Kristin:                                               Hi, my name is Kristen, I'm a marketing manager, and I give Wrike five out of five. For more reviews like this, click below. Before the pandemic, we used Basecamp for all of our project management needs. We found Basecamp to be more cumbersome than we wanted. It didn't provide any Gantt charts for us to see project loads, it was tricky to manage tasks, and we wanted full visibility for the team. So we were looking for other options, and Wrike met our needs.
                                                       We decided to go with Wrike, because it provided us with blueprints, so that way we can create projects quickly and efficiently. It provided us with ways to see dashboards for our entire team workloads. We love the intake forms that allowed us to open up our department to request from other departments, and what they need, and to address their needs better. We work in a small team, so we don't have a dedicated project manager.
                                                       So onboarding was a little bit large for us, as in the way of scale of onboarding. So looking at tutorials was really helpful. We had our onboarding customer success manager who teamed up with us, and we trained each individual in the way that they were going to be using Wrike. So we did have some people who wanted to use intake forms. We trained them through their training tutorial portal, which we found really easy and accessible to use. And then, we also trained the rest of our team in project management, so things like building a Gantt chart, formulating tasks, sub-tasks under projects, and what folders we are going to use.
                                                       And we sat together as a team and discussed what exactly and how exactly we are going to implement Wrike across our whole team and within our marketing space that we've built. If you're thinking of using Wrike, I would definitely recommend to look into their blueprints. It saved us a lot of time in building projects from scratch. You go into blueprints, create your own project, and then from there, you can build duplicate projects from that one blueprint. It's really helpful to tweak and adjust projects as we go along as well. We just go back to the blueprint, make some process changes, and then move forward. And so, that way we're not spending a whole lot of time trying to build projects from scratch.

Joe:                                                   My name is Joe. I'm an account director for a digital marketing agency. I'm reviewing Wrike today and I would give it 4 out of 5.
                                                       We looked at a few different products when we were considering a new project management tool. We looked at Monday.com, we looked at Wrike, we also looked at Asana briefly. We had been using ActiveCollab before we switched to Wrike. but in the end, we actually ended up going back to ActiveCollab. The biggest feature and the biggest decider on that was the comments in the tasks of ActiveCollab, that we had been using for years. We were hoping to bring those over but were unable to bring those over, you know to keep all of our projects in sync with the comments and all those things. But we used Wrike for a short period of time and actually really liked it. It was a pretty clean layout, it was very user-friendly, we were able to get our projects and templates and all those things in there very easily. I was actually a little bummed that we didn't get to stick with it as an organization.
                                                       There are a few reasons that we chose Wrike as an agency, the biggest for us was probably the ability to log time and do reporting. We, as a digital agency bill by the quarter hour. Well, we have some clients that have hourly projects, we bill them hourly, kind of a la cart, and there are others that are more bill by the project. But either way, we need to track all the time on that. So we can either budget on the backend or bill on the backend for the hours. So that was the biggest thing was the ability to track our time on projects and tasks. One of the other big deciding factors we looked at Wrike for was the Gantt chart timelines that we can send to clients.
                                                       We had been using Smartsheet as kind of an outboard, secondary program that we could create charts and timelines, and send those to the clients. So we liked that Wrike had some integration there. Aside from that, integration with Dropbox. Also templates for projects. You know, we have a lot of different projects that are of the same type, building websites, other web dev type projects, so it's nice to have a template that we can just have all of our checklists, launch checklists in place, to have those easily pulled up every time, so we're not forgetting things. Budgeting and reporting as well was one thing we wanted, obviously with the time logs, additional to that we wanted to be able to track the time and are we on budget? Are we on par with where we need to be? So those were really the biggest factors that helped us in choosing Wrike.
                                                       Wrike was very easy to onboard into our business and our systems and programs. We had a few calls with their support team, just kind of a quick run-through, you know quick demo calls, tutorial calls, but it was very easy to get integrated into our systems and even into the workflow, you know email alerts are real big, making sure we're not missing projects or tasks or things like that. Yeah, it was very easy to get onboarded. Having worked with a couple other project management tools, it definitely didn't leave anything to be desired with getting it into our regular workflow.
                                                       The best advice I can give for someone looking at Wrike or shopping for any project management tool like this is really to look at the user interface, to me that's the biggest thing. Is it easy to look at? Is it easy to navigate? Is it easy to get around and find things? You know, in the course of your day, there's so much client work and billable work that's going on, you don't want to have to get lost in your tool, looking on how to do something or where to find something, so Wrike was very easy to use, very nice user interface. You know, it's among a number of tools out there that I would say are easy to use, and I'd say it's one of the top three, in my opinion.
