We’ve been really happy with Hootsuite. It’s shortened the time we have to spend on social media and made the time we do spend on it much more streamlined.
We only use social media because Hootsuite allows us to manage all the different platforms at once. Otherwise we would only use 2 platform or spend a lot more time on it.
I’d really like to have a little more automation options. It’s taken a while to get used to everything but now we’re really happy.

Overall, had a great experience with Hootsuite. Saved us time and allowed us a 360 view of how people interacted with the messaging we put out
The ability to have one view of all our social media made it easier to monitor and control the messages we put out and see how they were absorbed by our audience
Once in a while 1 or 2 of our accounts would disconnect from the platform and need to be reconnected. Most likely a security measure from the provider, not Hootsuite

Hootsuite is an excellent tool for scheduling and creating social media posts for various platforms. The calendar feature helps me stay on top of everything and gives me an overview of the engagement of all my main social media channels. The free edition is limited to just five articles per schedule. Because of this, I save the information I want to publish later in a drafts folder.
The automatic posts and the scheduling of posts were the best for me. Hootsuite is the way I schedule Instagran and YouTube posts for my personal projects. I use Hootsuite to post content every week because my project only takes place on weekends. It only works for me during the week and oversees the scheduled posts.
I found it difficult to understand. In order to configure the posts according to my requirements, I had to rack my brains. The limit on posts is also a little frustrating.

I work for a digital marketing agency who manages the social media pages for over 40+ businesses in Egypt and the Middle East, We run an incredible amount of pages on different social networks because they are too many nowadays, Almost 6/7 Pages/Profiles for each account and this is the hardest part to keep everything under control and collaboration with the right monitoring tools and to have a seamless post schedule for the whole month without a single fail, I like the fact that through all the years Hootsuite never pushed anyone to subscribe or pay for a personal use through limiting the capabilities and this makes us, We pay because we're an agency handling many accounts but for others they don't have to.
I like their easy-to-use interface with the user-friendly publishing tools to create and schedule posts to multiple social networks with the ability to collaborate in real-time with your team members and being able to assign permissions with my organization and with/for clients for a seamless access and maximum monitoring, I also like the deep insights we're able to gain through their in-depth analysis, It enables us to measure our performance across different channels to stay on top of trends and to drive the highest value of our organic/paid reach.
We needed a functional mobile application because it's 2022, And the reporting capabilities still not smart or bringing any difference between it and the social networks built-in reporting tools, Also adding some algorithms and AI/ML for the whole platform would be good specially for the content recommendation part.

My overall experience with Hootsuite has been positive. It offers a comprehensive set of tools for managing my social media presence effectively. The impactful features like post scheduling, multi-account management, and in-depth analytics have greatly improved my social media strategy and efficiency. The initial setup and integration with my existing business processes were relatively smooth
Managing multiple social media accounts from different platforms in one place is incredibly convenient. Hootsuite's centralized dashboard makes monitoring and engaging with our accounts a breeze.
Integration with Instagram can be a bit restrictive due to Instagram's API limitations.

Hootsuite has continued to improve the platform and it's now a complete tool for social media posting.
Being able to store all of your attachments alongside a post calendar and account dashboard makes it easy to keep track of everything.
Automated posting to Twitter caused a issue with our account. User beware!

As a digital marketer managing several social media accounts, I found Hootsuite to be an indispensable tool in my daily workflow. The convenience of having all my platforms in one dashboard simplified the posting process, and the scheduling feature allowed me to plan content in advance, freeing up valuable time. This alone was worth the investment in Hootsuite!
The ability to manage several social media accounts across different platforms in one place saves me valuable time and simplifies my workflow. I also appreciate the in-depth insights and analytics!
The learning curve was a little difficult as there are so many features to discover. It was a little overwhelming at first!

In every social media-based role I've been in, I've always recommended Hootsuite as a tool for my team to use. Great for scheduling posts and getting things live on time, plus the ability to preview each post before it goes live means you can make any last-minute tweaks to suit the social platform you're posting for. Has definitely saved me heaps of time in the past!
Only thing that would be nice to see would be the option to schedule link changes in link branches, such as LinkTree. For instance, if I've scheduled a post on Instagram, I have to remind myself to go back and update the links in the bio when the post referencing such links goes live.

Overall my experience with Hootsuite was nothing less than great. It saved me time and allowed me to do my job when I wanted to and when I could find the time.
HOOTSUITE is the final answer when it comes to social media marketing or management. Hootsuite allows you to make sure you are reaching customers on every platform at the ideal times without having it dictate you day. Scheduled social posting is the way of the future and they have it figured out.
The only con that I have found during my Hootsuite usage would be the price. It is not a cheap option but the amount of time it can save a small business owner makes it worth it in my opinion.

