Awful. If I could count on one hand the number of times I have screamed at my monitor seeing a response from my account manager, support; practically anyone at this organization. We were told we would pay 1x PCR fee per transaction by pricing analysts; and when it turned out that the architecture they recommended produces over 2 PCR requests per transactions? That even failed transactions are billable?...

Excellent platform. My developers are very happy, my clients are happy.

Excelent E-Commerce Payment Processor - Outstanding Security!

Very happy with the Stripe platform and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.

Pros

Stripe has an excellent product, that integrates with our WooCommerce store seamlessly. The features are robust, which includes outstanding security to detect and block fraudulent transaction attempts. Since switching to Stripe and adjusting our security settings, we have not had 1 chargeback or fraudulent charge!

Cons

2.9% + 30¢ per successful card charge ads up. The pricing is well aligned with the industry, but it could always be cheaper, as volume heavy transactions add up quickly!

Stripe Makes Selling Your Products So Easy!

It was honestly so easy for me to get approved, and I was going through financial issues at the time when I applied and they never held that against me. They gave me a chance and because of Stripe I've been able have my own website, selling my own products and courses, without ever having to send my leads off my website to pay for their purchases through another online processor, like PayPal for example. You lose leads every time you add an additional step for your prospects to take, so using Stripe has therefore increased my conversions. And it's trustworthy, so my buyers feel safe. That's very important to me! Thank-you Stripe!

Pros

How easy it was to apply and get my account set up and running. I love being able to have my own payment processor on my website and not have to always send my buyers to PayPal to make their payments. Every time you have to send someone off your page you lower your chances of the buyer taking action.

Cons

There is really nothing I don't like about Stripe, maybe to have a lower cost but really they are helping me make money so who am I to complain when they were so easy for me to get set up!

Top choice for small business

I am overall satisfied with stripe for processing payment of my invoices but I know they could help me integrate it better into my website if they wanted more business .

Pros

Fast and easy online setup no credit checks or bank involvement like in the past when it had to be done through your bank works fast and does cost the earth .

Cons

Cant use on my website without specialist knowledge if they could make it easier to install payment gateways for novices I would not have to use PayPal for this .

I was the target of fraud and stripe could care less

Horrible. It cost us so much money. It was a waste of time, money, product and resources to contest chargebacks, cancel orders, return money and deal with legitimate customers since using this product. We though lower fees would save us money, but boy were we wrong. This is the single biggest regret since I started my business.

Pros

It is easy to use. Fast to set up and you can start receiving payments right away.

Cons

Like it says in the title. I was the victim of fraud big time. Stripe let a ton of sales through even though we had the fraud settings on the highest level. We lost the product, the money in the account was taken out and stripe charged us a fee for every chargeback we received. We were never able to contact stripe: it was automated massages after automated messages. Their only solution was: give us more money in the form of a service called "fraud radar" but you had to manually review each payment with meaningless tools that didn't work and they didn't guarantee anything.

Stripe Simplifies Transactions and Maintains Security

My business needed an improved, cost effective payment system, that was easy to use and seamless for customers, and Stripe provides that. What's more, the odd time I've needed to reach out to support, they've been very helpful. I can't think of the last time there was a challenge, it's been several years now, and things are running smoothly.

Pros

I like that Stripe can grow with my business as they have robust services I can add later. I find it's easy to use, and was easy to set up (there were a lot of guides when I needed them). The odd time I've had to reach out to support, the experience was stellar. Above all... The best aspects for by business were the reliability, payment experience (for customers) and that Stripe provides better value for money.

Cons

While the setup was easy, it does require some technical understanding (and there are a lot of guides available - As well their support is great). Some people might not like that Stripe avoids high risk industries.

Cons

As many people have mentioned - they just refund customers saying its fraudulent when they are not - for a small business it hurts - its not safe to use - they do not check CVC numbers are correct you have to pay extra for that - very hard to set it up - only marginally cheaper than paypal. Takes 4 business days for payments to clear - ouch. Overall for the seller - this is a terrible product - to complicated to set up - hidden costs and they just flag failed CVC numbers as fraudulent because they dont use them being correct as a criteria - that feels like a scam to me

Industry Standard Payment Processing Platform

Stripe's capabilities for online transactioning is considerably useful to me and it has helped me with thousands of sales online. I have integrated the platform with my festival's website and used it for ticketing and merchandising services which assisted in operating the event and brand for a number of years. I'd likely recommend their services to other entrepreneurs.

