What is Clear Spider?

Clear Spider is a cloud based inventory, orderand& shipping management solution for mid-sized businesses and large multinational enterprises. The solution is particularly suited to businesses with complex inventory requirements and specific industry needs.

Clear Spider solutions are cloud-based and collaborative, enabling multiple users from various organizations to view and manage inventory located around the world. Features of the software include: VMI (vendor managed inventory) / CMI (customer managed inventory); order, production, warehouse and shipping management; RMA (return material authorization ); and integration.

Clear Spider provides inventory managers with real-time visibility on inventory levels and status, highlighting inventory shortages immediately so that they can be addressed quickly. The software instantly creates purchase orders when inventory stock reaches a predetermined minimum level or 'reorder point'. This automatic inventory replenishment helps inventory managers to spend less time calculating what needs ordering.

Clear Spider enables the categorization of inventory products by name, description, and group. Additional product reference fields can also be added, e.g. a clothing manufacturer can create additional reference fields to sort inventory by size, color, etc.

Reporting and analytics features enable the creation of analyses, graphs and charts for month-to-month and year-on-year comparison. Users can generate reports on invoices, billing histories, inventory valuation, inventory summary & totals, PO history, transactions, pick & pack lists, and more.

Customers and suppliers can be given custom permission user IDs with which to access the self-serve system. With daily backups and bank-level security to encrypt and secure data, Clear Spider keeps customer information safe and protected.