Overall, Hootsuite provides a single place to monitor multiple social media platforms, create branded and consistent marketing campaigns, schedule content in advance with easy oversight, and get insights into content performance.
Hootsuite is a great way to set up a multi channel dashboard to have greater oversight of your social media channels. I appreciate that it covers all the major platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
At this point in time, users can't directly publish content to the Facebook and Instagram stories, which are major marketing tools. Where as you can pre schedule traditional posts, it's not an option for stories.

By scheduling posts to go out at the most effective times, you may reach more customers, increase interaction, and increase conversions.
Hootsuite's first significant application was scheduling posts for times when I wasn't available to post them. Today, there are a ton of scheduling tools available, including automatic schedules that publish our posts at the same time every day regardless of when I compose them, eliminating the need for me to manually enter the information each time.Hootsuite has a ton of information to display, thus...
Sadly, the fundamental plan has certain flaws. If I want advanced features, I'll have to pay. There are some issues with the post creator's text editor. It is annoying to not be able to amend a planned post within five minutes of the scheduled publishing time.

Under-utilized because the tools on Meta and LinkedIn are easier for me to use. Found customer service to be inflexible. I liked having the free account(s), but those are gone now. Just too expensive for my level of business.
I can schedule out social media for different clients (but only up to 10 SM accounts)
Awkward to use, I like using FB Meta and LinkedIn scheduling better. Seems like I'm always getting SM accounts disconnected and I find out later that my scheduled posts never posted. I don't see any email correspondence or IMs or anything to alert me of this. I find out by accident. Customer Service. Hootsuite is not meeting my needs and I am underutilizing it as such. I asked for a partial refund and they refused. It's a lot of money for something I can't utilize easily. It's a lot of money for just 10 SM accounts. I think that this platform is intended for deep-pocketed larger organizations with Social Marketing teams/depts. than for small business. There is no opt-out for auto-renewing subscriptions.

Great and most reliable service available, although the most restrictive for free users.
Hootesuite is highly reliable and I can schedule posts and forget knowing they will go out on time every time. Simple to use with one of the best post editing I've used on mobile.
Hootesuite has a problem dragging images out of websites when sharing web pages.

My overall experience with Hootsuit is great, already seeing my followers list grow both personally and for my business. I don’t think I could’ve been managing my social media any better than the job Hootsuit is doing. I’m satisfied.
What I love most about hootsuit is their free plan. Not many social media management platform gives so much to offer with their free plan. You can schedule both Twitter and Instagram post among others while using different social media all at once which they provide on one dashboard. I have a Twitter page and Instagram page for my business and hootsuit free plan allows me to schedule posts. What service I find best for me is how hootsuit analyzes the social media results in terms of tractions and interactions which shows the impact on my brand.
As much as this feature is helpful, it’s also at a disadvantage as well. The dashboard feature in terms of layout could be much better. Everything seems to be thrown together and clustered up.

I have reported occasional glitches or technical issues with Hootsuite. Additionally, I have noted that the pricing structure can be a bit expensive for smaller businesses or individual users. That being said, Hootsuite's customer support team is generally responsive and helpful in resolving any issues that users may encounter. Additionally, the platform offers a range of pricing plans to suit different needs and budgets, so I can choose the plan that works best for me.Overall, while I have reported issues with the platform, Hootsuite remains a popular and highly rated social media management tool, with a range of features that can benefit businesses and individuals alike.

Hootsuite and Buffer are my go to social media, despite the several other SM Managers that I've tried out. I work with 5 brands and I have to manage their social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn) I've been using Hootsuite (and Buffer) for three years but of the two Hootsuite is my favorite and my safe bet. I have a habit of testing out as many free marketing software's as...
It is one of the simplest Social media managers in the market, the freeplan is great because it provides essential features for beginners and experts at no cost. I also like the mini tutorial for new users, at the right side of the dashboard. I personally use Tweetdeck for social listening on Twitter but Hootsuite is also great for that.
I dont like the fact that if i want to schedule a post with multiple images i'll have to schedule it directly on Facebook or on Tweetdeck for twitter.

Overall, I love Hootsuite. It's easy to use, easy to integrate, and really solves a lot of problems that social media managers face every day.
Hootsuite is the must-have tool for social media managers that want to utilize their time more efficiently, gain analytics on your messages and audience, and interact with the public more frequently to grow your audience. Hootsuite is a great tool and I would recommend it for anyone who uses social media on a professional level. It allows you to track hashtags, schedule messages, gain insights into which messages are more popular, and learn about your audience.
I would say the thing that I like least about Hootsuite is the limitation on streams that you can have. They also have different levels of payments which allow for more possibilities, but they can get a little complicated to decipher which is right for you. My organization went back and forth between the paid and free trials a couple of times in a year because we couldn't exactly decide which would be the best for us so I recommend doing some research into all the capabilities that come with the different levels before committing.