Pros

One of the better means of processing transactions and payments digitally, that's widely accepted by a variety of business owners. Integrateable in many different web development platforms, Stripe makes it easy for people to order items and services online while simultaneously making it easy for sellers to provide their items and services to people via the internet.

Cons

Obviously to a certain degree their payment percentages could be lower, however it would depend on whether or not credit card transaction fees are low enough to facilitate Stripe's ability to lower any fees they might have.

Our procedure for collecting payments has been significantly streamlined thanks to Stripe, an excellent payment processing provider. With its help, we are able to give our users more services and features while also smoothly accepting money from them for regular usage. Stripe's thorough documentation was crucial to a seamless integration into our current infrastructure. Additionally, we value how Stripe makes it possible for us to process credit/debit card payments similarly to a conventional point-of-sale (POS) system, making it user-friendly for clients. The thorough reports that Stripe offers have been invaluable in helping us analyze our business and make strategic decisions that would spur growth and boost income.

Pros

If you want to use invoicing and subscription software, you may use Stripe, or if you're a geek, you can easily design your own system that is PCI compliant. The majority of things have integration options, and if for some reason you run into a difficulty, you can log into the dashboard and typically solve it there. If not, they offer excellent support materials and even a chat option. You even make a small savings in comparison to comparable competitors. Their ACH costs are some of the lowest I've observed, which I particularly like. The fact that they include the annual PCI compliance charge, surveys, and monthly statement fees in the flat rate is an added benefit.

Cons

Due to Stripe's strict risk management policy, accounts may occasionally be abruptly suspended or cancelled if the company notices any suspicious or high-risk conduct. This may inconvenience customers and impede business operations. Additionally, Stripe's customer service is generally offered via email and chat, which might not be appropriate for urgent or complicated problems. For immediate help, some consumers may choose phone support. Furthermore, Stripe may not provide substantial support for offline transactions or in-person point-of-sale (POS) scenarios because it is primarily focused on supporting online payments.

It's the best. Don't ever think of considering any other payment processer than a stripe. They are best at what they are doing. This company started in front of me, and now it's one of the largest payment processors in the world. The dashboard, the entire system is extremely easy to use.

Pros

It's easy, relatively cheap, and easy to signup and set up. Have plugins for almost all major E-Commerce platforms. Relatively low transaction fees and thanks to stripe radar you get less fraudulent orders. Modern dashboard. If you get a chargeback it's really easy to fight back. Amazingly fast support. This software is our business backbone.

Cons

To be honest, I haven't found a single issue with this software. Just sometimes their verification can take a bit of time.

Stripe is the 'go-to' payment processor, and you need not look elsewhere.

If you have an online storefront, you'll need to take payments somehow. For us, it was as simple as filling out a quick form, providing some business information, copy and pasting a few numbers from Stripe to our WP storefront, and then we were off to the races. Years later, here we are still using Stripe's great service. Also, Stripe enables you to accept Google Pay and Apple Pay!

Pros

Stripe is safe, secure, fast, and affordable. Stripe integrates with...well...everything! I can't imagine using another payment processor at this point in time.

Cons

I don't have any specific cons besides the fact that I would like to see Stripe facilitate crypto payments in the future.

Another successful payments gateway to trust

So far so good with us.I have no real issues with them mostly good issues like i have never has disputes as a user and as administrator .

Pros

To be honest no one needs Labour intensive settings up process so with strip it has easy way to set up in has lot of ready made scripts fo different use. In an essence its easy to set up and for users its easy to pay using it.

Cons

Their business strategy told them that some countries and currencies are second to others so the development in those countries is less and and increase cost to deal witg them. For example in South Africa it does not partnered bank that makes little extra work to get money if you are a merchant.

