Super inexpensive way to get a mobile friendly site.
I chose Duda because of how easy to use it is. I was able to set up my website in less than a week even though I'm not the most computer-savvy person. It is also very reasonably priced.

Best site builder for Agencies

Reviewed 5 years ago

We've built over 100 sites on the platform and it's been a very reliable tool. My main complaint is that the white label features are not powerful enough for me to offer their builder as a standalone tool for my clients.

Pros

I love the White Label features and how quickly I can launch sites with Duda

Cons

I wish that the per site cost would be much cheaper for reseller. It makes it hard to compete with our platforms that are essentially the same price when we still have to add our markups

Duda, not for the end user but for Agencies or companies that give away sites.

Reviewed 2 years ago

It was good but we had to change platform so we migrated out of Duda because of their pricing structure.

Pros

This is a straightforward easy to use solution that is tailored to create fast websites with minimum effort.

Cons

It's very expensive since you have to buy website packages, their model is they wholesale websites and you as an agency resell them and build them and charge. So it's not a platform for a single website for an end user. if you go that way, there are better options out there. Also their template library is somewhat limited.

Absolute best feature set and security while still functional and affordable

Reviewed 5 years ago

With Duda, I'm able to provide my clients with a scalable website hosting platform that is mobile and SEO friendly. It still allows me plenty of options for custom configuration when and if necessary. The pricing allows me to get small to medium businesses up and running with very little overhead.

Pros

The ease of use and the fact the platform is kept updated and secure without intervention from me. They are also implementing leading edge technology allowing me to compete with much larger hosting companies that have a lot of overhead resulting in increased charges.

Cons

Blogging and eCommerce platforms are better served by dedicated platforms. True turnkey seamless onboarding of customers would be nice.

"Duda: The Perfect Website Builder for Agencies and Freelancers Alike"

Reviewed a year ago

Overall, Duda is a fantastic website builder that provides a wide range of customization and design features. Anyone, even those with little to no coding experience, can easily create a website that looks professional thanks to its user-friendly drag-and-drop interface. The platform also provides a number of useful tools for businesses and independent contractors, like the capacity to store and distribute...

Pros

In terms of pros, Duda offers a variety of useful features for freelancers and agencies, including a wealth of design options and the capacity to quickly and easily build and customize a website. The platform also boasts top-notch security, storage, and speed experts who guarantee that users' websites will be up and running normally despite technical difficulties. Additionally, users can be reassured that other well-known brands are probably dealing with the same problem if their website crashes while using Duda, meaning that it will probably be fixed quickly. The only possible drawback to using Duda is that it has slightly higher prices than some rivals. However, this seems like a fair price to pay given the product's quality and the variety of features it offers.

Cons

A number of design features are available through the well-liked website builder Duda, but it also has some significant drawbacks that users should be aware of before choosing a plan. First off, the monthly cost for the cheapest plan with Duda is $14 when paid for annually, which is on the pricey side. For those with limited resources or those just beginning their online presence, this may be a steep...

Duda super easy to use not so easy on the pocket book

Reviewed 2 years ago

Super easy to use, but lack of apps and costly upgrades forced us to look elsewhere

Pros

The drag and drop was hands down our initial draw, real time edits, customization all things that sucked us in.

Cons

Right up front the cost, no free plan, so we lost money trying, the other issue was apps at the time there was only wix and weebly and Duda was limited in this respect

Duda is a pleasant surprise!

Reviewed 4 years ago

Probably about the best low-code website builder we've used -- we haven't had time to test it's form gathering or CMS capabilities -- the HTML editor is perhaps only matched by Versoly. The learning curve is also much better than Webflow with comparable results.

Pros

We accidentally discovered Duda while researching low-code platforms, as it is mostly targeted to use by marketing agencies -- it's a very pleasant low-code platform -- fast, clean, productive.

Cons

A subtlety that most others would miss -- we index websites, and the means by which Duda publishes text content and image content makes it harder to index than sites built on platforms such as WordPress.

Excellent product!

Reviewed 5 years ago

Our overall experience with Duda has been amazing. It is a great product and a great value for the price. We will continue to use it in the future!

Pros

This software is extremely easy to use and very intuitive. We had our first website up and running in minutes! The offering of widgets, templates and sections makes it very easy to create a stunning responsive website. Customer service is very knowledgeable and good at pinpointing the issue for quick resolution.

Cons

I would like to see more integration with different social platforms such as Pinterest, Instagram and Google My Business.

