensive suite of tools has allowed my team to work efficiently, regardless of where we are located.

Cons

I have had very little issues with Nextiva.

Worst Customer Service

Reviewed a year ago

BEWARE. Regret signing on with this carrier. Received equipment and many assurances of great customer service. Not so - needed assistance to complete set up since not so simple online and left on hold for more than 1/2 hour for chat (could not contact live agent). Then, in completing porting documentation was assured (have it in writing) on January 5 that porting would be done on January 11. Not so - porting was done later that same day, after hours with no other notice, and so now will be without ANY phone service for nearly a week - and told "with apologies" nothing could be done,. When tried to reach live responsible person "above" customer service agent, left on permanent hold. The worst business experience in my many years in business and plan to drop them as soon as possible.

Pros

Cannot say if they will provide good service and they ported me without notice and effectively left me with NO phone service for nearly a week! Customer "service - besides very long wait to reach every time - was hopeless and useless in response to my complaint. I expect to get their standard "sorry" response, but no satisfaction. And don't even try to reach management - put on perpetual "hold." Plan to disconnect asap and will be filing appropriate complaints with Authorities.

Cons

Have no idea. Just got and started and there will be NO service for week, putting me out of business for that time. Terrible.

Vendor response

Reliable phone service for our US and EU support centers

Reviewed 2 months ago
Pros

We do get good connection to the US numbers even with some of our agents being located in EU. We also didn't have many migration issues from a legacy expensive phone service providers. We migrated our 2 1-800 numbers without a problem. However we did get an issue with receiving SMS messages which was quickly fixed by support.

Cons

The new NextivaONE app is somewhat slower to the older version. Hope they can fix it soon.

Nextiva is my go-to choice for VOIP!

Reviewed 5 days ago

For over six years, Nextiva VoIP has been my go-to communication solution for my businesses. As a seasoned entrepreneur, I've utilized Nextiva across two ventures, and its consistent reliability, user-friendly interface, and comprehensive features have never ceased to impress me. If you're seeking a communication solution that seamlessly integrates into your business operations, enhances customer service, and provides valuable insights for growth, Nextiva VoIP is the answer. Its user-friendly interface, comprehensive features, and exceptional reliability make it an ideal choice for businesses of all sizes.

Pros

From the initial setup to ongoing usage, Nextiva has consistently demonstrated remarkable ease of use. The intuitive interface guides users through every step, making it effortless to navigate and manage call settings, voicemail options, and even advanced features like call forwarding and auto-attendant. Phone Routing and Auto-Attendant Nextiva's phone routing capabilities are nothing short of exceptional. The ability to seamlessly direct calls to specific departments or individuals ensures that every interaction receives prompt attention. Additionally, the auto-attendant feature is a game-changer, greeting callers with a professional touch and directing them appropriately, even during off-hours.

Cons

While Nextiva VoIP excels in many areas, it could benefit from a wider range of integration options. This would enhance its compatibility with existing business systems and streamline workflows. For instance, integrating with popular CRM platforms would allow for seamless data exchange, saving time and effort. Additionally, integration with productivity tools like Slack or Microsoft Teams would foster collaboration and improve overall operational efficiency. Expanding its integration capabilities would undoubtedly make Nextiva VoIP an even more compelling solution for businesses seeking a versatile and interconnected communication platform.

Full service coms software solutions

Reviewed 5 years ago

Overall the change went quite smoothly. I was very impressed with Nextiva’s customer service from when we first began to talk to them, through to the support team we are using for question now we are using the software. All of the staff we have dealt with were professional, friendly and helpful. I think it’s the level of service that differentiates Nextiva from other service providers with similar...

Pros

When we reached out to Nextiva, we weren’t entirely sure what level of solutions we were after. We knew our phone system needed an upgrade as it was very old and starting to get unreliable, but we weren’t convinced of the benefits of a CRM system instead of the manual customer service work flows we were using. I felt like the team at Nextiva really took the time to understand our business and help...

Cons

Implementation, while reasonably straightforward, was still quite a lot of work for our business and we underestimated how much effort it would be to get our staff to adapt. We had to train them on how to use new phones (all staff), and (for our customer service team) the new CRM system. There was plenty of support from Nextiva, but our customer service staff found it a struggle to balance the training...