The best generic payment processor out there

We use Stripe for the majority of our payment processing on online stores. It is reliable and fast, payouts are really fast too. The customer service has always been great, and so is the documentation. The service has always been on track with any annoying new EU regulations, so I can truly recommend this company.

Pros

I use Stripe in dozen different online stores. It just works. Reliable, fast, great service all around. Affordable fees too. I am extremely happy I left Paypal behind.

Cons

I haven't found anything to complain about so far. This tells how great the service is. Usually, there is always something wrong.

From the day we started using Stripe, they have been an absolute joy to work with. Through the available (externally developed) payment plugins, accepting debit and credit card payments securely through our site has been a breeze. The account was up and running in no time with minimal manual steps. Never have we had any restrictions placed on our account because Stripe saw an officially licensed product...

Pros

Stripe is supported around the world and is customized for many regions, offerring localized payment options and on top of all that is affordable, professional, safe and secure. What more could you want from a payment processing company? Stripe's backend is simple enough for a beginning customer, but offers advanced functionality for those that require it.

Cons

No in-house developers that manage the systems integrations options such as Woocommerce integration. As a result, you are dependent on external third party developers to integrate new functionality or manage customer integration issues. Although Stripe does have a plugin listed, the plugin is incompatible with many installations and does not offer the latest features that are available through their API. Additionally, if you're not on their legacy plan, refunds are very expensive (you will not get your payment fees back). Stripe should offer a lower-cost refund option such as a flat $0.50 fee per refund to help small struggling businesses.

I absolutely love Stripe! You can start processing payments in minutes. Plus, Stripe has great customer service. If you ever have any questions or problems, they are quick to help. I highly recommend Stripe for anyone looking for an easy and affordable way to process payments.

Pros

I have been using Stripe for my business and I have to say that it is one of the best payment processing gateways out there. It is very user-friendly and easy to set up. The customer service is excellent and they are always available to help.

Cons

There is one day when the systems were down from Stripe and we lost a lot of business and had a lot of complaints from our customers. It affected our customer review score. I hope Stripe does/did something to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Finally a global payments platform worth using!

With full seamless integration with our WooCommerce platform, and a sleek modern user interface that everybody likes, accepting credit cards, debit cards and Apple Pay, Stripe is everything we ever needed.

Pros

We started using Stripe when we needed an alternative to PayPal's payment platform. Being globally accepted and trusted Stripe was the best and easiest alternative to choose. - Easy to use and implement. - Incredibly low fees, the best in the industry, this alone is enough to select it. - Accepts all credit companies - The verification process is smooth and easy. - Interface is easy to understand and constantly getting updated with new features and other improvements. - Timely automatic payments to our bank accounts.

Cons

There are only a few caveats that we experienced: - American Express cards are not accepted in India. - Stripe once disabled the whole system without notification or warning and wanted additional documents. Though the issue was resolved in a day, they should ask for information first and then disable the system if the user doesn't comply.

Easy to use, but that one positive note comes with terrible policies, very expensive rates, and awful customer service.

Pros

It is commonly used and easily syncs with many major online sources. The unfortunate side of that is they have terrible policies and are expensive on the processing fee.

Cons

The "Dispute" aspect of this platform is a joke. The processing fee is also ridiculously high considering how poor their customer service is. We have had 5 occurrences already of clients "disputing" payments and the client wins every time. The frustration grows knowing all of the "disputes" of clients came after our company carried out the service, the client got what they wanted, and we did not get...

Best Payment Processing System I've ever used!

I have been using Stripe for over 4 years now and my experience so far has been great. I use this everyday to send invoices to my clients. I've also planned to integrate stripe in my website so I can take payments directly from my website.

Pros

The best part about this software is that they accept almost all legitimate businesses across the globe and provide services to small or medium sized businesses. I have a small business and I use Stripe for accepting payments.

Cons

There are features such as Radar which comes with a cost. I believe they could give such features free of cost also. Other than that, I don't think there is anything else I don't like about Stripe.

An Awesome Payment Processing Platform!

Overall I've been very happy using Stripe! We have an online store where people can pay for services directly using their credit card, and also use it to bill clients directly using their payment link feature which I love! It's definitely an awesome way to receive payments, especially over the internet in a very secure way. We've also had some issues with fraud, where someone tried to pay with what was maybe a stolen card, and Stripe detected and blocked the payment! Overall I trust Stripe and have been very happy with their service!

