I like the ability to easily communicate with staff and clients about their legal issues. The automation is very good and allows tasks to be done in half the time without automation.

The function to submit a question does not result in any feedback at all. The program is now getting glitchy and the newest update is just terrible looking and terrible functionally.

MyCase has made us much more efficient we use it for time tracking, clients contacts, invoicing and calendaring.It is a very cost effective management tool plus very helpful in that clients can see what is happening in their cases.

MyCase is very user friendly.  in hindsight, it would be great to see/view how setup affects many different areas of the data base.  how clients are listed in sorting or reports, from first/last name vs last/first name, if not ability to view setup, maybe suggestion popups of different ideas to set up clients ect,

Overall, I think MyCase has the best services and platform. The live customer support is critical. I don't want to email someone about a problem. I don't want to wait hours or days for a response. When I have a problem, I want to pick up the phone and speak with someone and solve the problem. The live technical/customer support is worth it's weight in gold.

The ease of MyCase.

Overall, the switch to MyCase has been positive for our firm. More features in one product, much higher billing with less time spent manually inputting time, and document templates have revolutionized our practice. However, the features that are lacking seem like simple fixes that would be intuitively considered in a UX design process. 

Solid program that could use some basic improvements

Great. Love how easy it is to use and that you can get to the same place several different ways. The customer service is A+, best of any software company or really and service provider we use. Our clients also seem to really love the portal and the ease of making payments. Add Item options should be colored again for ease of use.Quickbooks has some issues syncing and causes odd results.Really needs to add a date filter in the "Create a New Invoice" page for when I am billing the prior month. Filtering by "uninvoiced balance" is insufficient because it captures charges for current month, which is not the month I am billing for.

MyCase has been a wonderful tool for our firm. It allows for a more digital experience for both users and clients.  MyCase is always updating to stay ahead of the current trends and needs, and they never take a long time to correct issues when they are reported. I love the MyCase staff which is always helpful and willing to explain things so we better understand why or why not something is the way it is. I will be happy telling others of the useful and customization features within MyCase. The support staff and product managers are always willing to help and take suggestions, which they tend to implement if they can. I have had a ton of ideas implemented which makes our daily activities easier. Overall, this software is pretty user friendly, high ability to  customize a lot of areas, an all in one type of feel and beneficial for any office looking to go more digital.

MyCase Review: Saved Us So Much Time!

                                                       Prior to using MyCase, we used to use Clio software management. Clio was just a little bit more expensive, and to get all of the features that MyCase has under one price, we had to keep upgrading and purchasing separate items.
                                                       MyCase was a game changer for our estate planning and probing practice. MyCase was very user-friendly. It had a lot of features, everything that we really needed. Everything was in one place, including billing, communications with clients, document collection. And clients actually love MyCase because they have their own client portal where they can access all of their documents, upload their own, and access their invoices and other tasks on their case.
                                                       Transitioning from Clio to MyCase was a very easy process. People from MyCase reached out and supervised the whole process. They walked us through kind of collecting all of the information and data they needed and transferred it over to MyCase. It was a pretty straightforward process. And just kind of starting with MyCase was very easy, as I said. It's very user-friendly. And yeah, it's very easy to use.
                                                       If you are looking for a software to streamline your practice, organize your tasks, and really just keep your staff on task and calendar, MyCase is the one for you.

                                                       So I tried, first of all, CosmoLex, and that didn't work for me. I know this may sound a little petty, but the name was hard for me to tell a client, "Oh, log into CosmoLex." But also it was hard for me to use. It wasn't as user-friendly for me. And if it's not user-friendly for me, then it's going to make it harder for my client. Then I also tried Clio. Clio, the pricing. I know a lot of people use Clio, but they had all these different tiers, and if I wanted to get a certain feature, I had to pay more. So that priced me out because I was just starting my practice and I needed something where I could get all these features from one price, and I didn't want to have to try all these different ones.
                                                       Another one that I tried was PracticePanther. I liked the fact they had a special that gave me an opportunity to try it. But once again, it just was not anything that was user-friendly.
                                                       And then the other one was Rocket. It was Rocket something. I can't think of the last name of it now. And all those were either too difficult for me to use, or they have all these different complicated pricing structures, which made it hard for me to get the most bang for the buck.
                                                       So I ended up choosing MyCase because one, the price. The price really fit, and they also gave discounts if you were a member of the state bar association or the American Bar Association. I liked the fact that with one subscription, you had access to all the features. There weren't all these different pricing structures that made it complicated.
                                                       Another point was ease of use. I really liked how easy it was to use. They had a mobile app and the mobile app in the beginning, it was not a very strong mobile app, but they listened to people saying, "Hey, you need to improve." And they started making improvements where now the mobile app is really good. And also the user interface on the internet is also something that they continue to develop. They listened to input from their customers, and they're always adding things. First it was the eSignature. Then they added abilities, like text your client through that, all these different features, eCheck, all these things that they keep doing to innovate and basically keeping the price competitive.
                                                       And a bonus of that, they also have a website feature to where they can build and maintain your website for a very reasonable price. And they actually did my website. And then they have a place on there where your clients can go to your website, log in to the client portal. So not only do they have my website, but I also have them for my client management.
                                                       And those were all the reasons why it's basically an easy choice for me to pick MyCase because of the way they continue to develop their service.
                                                       So with MyCase, it was really easy to bring it into my law firm. Basically because I knew how to do it, it was easy for me to teach other people in the law firm how to do it. The way it's set up, they have these training videos and articles. Basically go into the little support tab, type in whatever you're struggling with, and then they either have a short video or an article that tells you how to do it. So that made it easy. And part of the training of my staff, I said, "Hey, watch these MyCase videos, because it's a very in-depth system and you can stay on the surface if you want to, or you can even take a deeper dive. And there's the videos that show you how to do it."
                                                       I've not had to send out a single paper invoice because MyCase, I can send them out electronically, and my clients pay electronically. Some do come in and pay in cash, but the majority of the business is me communicating through my client, paperless and that's the kind of law firm that I wanted because I didn't have the financial resources to have a paper full office with all these books and these shelves and all that. But MyCase made it really easy to get up and running because I could have all my client's files in basically the palm of my hand, if I'm on my phone or in the computer. Clients can upload documents. [inaudible 00:04:46] all these training manuals. And also you can call MyCase themselves and they can help walk you through the process, if you don't understand something.
                                                       If someone were to ask me, I would like to sign up for MyCase, some of the things I would tell them is if you do sign up for MyCase, which I highly recommend, make sure that you become a member of either the ABA or the local bar association. So you can get the discount. You might as well take advantage of it. Then I would ask, depending on the number of employees they have, if MyCase can do a data transfer, which they can do, if you have, I think at least three employees, and that would help make that transition easier. The other thing I would say is to really get involved with the trial subscription. They have, I think it's maybe a two week trial subscription, so you can get familiar with the product and they can help teach you. They have tons of articles on their website. Continue to read those, continue to learn, have your staff learn this product because it will help your business grow. There's no way that I'd be able to be in business now, if I did not have MyCase helping me through with all these clients.