A CMS that is getting better and better

Reviewed 2 years ago
Pros

You don't need to know code in order to create amazing websites. Drag and drop editor is great. Marketing features are integrated such as Google Shopping, Amazon, Social Commerce and many others. New features are frequently released.

Cons

It isn't suitable for big e-commerce projects, in terms of price rules, customization of product page and many other features. However they are currently developing a new shop that should be released soon

Duda Platform

Pros

Easy to use and affordable - Building sites are simple with this platform. No plug-ins to update, no themes to update which makes sites easier to manage. They also use Amazon web hosting which helps with site speed.

Cons

Sometimes run into little quirks when building sites but nothing that is not fixable. The Blog portion could use some updating but works.

Finally!

Reviewed 5 years ago

We're a small branding and marketing company and we don't usually have super large budgets to design, develop and deliver websites. Duda helps us do that with very little complexity. It's a streamlined platform that delivers the punch and impact of more complex environments but without all of the junk that no one really needs or wants. The ease of implementation makes it possible for us to be more efficient and cost-effective on website builds.

Pros

Duda is an incredibly easy platform to work with and produce really solid websites and engaging experiences. I've worked on Wordpress (always hated it), Joomla, Drupal, Kentico, DotNet Nuke, and other platforms, but Duda is the ONLY platform I have found that makes it incredibly easy to go from design to live site with so little friction. The WYSIWYG ease of implementation has increased our profitability and productivity. It's an awesome platform and I highly recommend you check it out. You will be glad you did.

Cons

The toughest thing about using Duda is that clients and prospective clients these days ask what platform you're going to build in and since so many have heard of Wordpress it take a lot to get them to feel comfortable with the switch to Duda. Once I walk them through the back end to demonstrate the CMS they usually have an "Aha!" moment and get on board.

Used the platform for over 4 years, and still being disappointed with every update.

Reviewed 5 years ago

Awful. But I'm honestly just not sure of viable alternatives. After using the platform for the past 4 years as an end user for my own, and for my partner's businesses, I'd really like to expand and provide a full web and digital agency offering. In terms of websites, this is totally duda's thing. Custom and white-labelled branding for the editor and site stat reports is a very nice touch and makes...

Pros

[Quick note before I start - I've used the platform since February 2015]. There are absolutely some pros to using duda. This isn't going to be a totally negative review. But this needs to be a massive eye opener for the team so they can understand in what areas they are failing their customers. First up, as a simple WYSIWYG editor, Duda isn't doing a bad job. Trouble is, in today's market this is...

Cons

As mentioned above, I've used Duda for over 4 years, since February 2015, so make no mistake - I know this platform inside and out. First of all... eCommerce. This is by far and away probably the worst part of the platform. Duda has a longstanding integration with eCommerce platform Ecwid. On the whole, the Ecwid platform is very good - the issue is, is that the integration you get with Duda, is not...

Website Design Made Easy!

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall, I have very much enjoyed working within Duda for basic websites to e-commerce websites built using Ecwid within Duda. The optimization and security make Duda a better choice for me than WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace. I have compared sites built between these platforms and the Duda websites outperform the others.

Pros

I am not a coder, so I find Duda, to be very helpful in designing unique and creative websites. Their pre-built templates help me figure out how to design creative aspects while using a drag-and-drop builder. The extra bonus is that even though I am not a coder, with support's help, I have been able to get into the code and manually change some CSS when necessary to get things to look and function as I wanted.

Cons

I am very happy with the product but if I were to have any negative things, I have had to use 3rd party widgets to accomplish what I/my client wanted. Such as Jotform to allow payment within forms. It is very easy to integrate and it works well with Duda but it is an extra cost for my client by using 3rd party widgets. This isn't a make-a-break for me but it is a small hindrance when I have to tell people we have to use multiple software to complete their website goals.

For me, Duda is the easiest CMS out there

Reviewed 2 months ago

I have no regrets using it for the past 9 years and will continue to do so. I will continue developing websites and templates and as well as cool widgets.

Pros

Duda for the past 10 years has added new features in the CMS, it's easy to build out a website as they have numerous templates. You can build your widgets if you have a developer like me and achieve custom behaviours in a website by using technical workarounds. All seo settings are grouped in the left sidebar as well as the other options that will help you make your site go live. I've been using Duda for the past 9 years and I'm still using it together with my clients. There's nothing out there that beats simplicity and usability of Duda.

Cons

What I don't like is their plan pricing. Before it was affordable to other agencies, but their prices bumped up. Sometimes, simple bugs pop up, but that's udnerstandable as they are improving the system.

Duda is a Perfect Web Site Platform for Small to Medium Businesses

Reviewed 4 years ago

Providing affordable SEO optimized responsive websites for solopreneurs.

