Great software but with a user/cost model I do not like

It is a great team collaborator tool, it has many different features but for small companies or non-lucrative companies, it is very very expensive and not possible to afford.

Pros
- Easy of use, is indeed a very simple software to use that meets the expectations. - Functionalities, it has toons of extension and functionalities to add in the paid version.

Cons
- Price (user/month cost is a real pain in the budget. Probably worth it if you do not have IT admins in the company but very expensive if you have them, and they can install other cheaper software).

The Best and Effective Task Management Application

I found Trello an easy to use application plus a cost-effective solution for small businesses. Clients with zero or low-budget can afford this application for their day-to-day workflows. I personally recommend Trello, and I believe it would be tough for me to pass a day without this application.

Pros
Trello is a user-friendly and simple application to manage and monitor all your daily works. It is the most effective app I have ever used for list-making. Plus, the most important thing is it is free, and it does not bind you in terms of the number of people one can collaborate through this software. I found it easy, simple and fun! On the other hand, if you go for the premium version, you are getting it cheap!

Cons
The only major drawback of Trello is, it does not allow exporting of your Trello boards into Excel sheets unless you are in business class.

I've used Trello for business, independent projects, and event personal use (ie, planning a wedding). It is incredibly simple, easy to coordinate with other people, and I love the visual nature!

Pros
-Very simply to use -Free or incredibly low cost to use -Very visual with color-coding, tagging, assignment options, etc.

Cons
-Interface is not always intuitive when using more advanced features -I recently heard that they raised their prices for small teams (huge bummer!) -I wish you could "reactivate" an entire board so that it could be used more as a project review tool

Trello has allowed my team to eliminate 95% of the emails send inside the team and outside the team with customers. We have replaced the communication dynamic of back and forth emails with a simple follow up of agreed tasks.

Pros
Trello is easy to use. Boards are really easy to set up and the team engagement is fast. Integration with other web apps is available as well as an important number of automation that help us to save a lot of time.

Cons
Nothing to say against Trello. We are extremely happy with it. Even the cost is very affordable. Excelent value for money.

Trello allowed my team to manage the project better, assigning tasks to certain people which streamlined the development process.

Pros
Trello is very easy to use and is designed in a way that lets you keep track of things easily. We used this service when we were first starting out and didn't require much in the case of project management, so Trello was a good choice. There's a free version as well, which makes it the perfect choice for anyone who isn't in the market for a lot of features, as it only offers the basics.

Cons
There aren't that many features, and even if you're willing to pay a price which I don't consider very cheap - you still don't get everything you'd expect. Trello has competitors which offer more professional tools for a similar price with more features, which are better for larger teams and organizations.

Overall, Trello has been the task management platform I return to after trying others. Its ability to sync with my other digital tools and the multiple features make it more than worth the premium cost.

Pros
I love the multiple views that have developed in Trello. For the price, the options available in Trello are not found in any other platform I have used. Ease of customization and personalization of workspace is a definite plus as well.

Cons
The free version of the platform is little more than a tease. Although affordable, the premium version of the app is needed in order to perform many of the features that make Trello unique and appealing.

Great tool for project management in small companies or for a low number of projects

Pros
The simplicity. This is the most important thing about Trello, while there is no rocket science in this tool - it is just a Kanban Board, Trello Team made it so simple and easy to use that their competition looks extremely complex. It is because of great UI and organisation. Also Trello is very cheap and you don't have to buy a premium version at all.

Cons
If you're conducting 10+ projects, Trello is becoming too simple. It is impossible to connect projects and link them with each other so if you're Manager of Project Manager you have to follow all boards and it becomes very confusing over time.

Absolutely great experience. The best find I or any of my companies have ever had in terms of a free or cheap software package that makes a real difference to the everyday running of our businesses.

Pros
It's free and for free, you get an feature-rich and very powerful software. It's exceptionally easy to use. It's very reliable and never gives issues. It can be expanded to do more, at additional cost. I didn't leave the rating for customer support in the last section, as I can't remember ever even needing support! It's that easy to use and understand and reliable.

Cons
It's limiting once you get into more complex projects. Atlassian are gradually starting to reduce feature on the free plan and will start charging more I feel for many of the features. They're very ruthless in how they do this; they just inform you of what's happening (with a few month's notice) and then you either start paying or lose the features. So, that's definitely something to watch out for. That said, this product is well worth paying for for any small business, managing uncomplicated projects.

We have a team of anywhere from 2 to 10 people looking at this and making updates at any one time. It is easy to do and things no longer get lost because it is all visible.

