“When compared to the previous signage display application in use, Optisigns is incredibly flexible and offers many template layouts, preset layouts, and easily created layouts. We were quite limited to 2 layouts with the previous application, but Optisigns is quite versatile with so many templates, free form options, and already made suggested designs. The layout and designed options available with Optisigns is what definitely sets this application apart from the previously used application. ”

“Of the products that we evaluated, Optisigns has by far the best UI. It's pleasant to work it. For screen layouts, Optisigns has an excellent tool for split screens and customized layouts with multiple apps and plugins on each screen. ”

User opinions about OptiSigns price and value

Value for money rating:

Of 704 reviews that provide robust commentary on OptiSigns's price and value, 86% mention it in a positive light.

Most users consider OptiSigns to offer strong value for money, highlighting its affordable pricing relative to the wide range of features included, such as cloud management, playlists, scheduling, and Office 365 integration. Most reviewers indicate that the ability to use inexpensive hardware like Amazon Firesticks or Raspberry Pi devices, combined with a flexible cloud subscription model, helps keep costs low for both small and large businesses. They appreciate the per-screen pricing, lack of minimum commitments, and the availability of free trials with full functionality, which allow them to test the platform before committing. Users think the included templates and apps make it easy to deliver high-quality content without additional expenses, and some report significant cost savings compared to printing or more expensive competitors. Some reviewers find that discounts for non-profits and educational institutions are beneficial, though a few wish for deeper discounts or sliding scales for multi-screen deployments. Some users say the pricing structure can be confusing or steep for very small businesses, non-profits, or those with many screens, and they note that shipping costs for hardware can be high in certain regions. Some reviewers feel that the storage limitations and lack of clear information about them detract from the overall value.

Canva houses all of our content -- being able to connect directly to Canva is helpful. HOWEVER it would be greatly improved if animations/effects & videos would directly translate. As it is, I have to download as an mp4 & then upload to OptiSigns. :(

I love how I can easily design a fantastic-looking slide in canva, decide on the duration of the video or PNG and easily upload to OptiSigns! It makes management of our campus wide slides REALLY easy.

We make a lot of our menus and promos on Canva. it is great that I can easily move my designs to Optisigns and display immediately.

Sometimes I create content in Canva and import to my signs. I’ve also used Canva to make videos and animations for my boards.

Canva provides templates as well, so I often use theirs when I have already used all relevant templates provided by OptiSigns

It’s very easy to make basic branded templates using Canva, then import them to OptiSigns for final touches and publish!

Instead of exporting designs from Canva and uploading to Optisigns, it can all be done in the same place.

It is our main source for creating our signage. I feel like its what sealed the deal in picking Optisigns

I design 95% of screens in Canva. I love their templates and access to royalty free images and videos

It’s critical because we make a lot of banners and we need to seamlessly add them over to Optisigns.

We already used Canva for all of our designs so it was great to not have to recreate anything

The ability to easily change the dimensions of graphics we are using in other communications.

All of our creative is done in Canva and exported to other programs like OptiSigns.

I use it a lot already at the company so it's nice to have another use for it

In addition to cycling through our actual video content, we needed to be able to showcase our social media content, and the Instagram integration is working beautifully.

We want to be able to share updates without having to recreate them for Optisigns. The integration only pulls in very old posts.

Because our customers can share their IG stories with us and it, in return, helps promote the vibe of my Cigar Bar.

it keeps everyone informed with out social media and the workers get to see more pictures of themselves

Works amazingly. Easy to set-up and looks amazing on both portrait and landscape screens.

Connectivity issues from time to time but nothing that can't be fixed relatively easily.

This is the first integration we’ve set up, but we’re definitely excited to explore more. So far, we’ve been able to share live sales reports across all our sites, and having that real-time data is a game changer!

We need to show caller analytics on our displays and it is important to make sure it works all of the time.

It hasn't been approved with our security systems yet. Power BI Licensing costs will be annoying.

It is important for our company to share updated sales numbers to in our Sales teams office.

This is how we share information across departments. There isn't a good way to share the notes on each event.

The display our our daily calendar was the most important data point for our Church's choice of OptiSigns.

I need to display shared calendars and I can share the slides, or embed specific views.

Showing the video to our clients that we create not only helps us get useful information to them but also highlights our skills with video.

The company uploads content onto YouTube platform and was important for us to be able to showcase these videos at our reception.

With google Data studio you have raw data converted into a powerful dashboard, report or analytics. Users don´t usually sit on their desks, log in to a tool, navigate to a report and analyze... with optisigns all the information relevant is automatically syncquing and rolling over for a few seconds... Just with 3 minutes of watching a screen, an executives gets a very deep sense of their business performance.
