I've booked a few flights and hotels with TravelBank. Good experience so far, responsive customer support when I did hit an issue.
Web UI is up-to-date and user friendly Employees are rewarded for smart choices while companies save money
Nothing really to dislike, to be honest. Some of the instructions passed through from the hotel was unclear, but that wasn't TravelBank's fault.

Often I find out I need to travel within a relatively short time frame. My mind is on getting the materials ready for the trip, not booking the trip itself. TravelBank always makes it easy and customer service helps me find the best options for where I'm going. What's more: they have always helped with trip changes and at the last minute. I'm so happy with TravelBank.
Sometimes I can see hotels and flights on Google that don't appear in search results for TravelBank. I have to check with a service agent to double check they are indeed not available.

Love that it scans the receipt pic for as much info as possible. Also love that TB will send report straight to accounting or cfo
Would like a little more control and the ability to add multiple expenses under one title. Also to change the expense report name

Very intuitive and straight-forward. My preferred booking method is Google Flights and this was right up there in terms of bringing the information into a streamlined UI. It makes decision-making much simpler when booking.
I flew Southwest, and the check-in process for Southwest is cutthroat. If you don't check in 24 hours at the dot, you get pretty lousy seating options. TravelBank didn't notify me of check-in until almost 10 minutes had passed since it opened up. This was long enough of a disparity that I got almost the very last boarding position. I set my own alarm for the return flight check-in to avoid this problem on the return flight. Check-in notification emails should go out exactly when it is time.

Despite the glitchiness it's definitely been worth it.
So much easier than our previous expense report system, where we were actually keeping paper copies of receipts. Expense report formulation is fairly straightforward and the submission / approval process is great.
TravelBank is glitchy. There was a total outage last week (Friday 1/20/23). There are little glitches that occur (sometimes the calendar jumps around; it's hard to click on the expense date you want). Users report other glitches from time to time.

Powerful mobile app makes it easy to take photos and record expenses, like that you can set up rewards for booking travel, can even hook up with your bank account
There aren't that many detractors that I can think of for why to use this application, a lot of it comes down to your preference on the user interface. As an admin the reporting can be a little hard to find for the first time but is otherwise very user friendly

Our account rep has been fantastic in addressing concerns, questions, and issues. I feel this company is growing and making continual improvements.
The mobile app makes uploading receipts a breeze…..open app, snap pic, go. For the 50 - 60 users in the field during the busy season this time saving app benefits both the user and management. Within the software, customization allowed for company specific coding which then produced the required report needed for import into the company’s accounting program.
The lack of automatic report integration into Quickbooks, via the Right Networks Remote Desktop, makes importing TB reports cumbersome. On line customer service needs improvement. 24/7 chat would be beneficial over an 8-5 Monday thru Friday service. Giving an automated chat response of ‘we’ll respond within a couple of hours’ does not bode well when time is critical.

I really enjoy most attributes of the system. It’s probably the best travel/procurement option that I’ve experienced in my 24 years.
I really enjoyed the functionality for booking your flights, consistent notifications of changes to travel plans, and the support provided by our side official.
The approval for Perdiem, and other cost, could be complicated within our system. There is a variance of Waze you can select which category to meet your needs. That can become confusing for someone just utilizing the system. Also, on the home screen, when selecting which category to utilize, Please make the reimbursement items horizontal rather than vertical. This way, you won’t miss scrolling down for your additional options.

As a large company, with locations in different states, and managers traveling to meet with clients, Clearlink was looking for a way to reduce travel spend, but overall have a seamless and streamlined user experience for booking travel. After demoing multiple platforms, Clearlink found TravelBank to be the ideal fit for our growing organization. Not only did TravelBank work heavily with us to refine our existing travel policy, their team is readily available for any questions that arise.
The TravelBank platform is extremely user friendly and intuitive. Their goal is to have you book a flight from start to finish in under a few minutes, and the process is simple and streamlined to take the headache out of booking travel. Aesthetically, the software is clean, well organized and visually pleasing. Adding users is simple with mass uploads, and deactivating employees is just as easy.
While not necessarily a con, TravelBank is continuing to develop new enhancements to their system, which means continued changes for our employees. That said, they’re positive changes! There are many items on the roadmap for this year, like rental cars, and as a company that has a high annual travel spend, we can already see we will rely heavily on the upcoming features. As a newer travel platform...