Pros

The combination of predefined templates, super easy editing, and flexibility to extend the functionality with HTML and widget editors make for a powerful web development and hosting platform that's ideal for most small and medium businesses.

Cons

Limited options for only including videos from 3rd party hosts. It would be nice to have greater control over thumbnails and end-screens rather than be subject to YouTube's restrictions. As the importance of video grows, the impact of this limitation also grows.

Modern, easy to use drag n drop builder

Reviewed 3 years ago

Overall I am enjoying my experience with Duda, building modern and responsive and good-looking websites has never been easier - or quicker.

Pros

I am using it under the Whitelabel Snapps.ai. What I like most about it is how easy it is to use - it's a website builder for idiots. Also, in comparison to Weebly, it is an absolute dream in terms of speed and customisability. I also appreciate the inbuilt SEO.

Cons

I least like the pricing with Snapps - compared to its counterparts, it is quite expensive. Especially if you have an agency where you own multiple websites, the costs can add up quite quickly, whereas if you built the same sites on something like WP it is essentially free.

Duda is all I use now!

Reviewed 5 years ago

Per my previous comments, I am building high-quality sites in less time. This benefits my clients and also helps to grow my business.

Pros

I like the ease of use. I believe it allows me to build great sites with excellent functionality in a lot less time than the tools I formerly used. This allows me to provide a more affordable service to my clients. As a 5-year White Label partner I get grade person to person support whenever I call with an issue or problem. In short, I am fully sold on the Duda product.

Cons

The first few years that I used the Duda product I encountered fairly frequent bugs and frustrations with things that either didn't work as expected or unavailable capabilities that I needed. In the past several years, however, the product has evolved to the point where I rarely encounter such issues.

Almost 10 Years Building Sites, Nothing Like Duda Yet

Reviewed 5 years ago

Now I am a teacher of Computer Science and working my business in digital marketing for almost 10 years now. Able to use Duda as an apprenticeship tool for my student to work on real life project and earn money almost immediately has been unbelievable. I couldn't learn all on Wordpress talk less of teaching student to build website. However, since most people are used to Word processing and PowerPoint tools, it seems like they're using the same tools but only this time professionally in terms of rendering a service.

Pros

It is ridiculously easy to use. Thought a client under 20 minutes to update their contents to the site under my whitelabel platform. The value for money is incredible.

Cons

If possible, without compromising what it is now, add some features like colour picker, user login features, etc., emerging social media feeds like Instagram, FB etc.

We're so happy with Duda!

Reviewed 5 years ago

We save a lot of time, both at support and at production and design. We also have access to a support department that always resolves our issues. Our company has become more efficient, and we are now able to compete better than before.

Pros

We enjoy that Duda has a lot of powerful features, easy and accessible support and that we are getting new features often. It's easy to use for our clients, and our designers enjoy the ease of Duda compared to other platforms. We moved to Duda from Weebly with all of our clients about 18 months ago, and we are happy we did.

Cons

We would love the program to be translated into Norwegian, which is the worst for us right now. We would also like the invoices to be more specific, as well as we think the price is a little steep for a small agency. However - we find the service so valuable to us, that we think it's OK.

I can get slick beautiful websites with a nice backend and a great support staff which is wonderful. The SSL is included in the price. Great agency website solution

Reviewed 5 years ago

We chose Duda to replace Squarespace websites as a faster, lower-cost option compared to WordPress. It's been great for us and has allowed us to very quickly create professional websites without any of the overhead work or maintenance of WordPress. Much more flexible and powerful than Squarespace or Wix, easy to white label, easy to train clients on.

Pros

It's built for an agency's needs: easy to use for clients, fast to work in for designers, has the ability to edit the actual code easily if necessary, and is built decently for SEO. There are plenty of good starter templates and everything is very customizable.

Cons

The templates are basically built with 5 breakpoints and if your device isn't in one of those, it might look a bit off and there's nothing you can do about it. I think the builder also generates quite messy CSS but that tends to be the case with WYSIWYG like this. The form builder could be greatly improved as well.

Cheap website builder with many limitations and flaws

Reviewed 5 years ago

Good value for money if you want to build very simple websites.

Pros

The drag-and-drop widgets make it easy to build a website. Publishing and maintaining a website is very easy. Built-in stock photo and icon catalogues are a big plus. Overall a good value for money.

Cons

Most of the pre-designed widgets and sections are useless if you want a homogeneously website, because they override the global css. New features are published too early, when they still don't work properly. Technical bugs appear quite often.
