What is Refiner?

Refiner is a survey management that helps businesses collect and analyze customers' feedback to improve client retention rates. Organizations can utilize widgets and templates to create customizable surveys, add multiple choice questions, free text responses, ratings, or important notes, and segment target audience based on specific traits.

Refiner allows enterprises to customize the survey widget by adding multiple languages, brand-specific colors, or slide-in positions and visualize collected data in the form of bars, timelines, and pie charts. Administrators can launch ad-hoc survey campaigns, access clients' comments according to requirements, and use the feedback hub to filter, monitor, and analyze captured responses. Staff members can also receive notifications about completed surveys via email or Slack, and set up triggers based on clients' responses and user behavior.

Refiner facilitates integration with various third-party applications such as Zapier, Segment, Slack, and more to notify team members about new surveys and configure trigger-based workflows. The Net Promoter Score (NPS) tool allows organizations to measure customer satisfaction rates, segment them into promoters or detractors, and promote brand activities via referrals, reviews, and testimonials. It also offers a REST API, which helps businesses push and synchronize data to the back-end database.

The app is very intuitive and well designed. Our customers seem to enjoy the widget too with a very high response rate. The support was very good and we are happy customers.

Pros
Refiner allows us to run various types of surveys within our product and our websites. We initially started with a quick survey to better understand our users. We then started using it for customer satisfactions surveys and it's generating a constant stream of customer feedback since then.

Cons
There is no option to send surveys by email yet. According to their support this will be added though in the future.

Pros
Refiner is a simple, yet powerful customer survey tool for SaaS companies. Their in-app NPS survey widget is beautifully designed and yields to much higher response rates than surveys sent by email. We also like the idea that they support other types of surveys. With Refiner we can ask our users any kind of question whenever we need more insights on a topic (e.g. product research).

Cons
It would be nice if Refiner could also send surveys by email as a backup.

Setting up Refiner was really easy and we got our first NPS feedback coming in within a couple of minutes. Compared to other NPS solutions, it's obvious that Refiner was designed to match the needs of SaaS companies.

Pros
We really enjoyed the flexibility of Refiner and the ease of use. It allowed us to run NPS surveys and ask customized follow-up questions. The integrations made it very easy to push NPS feedback to email marketing automation tool.

Cons
None I can think of at present. It has been really helpful.
