Pros
The price is was got me first, they are cheaper than other guys ou there, but I guess at the end of the day you get what you pay for

Cons
Support is so lame. After that my webinar crashed 3 times losing participants, despite having optimal connexion (They tend to blame user's connexion when faulty..). I sent a ticket to support and they came back the next days asking me more information and I replied with the information needed. Since then, more than a week went by with no news, no replies to my emails, they are just ignoring me. I needed to know what was the caused of the malfunction to trust their software again in the next few weeks but now I just can't trust them or their product. I'll invite people to think twice before using Webinar Jam and look at their competition if support is something that matters to you.

WebinarJam has been okay overall. I rarely have technical issues, but some of the cons are BIG issues for me and have our company researching new platforms. We've had to add a second account to overcome some of these problems, and now we are looking at a third which has prompted our look for a platform that can meet our needs.

Pros
WebinarJam is easy to use from an attendee perspective. The pre-formatted landing pages are fantastic. The pricing is very affordable. I like that you can share handouts with attendees during the presentation.

Cons
There are multiple things that I dislike. Tech support is slow when you experience an issue and timeliness when you have issues with a webinar is extremely important. I don't like that I don't have the option to allow late attendees on WebinarJam like I do for EverWebinar - which creates a host of problems when you work with doctors who often run late due to patients. My attendees don't have the ability to fast forward or rewind the recordings which means I have the additional step of downloading the recording and then uploading the recording to YouTube. I really dislike the 30 minute wait between webinars, which is a scheduling nightmare in an of itself. When I originally signed up for WJ there were no limits to the number of attendees and now there are... which stinks. I'd also love the ability to add more registration options, not just name, phone, email...

Pros
I tried out several webinar companies when I was launching my online business. My consultant recommended it. I only did the trial but it seemed very user friendly from both the setup and user end. I have personally attended many webinars using this software.

Cons
The reason I didn't ultimately go with this platform is because of the price. I was just starting out and there were other options that were free or much less expensive.

Pros
WebinarJam has definitely grown up. Now that it has its own network and has nothing to do with Google Hangouts, and YouTube is an option, not a necessity, it's become super simple and robust. I love how easy it is to add presenters on the fly, to inject video, insert offers, and the new whiteboard is fun and useful. The interface is beautiful and works great. The system is stable and reliable. I like that it doesn't matter what browsers my attendees use. They can watch on desktops, laptops, pads, even phones. They don't have to download anything. And the price is just ridiculously cheap. It's seriously "forget I paid it" money.

Cons
There were lots of things that kept me from being a fully satisfied WebinarJam Studio customer. Google, YouTube, the initial setup complexity. All that's fixed. This new app is just about perfect.

I use WebinarJam for my bi-monthly "Tele-Conferences" (http://galacticjourney.org/tag/tele-conference/) These are virtual panels that allow me to present Galactic Journey seminars/Q&A sessions like we do at conventions, but without having to go anywhere.

Pros
The best part about WebinarJam is the flexibility. I bring Presenters in on the fly, add videos and polls during events. It's awesome. Attendees can tune in on any device, with any browser, from anywhere in the world. And WebinarJam is cheaper than any comparable solution on the market.

Cons
Until the new version, I didn't like that WebinarJam depended on Google Hangouts or the super long delay. Hangouts went down all the time, and it was difficult to configure. The new Jam doesn't use Hangouts, and it is super simple and bulletproof. I've never had a problem with my events.

It provides a lot of features in a single product for a fair price. I can recommend it if you are just starting in webinars.

Pros
It's a complete solution if you need to organize a webinar. It provides landing pages for registration, thank you page and one for users waiting for the webinar. It allows you to send email reminders and provides automated replay to send after the event. It gives you an option to integrate with third party services. During the event it allows you to display slides and offers. And it allows you to have multiple hosts on a single event.

Cons
The quality. It's the number one complaint from my audience. Both sound and video quality is far from perfect. Event though it supports streaming to youtube, the video and sound is highly compressed.

Pros
1. Competitive price for what you get in return. 2. Easy to use. 3. It has the most important tools to make a good webinar.

Cons
1. The quality of the replays is very bad. This has forced us to have to record the webinars ourselves to obtain a better video quality. 2. The email notification tool is spamy. 2. The integration tools for sending emails are very limited unless we use zappier and even then this solution is not satisfactory for us. Ideally, your API should have an integrated module for sending notifications. This would make it much easier to integrate it with the legacy application that we unfortunately have to continue working with.

Positive review after we paid the full price! The Dollar free-bee was a let-down and almost resulted in us not purchasing the full meal deal

Pros
Ease and sharing of screens for multiple speakers, the ease of set-up, live chat room and the ability to add people from the Chat room to become a speaker.