Exceptional up time and support but administration is not for those inexperienced with VOIP

Reviewed a year ago

Our recent upgrade to the newest platform was very bumpy and support was contradictory to what was promised by sales. We did not have the right product mix to meet our needs and our go-live Escalation to the highest levels however was received well but still required a lot of time and technical expertise internally by our team to stabilize.

Pros

I am not the biggest Nextiva fan, however their call monitoring, call recording and analytics are helpful to managing our call center and ensuring quality service. Their support team is very knowledgeable, polite and supportive but it can take a lot of time to troubleshoot and resolve issues sometimes.

Cons

It is cumbersome to navigate and administer and often requires intervention from the Nextiva Support team. Configuration is not for easy for those not experienced in VOIP configuration. Changes are slow to update, and there are settings only Nextiva Support can correct which can be frustrating if you need to resolve an issue quickly and are at the mercy of their hold times. Configuration settings are layered by location, call flow (group), team and user so it can be tricky to track down an issue if you don't understand that. Their products are a la carte with modules for everything so finding the right product mix can be tricky as well. The lack of integration with our other systems is also an issue for us.

Vendor response

Hello, Michelle. Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We appreciate your feedback, and if there's anything we can do for you, please feel free to email us at reviews@nextiva.com and we'll make sure to have someone on our team follow up with you ASAP. Thank you!

Pros

1. What a difference a new system can make on your business. Now, phone calls are going to the right individual in their department. Before using a VoIP service, our whole system was a mess. My experience with Nextiva

Reviewed 3 months ago

In the past two years, my experience with Nextiva as my phone system has been consistently outstanding. From sales to onboarding and ongoing support, Nextiva has exceeded my expectations in service and functionality. The exceptional call quality and the convenience of both phone and desktop applications have significantly improved my communication and productivity. I'm reassured that I won't need to switch to another phone system in the future, as Nextiva has proven to be the ideal solution for my business needs.

Pros

One of the standout attributes of Nextiva is the exceptional call quality it consistently delivers. The crystal-clear communication has had a profound impact on my daily operations, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency of my business interactions. The added convenience of having both phone and desktop applications at my disposal has streamlined my daily tasks, affording me greater ease and productivity in my professional endeavors.

Cons

Fortunately, my experience with Nextiva has been quite positive. While the initial sales process was seamless, the onboarding phase presented some challenges. However, I shared my feedback with Nextiva, and they have been highly responsive in addressing our concerns.

Amazing customer service

Reviewed 5 years ago

Really positive. Very happy with how the project was managed and how the tools are working for us now that we’re live. The team has adopted the new platform pretty easily and in the day to day we have a much more efficient and seamless customer experience and communications process. Our team are happy with it and it’s taking away some of the issues we had in the past with multiple systems and systems not integrating. Duplicate efforts have been removed and managers now have a view of all the activities their team are completing making issue resolution and work load management much easier. It’s more transparent in terms of being able to see how each customer service rep is working and if there’s an issue we can see it, address and resolve it quickly.

Pros

So impressed with the way that the Nextiva team handled our launch. They really were with us every step of the way and made sure we had the resources and were able to make it a success. They walk the talk and it shows in the quality and design of the tools, as well as with the people and how they treat their customers. With tech vendors there are a lot of arrogant people that talk down to their clients,...

Cons

None. Nextiva have a reliable and cost-friendly service and they meet our particular communications needs.

Small office utilizing many features

Reviewed 3 months ago

Fantastic, supported every step of the way, endlessly customizable (my favorite), couldn't be happier working with them to keep our office running strong!

Pros

The combination of features and various integrations has made Nextiva a foundational pillar of our office. The service's reliability has been top-notch, and above all else the support team gets my highest honors. In my position I work with endless support teams, so many of which don't even seem to know the products/services they're supposed to support. Yet Nextiva's support team shocks me time and time again with how knowledgeable they are not only with their own product, but also products they integrate with.

Cons

Up until recently the desktop and mobile apps have been very lackluster, especially in comparison to the robust assortment of features offered by the platform itself. Recently though that has been improving extremely fast, and I have no doubt by the end of the year I'll have no Cons left to list.
