Claromentis overview

Claromentis intranet software provides users with a range of enterprise-level collaborative, social & business applications in an integrated digital workspace. The software is designed for organizations of all sizes across all sectors, and can be extended with solutions for learning management, project management, and business process management.

Claromentis’s drag-and-drop design apps allow users to fully control the branding and design of their intranet, and the selection of applications included can also be customized. Available modules include document management, events management, social project management, corporate social networking, content management, news and blogs, policy management, expense management, image galleries, forums, room booking, holiday planner, polls and surveys, audit logs, compliance management, knowledge base, quizzes, a menu builder, and more.

The Claromentis framework allows users to control user permissions, and supports single sign-on (SSO) and Active Directory integrations for user authentication. Metadata can be customized and managed, and users can maintain complete version control through Claromentis’s archive of all documents, projects, and content pages. All menus, news items, system commands, status messages, and content managed pages can be translated and presented to users in any language, with support for all language character sets.

Our overall experience with Claromentis has been outstanding: The main reason behind this is the fact that the company is setup to work with customers closely and perform critical tasks and services which were fundamental to us as a small business: ** initial training: The claromentis team provided us with plenty of time of training directly with their service reps and engineers to ensure that as administrators we fully understood the platform **** Customizations**** As expected, we quickly ran into situations where we needed special functionality not present in the standard product. The claromentis team was able to work with us to properly spec out these customizations and achieve them to our full satisfaction. This has been a **fundamental** part of our relationship and an element that we are convinced would have been very difficult to find with other vendors.

Significantly greater efficiency and internal communication. Every task or requirement is now in list form so its less likely that these tasks are skipped over as they would be with emails. Customer service with Claromentis is fantastic and all queries are attended to within a short period of time. In most cases they have a solution for the problems we are experiencing. Overall it has been a game-changing experience getting Claromentis implemented in the Group.

Claromentis’s document management tools include version control, permissions management, tagging, indexing, full content searching, workflows, drag-and-drop upload functionality, document previews, and exportable audit trails.

The social project management app allows users to discuss and collaborate on office initiatives, staff engagement plans, employee well-being schemes, and other project ideas, with activity streams displaying updates, questions, and comments.

The digital asset management (DAM) system enables the categorisation, management and distribution of files, videos, and images, with permissions-based access, filtering, tagging, and a cart to allow the download of multiple files at one time.

Clients, partners, and suppliers can be provided with access to their own extranet with the same apps as the organization intranet.

Instant messaging enables real-time communication between employees, and automatically-generated alerts can be sent to employees’ intranet inboxes or email addresses, with application-specific and employee-specific notification controls.
