Pros
I like the cost - so much cheaper than the software we were using.

Cons
This software is set up for easy use for real estate but we are a college. It is easy to set up templates though so it works for us.

I use dotloop for my real estate transactions. Dotloop is a must have for my real estate business

Pros
Sharing and signing files is super easy with dotloop. I never have to worry about losing a file either.

Cons
I one and only con would be the price. While it is expensive compared to others, the price tag is worth it.

I used DotLoop for several years until I discovered that zipForms is half the price. I can still access old files through Dotloop for 7 years from the origination date. I would have stayed with using DotLoop if it weren’t for the price.

Pros
The fact that your state’s real estate forms are automatically loaded and updated when changed by your state real estate board.

Cons
The price of the software is twice as expensive of ZipForms and sometimes my clients have had some problems because it didn’t seem user friendly to them.

It solves my problem of tracking sales and purchase transactions without having to fill up a bunch of information already accessible via MLS. It also has property management features which is great for a mom and pop's rental business like mine.

Pros
Everything. I like that you can use it to manage the sale, purchase, and management of properties. It integrates tightly with MLS. It has useful integrations with digital signatures, and more.

Cons
I didn't like that the pricing wasn't transparent. If you are more than just a realtor, you will have to get custom pricing. While I'm at it, I don't think the basic individual user tier is low enough to justify. There are so many services leeching off of real estate agents.

Dotloop is very easy to use, easy for your clients to use and keeps everything centralized and organized. I highly recommend for anyone doing multiple deals at a time.

Pros
The ease of use was by far the most impressive part of this software. All my clients were very impressed as well.

Cons
I wish there was a cheaper option for single agents. The product was offered for free through my last brokerage but my new one does not include it.

I love dot loop for the ease of use for both the customer and the business owner. It is easy to navigate and is available whenever I need to access it. I especially like that I can access it using my phone.

Pros
The software is easy to use with end users able to use the system within a very short period. The learning/educational resource is extensive and the support is available whenever I need them. The Dot Loop support team are very knowledgeable, and guide me through all my questions and needs. This system can be accessed from anywhere including through a phone app 24/7. Additionally records are secure and meet compliance regulations for record management. Ability to customize forms, make templates of frequently used documents, pull reports and more make this a smart choice for businesses.

Cons
Cost is a little high as compared to other electronic systems. Also adding additional users is possible but I wish the pricing were a bit lower if we are already and established user.

Overall, I liked the program a lot. When switching brokerages, I now use Digi-Signer which works great, is the cheaper option from what I heard, but there are a few things here and there that you need to work around, whereas dotloop had it all. Give them the leg-up there for sure.

Pros
This was the program used while with Keller Williams to control all of our real estate contracts. Their checklists made it easy to go down and see what needed to get done to get the paperwork approved for a transaction to get paid. While we had other agents willing to help in the office, it was pretty self-intuitive of how to use the program.

Cons
I don't have a con about the software. While it was included with our package with Keller Williams, I have heard it is a bit pricey...which I guess I did pay for in our fees, but not directly.

Dotloop pricing strategy is missing huge market potential.

Overall, dotloop has a much easier learning curve and fits my needs much greater than other options, particularly with in host signing for older clients. It is easy for clients to figure out esignatures and walks them through it thoroughly.

Pros
This software is the most user friendly that I have found for real estate transactions. It offers in host signing which I use all the time. It is so easy to review history and see where I am in the middle of negotiations.

Cons
The pricing strategy is either free or $300. There are so many agent that do not need unlimited transactions. A lower priced option for a limited number of transactions is needed. I help many newer agents that love this software but can't justify $300 when they may only do 20 transactions per year.

Dot Loop is okay. Many agents send documents through it but I still don't think it is the best software out there.

Pros
Dot Loop is great because a lot of us in the real estate industry use it and it is easy to get the hang of even if you don't use it as your primary software.

Cons
Dot Loop is NOT as user friendly as some others out there. My personal favorite is Docusign although I don't know the differences in price.

It is overall a good platform. It does connect better based on what your computer is running than other platforms.

Pros
It is a fairly straight forward product. It seems to be intuitive and mostly easy to navigate. The ability to use my app and move folders around and send from wherever is convenient.

Cons
The price seems high compared to so many other platforms. I get that you are essentially paying for server storage space, but $31.99 a MONTH seems high.

Dotloop Improvement

I do believe that dotloop has the capability of offering more to its consumers. I prefer that my CRM is separated from my transaction site in order to reduce confusion. Docusign does allow for more integration between various applications and there is a small price difference between the two, with Docusign being a little less expensive. Some agents also prefer Zipform due to ease of use and being preferred by their local real estate commission. Also with Zipform the use of the software is included in real estate dues so it's difficult to justify paying for another program that does most of what you're needing/wanting.

Pros
Pros: Dotloop offer Real Estate templates, ability to fill out forms, and allows for agents and clients to electronically sign documents without having to meet face-to-face during their already busy lives.

Cons
Cons: Dotloop is a little more difficult to navigate and use unlike its competitors, DocuSign and Zipform. I seem many agents request that documents not be sent to them via dotloop due to the complexity and lack of ease of use. Sometimes it's more beneficial to have a more simplistic software program.

Overall experience has been exceptional. The cost/benefit is spot on. Affordable and easy to use. It is truly the only product that I have been able to use with confidence on my phone. Living on the Lake of the Ozarks, we are out on the water all the time. I could not imagine trying to do my job without this product.

Pros
I am not very tech savy, and frankly just scared of technology. Dotloop is super easy to use on my laptop and also my phone. I like the fact that all parties get the information at the same time and can sign whenever, it does not have to go in order like some. I also really like the ability to see where things are at with the activity button. Customer service has been amazing. I have never had that over long wait. The reps have always been English speaking and well educated, easy to talk to and understand, and they understand me.

Cons
I wish I could get the same benefit from the software as a single user, that teams get. I would like to have folders for buyers and sellers that house the same 4 documents that are needed on each. I would also like ability to put old loops into folders.

Overall my experience with Dotloop has been great. I would certainly recommend to my fellow Realtors.

Pros
I have used this software for several years. I like that I can create folders for purchases and listings that have all the documents I'll need for that transaction. It saves a lot of time. Other programs make me pay separate to have electronic signing. I have that all in one with Dotloop. Some real estate boards offer it free or price reduced for members.

Cons
One thing I would change is access to other county documents. We work across county lines but usually only belong to one real estate board. If your brokerage belongs to multiple boards you are supposed to be able to access those forms but its not clear.