I emailed a question and had a response within a few hours.
First, The ability to quickly take a photo of the receipt and later fill in the details when I have time. Second the ability to sync my credit card to the software, and third, I don't travel often but I do like the ability to be able to do all purchase and planning via this software.
I've been using the software for a week and only added a few entries, so far I've had a seamless experience, As of now I haven't found any cons

We are glad we switched to this platform for expense report management. It's a struggle figuring out some of the features each month like running the report correctly to export into our accounting software.

It's way easier to file expense reports and see when you're getting reimbursed. It is also easier for company cards to be linked and queue up recent payments for submissions would helps keep all of our budgets update.
I liked the mobile option and that it was very clear and easy to use both on the laptop and phone.
Nothing really, everything on this software is helpful even if my company does not use all of its features. I could see where booking via travel bank would be easier than other websites.

The chat feature is okay. Representatives will respond fairly quickly.
When booking my flight to Bahrain, the following happened: 1. They only booked 4 of the 6 legs I requested, leaving my final destination as Kuwait City rather than Bahrain 2. They didn't add my frequent flyer number to the reservation as I had requested 3. My preferred airlines disappeared from the list the day I went to make my reservation. After waiting several hours, one of the airlines returned literally minutes before I was heading out of the office on a vacation. 4. My selected itinerary was originally in budget, but after entering my details and clicking the confirm button, the price magically jumped $200 and required my manager to approve. 5. Seat selection was not available on all legs, and the ones I selected were ignored when the system made my reservation.

The service seems very effective at helping coordinate expenses, and encouraging employees to easily book their own travel arrangements under one over-arching umbrella; however, for small teams that don't need extra expense tracking the features are a bit over-inflated and underwhelming on the administration front.
The online platform is very simple and straightforward; integration with company credit card is seamless; customer service is lightning fast!
Lacking in high level admin functions - managing multiple traveler profiles: i.e. adding in multiple frequent traveler programs simultaneously and to the same contact etc. I have not yet seen any price breaks/negotiated lower rates for any of my travel searches.

I like it very much, it works just like many other famous sites
It just does why I use it for :) Easy to find my desired flights and booking as well simple.
when flights are being shown and you select one, but for some reason you want to return to the findings it is not that handy.

It's been great. I don't use it a lot because sometimes it's easier to go direct to the airline. But when I need to go somewhere that Southwest doesn't fly, it has all the airlines in one place along with hotels. Plus, I have a few travel challenges and human beings were wonderful to deal with..
I like having a hybrid between a quick, easy, and in-expensive on-line booking experience with the hand holding of an old-fashioned travel agency. If I need to change something, I can either call or email a real person who responds quickly. It's great hybrid system for people who get sick of deal with AI chat bots.
It's only air and hotel so other items like rental cars are not included. And, it's not as deep as what we'd expect from a on-line booking service.

The most I like about this is how easy the app is to use and if you need help there is always someone there to answer the questions you have.
I didn't have much trouble booking with the app, as a new user it did take a minute to become familiar with the the search engine but after that booking my flight was very simple . The app also great technical support and responded promptly with any questions I did have .

Overall, it's nice to have employee profiles saved for repeat bookings, and I'll do it for the CC points, but I can't say I find anything else impressive.
I use TravelBank because we get Brex rewards for booking using their software.
I find it really frustrating to search for flights because you have to restart the whole process if you want to look at a different departure date or airline etc; and often times I try to book for other employees and if I don't have their information preloaded the fare will not be eligible by the time I press "book" and I have to restart the whole thing again. I also hate not being able to use TravelBank agents for most modifications, I might as well book directly with the airline.

Very good experience with Travelbank so far!
The dashboard is user friendly. You are able to see your travel plans at a simple click.
I wish you were able to make changes to reservations on your own. It seems I always have to contact support. It can take some time to wait for a rep. They are always helpful but in a world of quick access, it would be handy to changes things myself.

Makes expenses so much easier.
- Customer service is Top 1% - everyone I've interacted with from Connor to the rest of the travel team has been responsive and rewarding.
- Still confused about the travel booking since it doesn't verify/confirm my booking right away so for last-minute trips, I'm cautious about using it.