Cons

Trello - awesome visual task manager for repeated productions

Used daily for 6-12 months

Review Source: Capterra

There are different types of projects, with different workflow patterns and complexities. Trello came from an ex-Toyata exec, and seems to mimic the kanban cards that famously used to ensure high quality production back in the day. For projects that follow a similar pattern to car production - a large number of similar items going through a relatively unbranched workflows (like cars on an assembly line), I find it to be great. It is easy to grasp, visually pleasing, and easy to use on the web, tablet or smartphone. Some features I especially like: a checklist on one card can be loaded onto another card, you can filter a board by due dates, and my favorite is you can email a comment or attachment to a card using the unique email. I have used it duing my current job search to track the stage of my job search (each card is a position I am in discussions about, the stages are HR screen, hiring manager phone interview, waiting for on-site interview, etc.). Although I am still looking, with Trello I know exactly where each opportunity stands, and can easily show others. This is just one example, but if you try Trello, you will soon find many uses for it. Love it!

Pros
Being able to email information to a specific card - converts the email stream to useful information.

Cons
So many cool Power-ups that I am too cheap to pay for, but covet.

Pros
Trello is incredibly simple and easy to use. While there are a fair amount of features in it, mostly paid upgrades, they don't take away from the design/experience. That the interface has remained so miminal/clean despite years passing buy is also a testament to a good company. Great for small projects (personal or business), would look further for larger projects

Pros
Trello is a great low barrier to start managing your projects. The UI is very simple and you quickly understand how the software works. It's based on the Kanban principle where each task can be picked up by anyone at any time. It helps you keep a good track of who is working on what.

Cons
For simple projects it's great but when you need to upgrade and do more complex management it can quickly get limited (such as time management, seeing when a project is estimated to be done, etc). Sure there are plugins but some feel cheap and others don't quite get the job done. Keep this in mind when your trying Trello

Great way to organize tasks on the web and mobile app. Amazing to use for projects with a large or small team as each user can add members to each a card. You can even set up teams if you're working with a large number of people. The boards act as a home for your lists which contains yours cards. For example, Project A would be a board and under Project A you could have a "list" of tasks that are related to one another. On each of these lists, your cards acts as your action items for that list of tasks. As you dive deeper into the lists and cards, there is more customization and functionality that lets each user make Trello work for them. There are a TON of "power ups" which are extensions to third party apps such as google drive, evernote, a gantt chart maker and more. Personally, my team and I like to use the calendar power up as we are able to see our tasks for that month. Trello is free and lets you have one power up which is more than what my team and I need. However if you pay for their premium service you unlock a whole suite of features making it even better and more efficient. If things get busier around the office, I will definitely be upgrading. I have even started a personal board on my account to keep track of my tasks! One of the best features is that it works on Android and iOS, so my whole team is on trello, regardless of what phone they have.

Pros
Easy to use, great cross-platform task management app.

Cons
The aesthetics get boring after a while in the free version, but it's cheap to purchase the premium version for a better look!

Pros
What I liked most was the cost-benefit, it is software that delivers everything my company needs for an affordable price, another thing I have to highlight and it was also decisive for you to choose the purchase is the automatic synchronization that software has with my bank and for other banks, the insertion of transaction information is also done simply, it occurs through OFX file.

Pros
The fact that Trello starts as free and has so many features, especially at the individual board and item level, is fantastic. As a software developer and as a teacher at the college level, I have used Trello personally and professionally. It's great for small projects and for introducing students to project management. The ability to assign tasks, add files, and integrate with other software makes it a great free or low-cost alternative to Jira (owned by same company as of writing).

Cons
This is something I can't quite put my finger on, but Trello just feels cheap. Something about the way it looks, the way it works, I don't know how to describe it, but I feel like I'm not using something meant to be a professional tool whenever I have to use it for work and that just turns me off from it. This isn't exactly a helpful opinion, as it's mostly a gut feeling, but I struggle with sticking with Trello and not trying the other 40 billion other options out there from time to time.

We use Trello for software development process management and overall project management. We switched to Trello from JIRA because it was easier and cheaper to get all our stakeholders on board. Trello is much easier for non-engineers to use. While JIRA is no doubt far more powerful for software projects, in practice Trello is good enough for the small teams at my organization.

Pros
Trello can be just about any kind of process management tool you want. It comes as a blank canvas. You can define your process any way you want, using the simple concepts of cards and lanes.

Cons
I prefer to use the desktop app, but it is more buggy than the web version. It's also moderately resourced intensive. While Trello is much more responsive than Atlassian's other project management tool JIRA, it comes at the cost of higher resource usage on the desktop.
