Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

CloudApper overview
What is CloudApper?
CloudApper AI Platform gives enterprises a way to use AI-generated software without inheriting the security, compliance, and maintenance problems that come with raw, AI-written source code.
The shift AI coding has brought is real: work that once took months can now be generated in minutes. But that speed comes at a cost.
Each AI-generated app tends to introduce its own logic, data access patterns, and vulnerabilities—work that must be individually audited, with documented vulnerability rates as high as 40-45%. Every new app can mean a new database, new access rules, and added DevOps and compliance overhead. At scale, this breaks the consistency enterprises depend on: inconsistent data governance, violations of centralized access control, repeated audits, and compliance risk in HIPAA, GDPR, and FedRAMP environments.
CloudApper takes a different approach. Instead of producing unmanaged source code, the platform converts AI intent into a governed application definition—a structured configuration—which executes on the CloudApper Certified Application Server. Every application inherits the same security policy and data governance layer, so there's no "unknown code" risk and no need for a separate audit on every app.
CloudApper also enforces a uniform data access layer. Rather than each application creating its own database and access rules (the pattern that leads to siloed, fragmented, or rogue data), every application connects through approved enterprise data policies and cannot bypass governance rules—giving consistent data access control and eliminating fragmentation across systems.
This is built on Zero Trust principles for AI-generated software: zero implicit trust, so unverified AI source code never enters the secure perimeter; centralized verification, routing everything through the uniform data access layer; and an "always verify" engine running exclusively inside the Certified Application Server.
Some specialized patterns require native code. For these cases, CloudApper supports a hybrid model: AI can generate native code modules that bolt securely onto the existing framework, running on the established data and security layers so custom modules keep the platform's governance.
The output isn't just code—it's a complete application. CloudApper generates a lightweight blueprint (natural language converted to JSON, bypassing the source code compiler) that runs on desktop, tablet, and mobile, all powered by the same certified, governed application server. New applications inherit the server's approved controls, cutting down repeated security reviews per deployment.
CloudApper supports SOC2, FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, FERPA, and FIPS compliance and holds AWS Partner and AWS Qualified Software status, suiting regulated industries where typical AI coding tools fall short. Hundreds of enterprises use CloudApper's secure-by-design architecture to combine AI speed with centralized governance and enterprise-grade security.
