SprintGround overview

What is SprintGround?

SprintGround is a collaboration, project management, and release planning tool aimed at software development teams, which offers users real-time collaboration and centralized communication between development teams and both product owners, who can submit their ideas and give feedback, and customers or end users, who can report bugs, ask questions, and make feature requests.

SprintGround enables users to employ different methodologies, such as scrum, linear, and spiral, and offers tools including Kanban boards and burndown charts to support users in their preferred project management approach. Tasks can be categorized, organized and filtered by priority, and assigned to different team members. Users can view their team’s progress on each task, or the project as a whole, and SprintGround provides an estimated project completion date based on each individual’s working schedule. Estimates and progress are displayed on a burndown chart, with color-coded text notifications of individual and teams progress compared to the initial planning.

SprintGround gives users an overview of upcoming and past events, and automatically notifies users when important changes are made to tasks or project schedules. Users are offered a limited summary of changes on login, or they can choose to view more detailed change logs, which include per-field changes by a single user, for a specific release, or across a project.

We are a small company that coordinate several projects in parallel. Without a whiteboard in a conference room to manage our work, we were looking for project management at an affordable price. Sprint Ground was the clear winner!!! Pros: Optimized for Agile, free for up to 3 users, all tasks can be filtered by a host of variables like status and due date Cons: limited projects and disk space due the plan