Cons
A Customer Support phone number is much needed. Trying to type what your problem is, is time-consuming and takes too long for a busy office, especially when an answer is needed in minutes. I almost canceled due to this problem. Also...be sure to clearly inform new users during their 1$ trial period what the step-by-step process is to accomplish a Webinar for the first time. A bullet-point checklist works great (a cheat sheet). Need clear instructions after registration!

None. Just lots of wasted time and money.

Pros
We were attracted to Webinarjam because of the perceived value it offered against alternative providers.

Cons
It relies heavily on third party platforms (YouTube) and your YouTube channel must have at least 10,000 views to become enabled for Monetization which is a precondition to Webinarjam working correctly. Sadly we don't have 10,000 and after two months of applying with YouTube we are yet to be approved for Monetization. As the webinar is live streamed it also requires significant bandwidth. We have a good internet connection that works wonderfully with all of our other cloud solutions, but it isn't sufficient enough to run Webinarjam without major crashing issues. We run live Question & Answer webinars which don't work well with Webinarjam as there is a significant delay between the Presenter speaking and the Attendee hearing - it makes for really stunted conversation between both parties. This may not be an issue for one-way webinars, but ours are interactive and the delay is a significant an unavoidable by-product of their streaming set-up. We were drawn to the price tag in comparison to other providers, but we've learned you really do get what you pay for. After two months of numerous attempts and numerous consultations with Webinarjam we have been unable to run even one successful webinar. On this basis we asked for a refund and Webinarjam refused as it was outside their 30 day refund policy window.

Run, don't walk, from this!

Pros
The feature set (video play-back, bringing guests on to speak, etc) would have been amazing... if they had worked. The price would have been fair... if it had worked.

Cons
Firstly, as a user: lag between presenter and attendee audio and video is 30 SECONDS!! Worse, the lag varies from other channels of communication (whiteboard is 10-15 seconds, chat is 1-3 seconds), meaning that different threads arrived at the attendees out of sync - whiteboard doodles would arrive 10 seconds later than they should have compared to the material they referred to. Video playback for attendees was about 10% slower than for the host, but the cut-off wasn't similarly delayed, meaning attendees were cut off 2min before the end of a 24min video playback. A colleague also tried Webinarjam, and his video playback kept jamming, crashing, restarting, forcing him to move to a different platform... very embarassing! Secondly, when I wrote to Support to ask for guidance... I got.... crickets. Thirdly, when I went to cancel, the process was so obscure and complicated that you have to watch an instructional video!!

Pros
Easy to use. Full featured, although many features behind a in-app paywall.

Cons
Half a minute lag in Europe makes it impossible to interact with audience. Upselling, cross selling. A product so commercial it starts to feel cheap. Trial program automatically becomes a paid subscription; targets companies that forget that. Considering the fact that it's not very useful with half a minute delay, I think that webinar jam has a decent amount of idle subscriptions.

Review Source: Capterra

Overall WebinarJam was a decent software, if a bit overpriced. But it worked well for what I needed and for that I must give them credit. In my opinion, there are other products on the market that can give you what you need at a better price point.

Pros
I used WebinarJam for about 3 years when I first launched my website. Someone whose site I admired recommended them, so I signed up. At the time I was using Google Hangouts and their solution (an overlay over Google Hangouts) was a perfect fit. It gave me analytics for my Hangout and I could track who attended and who signed up but didn't show.

Cons
My least favorite part of the software was the price. I always thought I was paying far too much for what I was receiving. And when YouTube Live became a thing I jumped ship and haven't looked back. The person who recommended WebinarJam still uses the software. I don't get the appeal.

Looking for an affordable but reliable way to provide LIVE webinars, WebinarJam did not perform as expected.

Pros
Made the decision of trying it after reviewing expert videos and websites like Capterra recommending it. I consult for a non-profit with limited budget and as many others, are in need of remote tools to deliver their messages. I am NOT in the business of selling fake guru trainings, I need a solid, professional platform to educate a demanding audience that attend free sessions. I hoped WebinarJam was the solution of my problems but the trial was unsuccessful.

Cons
Registration fields are very limited (e.g. we would love to request company name), confirmation emails work unreliably, interface is cumbersome and counter-intuitive (especially for attendees), if you upload the slides they lose the animation, we tried many times to share our powerpoint screen with little success. This is VERY frustrating and for us, it was unacceptable. It's probably better for pre-recorded webinars but I don't recommend it for Live Webinars. Avoid embarrasment! Customer service is really slow but I want to attribute it to COVID-19.