We started with Hootsuite Free, but then installed Hootsuite Pro. We needed a low cost alternative, it is definitely low cost, I heard about Hootsuite from the blogs I follow and looked for more information online. The most important tasks I wanted to accomplish, was to schedule posts on social networks like Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+, this way, it wouldn't need to be done by hand. I know the Facebook page has the option to schedule a new login date, however, having to log into three different platforms and copy and paste took more time.
For younger or smaller companies, time is valuable and the ability to schedule up to 30 messages at a time means you send once a month and it's complete. Enjoy an hour or two focused on the topic, this relieves the stress of having to remember to log in several times a week when other events get in the way. Likewise I am interested in analytics, I may access each social networking site and watch it, however, at that time I could be engaged in something else. I am fascinated to observe the performance of each magazine in different channels, especially because each of these differs in the way the material is consumed.
I would like to see a keyword or hashtag report included, which is not in the free version, but, even so, I wouldn't complain. When I used the free service, my main goal was just to share content and showcase a greater presence in different media. They are equipped with the Hootlet owl that can be employed to schedule posts in Chrome and Firefox browsers. Interesting, I've noticed that it sometimes has a lot of bugs, so I generally don't use it or install it. I wish it was more efficient, as a small portion of the content is created on the fly. However, it is a free resource, so I'm not complaining.

It's a one-stop-shop for all your social media needs. You can manage multiple accounts in one place, schedule posts, and track analytics. The user interface is super easy to navigate. Even if you're not the most tech-savvy person, you can figure it out.You can customize your dashboard to fit your specific needs. Want to track engagement on a specific post? Easy peasy. The customer support is top-notch. If you do happen to run into any issues, their team is quick to respond and always helpful.
The price can be a bit steep. It's not cheap, especially for small businesses or individuals. It can be overwhelming at first. Since there are so many features, it may take a bit of time to fully understand and utilize everything HootSuite has to offer.Overall, I absolutely love HootSuite. As someone who manages multiple social media accounts for both personal and professional use, it's a game-changer. While it may have a bit of a learning curve and the pricing can be a bit high, it's definitely worth it for anyone serious about managing their social media presence. Give it a try, and you won't be disappointed!

I manage a number of social media accounts for an international software company, and am also tasked with monitoring social mentions for our brand. For all my (relatively minor) issues with Hootsuite, it certainly lets me get the job done. On the level of features, I think Hootsuite is near the top of the heap as far as most social media management platforms go. Just don't expect the prettiest packaging, best user experience, or to be able to fully schedule your social activity in advance on some networks.
Make no mistake about it; when it comes to getting your social media work done, Hootsuite will deliver. Its scheduling feature is great, it (mostly) does a good job of letting you tag things, and it offers a good suite of analytics features that will help you review your social media performance and deliver key insights to other members of your organization.
My issues with Hootsuite aren't dealbreakers, but they do make me less than enthusiastic about bringing my business to this platform. The UI just isn't very attractive or intuitive, which is a shame. Competitors offer much more modern looks and simpler posting functionality than you get with Hootsuite. Annoyingly, and I know this isn't Hootsuite's fault, there are issues relating to who you are able to tag on certain networks, like LinkedIn. I often find myself unable to schedule a post to LinkedIn because of who I need to tag, and having to post manually defeats the purpose of having Hootsuite in the first place. I do understand that this is an issue created by the social networks themselves, but it's an annoyance nonetheless.

One of the major benefits of Hootsuite is its ability to schedule posts. It allows users to enter content for every social media platform in as little as 15 to 30 minutes. That's great news for small business owners who already have too much to do! Hootsuite also allows you to schedule your posts, so you can reach your followers at different times, and in different time zones.
The Team plan of Hootsuite offers features that teams need, but its main limitation is its lack of a team publishing workflow. Users can't assign roles and tasks to clients or content creators. They can't assign tasks and publish content to multiple accounts or create a team audit trail. Despite its shortcomings, the Team plan is still an excellent tool for teams

Social Media presence is important in this millennial age. HootSuite makes managing your social presence (profile, posts, shares, etc) a breeze and streamlined across all major social media channels.
There are just too many social channels to maintain (company branding, marketing, communications, sales, and support uses). HootSuite simplifies the management of these social channels to save our Social Media Manager (and staff) a lot of time updating the profiles, posts, shares, photos... etc. Analytics! Numbers to back up any of our social media efforts are crucial for calculating ROI and supporting...
Don't be too easily swayed by the initial asking price... you'd eventually realize that for additional power-ups/extras you will have to shell out the additional payment (which eventually add up). Also, just one comment on the UI... it seems pretty outdated in terms of looks which might turn off some users who are aesthetically sensitive (like myself). :)