Pros

The thing I like the most about Stripe is how easy it is to collect credit card payments from clients! Most of the payments we collect are not through stripe and are from more a direct payment method, but when it's necessary to collect a credit card, Stripe makes it simple, cheap, and secure. I also like the ease of use of the website and that you can create payment links for people to use directly, as well as have people pay directly through your website upon purchase.

Cons

The only thing I don't like about Stripe is that it sometimes takes a bit of time for the money to hit your account, especially when you first sign up. I was able to call and have them speed up this process thankfully, but it still takes a bit longer than something like Venmo or Paypal.

Perfect For My Business

I LOVE Stripe. So much so that I turned down the provided integrated payment system software that came with my scheduling software. It is so EASY. I can see any information I need quickly. I love the analytics, I love that I can assure my customers that their information is safely stored, I love not having to go back to my customer to get their info again and close out accounts. I have yet to find a down-side.

Pros

Stripe is easy to use and maintain. I can get a variety of reports and analytics. It is easy to keep tabs on what has and has not be entered, check balances and LOW fees, and securely store customer information.

Cons

Using stripe is so simple for me. I am typically technologically challenged, but the provided support information made it a breeze to set up and use. I have no complaints.

Best payment processor out there

We use Stripe for online payments, for our online learning courses, memberships and also event registrations. It works flawlessly in all of these scenarios.

Pros

Stripe is dead easy to use. It is intuitive, full of features, and just makes sense. We had used Paypal and Authorize.net previously and Authorize was way too expensive and Paypal just wasn't professional.

Cons

Honestly, there is nothing i don't like about it. I am very satisfied with every feature.

Great documentation and portal/Dashboard

Stripe covers a lot of business that we need from a Payment solution so in the beginning I was lot of the great amount of documents and manual guide. However, after getting used to it, I really like the ease of integration and deployment for developers and ease of use for users. The Dashboard what I like the most with all the information is linked, making it simple to track down the issue and fix it. Webhooks are also great feature that I might use in the future to get updates of users' Stripe account to my platform.

Pros

The documentation is easy to use with great details. The portal (or Dashboard) contains great information and navigation. When you get on the platform, they will ask you few questions to get you onboard with which features to start with in order to integrate Stripe to your product. Compared to other similar products, the fee is pretty small.

Cons

Right now Stripe only supports a certain number of countries (and seems to be low-risk countries) so if your product doesn't need to payout to higher-risk countries like SE Asia then you are good. Otherwise, you might need to look into other alternatives.

Best merchant processor that integrates with all things WordPress!

Overall, a great merchant processor that I use for many of my clients in web design.

Pros

I really like that Stripe has the infrastructure in place to integrate with many of the plugins I use in WordPress, such as WooCommerce and Gravity Forms. Especially with the recent enhancements to their integration, setting up the sync between a Stripe account and its website takes about 15 minutes, and everything always works smoothly! In addition, I really like the simplicity of their pricing and the absense of monthly fees.

Cons

Nothing to dislike - my only fear is that they'll raise their transaction cost, but hopefully competition in the market will keep it low.

Pros

Stripe has been a great asset for my business. It is user-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective. I find that all of my accounting tasks can be completed quickly and accurately with Stripe’s features.

Cons

Though Stripe has been a great asset, it isn’t without its drawbacks. The customer service team is not incredibly responsive, so when I’ve had questions or issues, I’ve had to wait longer than expected to receive a response.

Workhorse in the background

Overall my experience has been a good one but If you start to make any real money they will stop your account and ask more questions, as for chargebacks I think they should be a little more nicer to vendors and at least look at the protest. But the good part is most of the time I JUST SEE THE PAYMENTS in my bank like clockwork! no problems just works in the background with no glitches or downtime.

Pros

I like that its super easy to deploy. I use it with a few pieces of software and to get it to work its just click and accept terms and it works!

Cons

I think the price for processing can be a bit high and I have had some people get money for a refund and kept the product, I protested and stripe NEVER took my side..
