Contactually helps me keep on top of my contacts, relationships and follow ups. I love how user friendly and aesthetically pleasing and simple the website and app as well as the functionality are.
the real time linking with your email to show you emails to and from the client....and the newly added toolbar aspect whereby a right hand extension opens when you are in an email with a client or affiliated vendor
the follow up features/emails etc. were somewhat lacking...however, they have improved this aspect incredibly

I have been using, or should I say paying, for Contactually for the past year. I was looking for a CRM that would keep my contacts organized and in one place, and one which would help me follow-up with leads and prospects. Initially, Contactually seemed like the CRM for me. I loved the Outlook plug-in and the social intergrations. However, things started to go sideways quickly. Some of my contacts started syncing incorrectly with Facebook contacts--merging completely different people into one. Contacts that I deleted (repeatedly) were re-appearing with outdated info. Support was quick to respond, but they couldn't provide an answer, or a solution. They blamed Facebook and essentially said there was nothing more that they could do. I eventually had to un-link my Facebook account. About three weeks later, they contacted me to say that they had discovered a bug and that it should be fixed. Some time after that, they discontinued integration with Facebook. The next issue I had was the Outlook plug-in started malfunctioning. I would get error messages when sending email. Again, Support was quick to respond, however they couldn't locate the source of the problem. To be honest, I've never explored the marketing aspects of Contactually--the ability to set up automated email programs etc. I think I knew I wouldn't stick with the system long-term so I didn't bother to set anything up. I've been searching for another (cheaper) CRM for the past month.
I love the clean interface. Support was always very responsive, if somewhat limited in their ability to provide answers. As far as relationship management, the system does a good job of prompting you to contact people you haven't interacted with in a while. It also gives you a letter grade every week to let you know how you're doing, which is fun and motivating. There are lots of free webinars offered on how to use Contactually and how to improve your business. The Outlook plug-in is great (when it works). I have colleagues who love and swear by Contactually.
For me, the cost is too much for a system that I am not using to its full potential. In the process of trying to find another CRM, I've encountered plenty alternatives at less than 1/3 the cost. The inability of Support to identify and solve problems I had with the system is also a con. The only Social integrations are Twitter and Linked In, so the benefits of those to me are slim. The bottom line is that I would probably stick with Contactually if the price was right--and for me that means no more than $10/month.
The software is very user friendly and stores everything you would ever want in one tidy place but it does not accurately store the data. It has deleted contacts, merged unrelated contacts and added incorrect info to contact profiles, rendering it more dangerous than helpful. I have used CRMs for decades and this was the best product I have ever used before it started corrupting all of the data in it.
Contactually is super smooth and easy to use. It will store everything you need and do everything you would want a CRM to do and more. I tried thousands of products before moving to this one about 3 years ago. It is user friendly and pretty, but read the HUGE con below before choosing it.
While I think Contacually is the best CRM I have found to date and it will do everything you want, it has now mixed up all of my data. It has merged unrelated contact together, deleted contacts, added job titles and profiles to contact that don't belong to them. I am a HEAVY CRM user and now I can't trust the data I put into Contactually because the phone number I dial may or may not belong to the person Contactually has associated it with and may of my notes on interactions with people have just disappeared. BE VERY WARY of this product. I have lost decades of data on over 20,000 contacts because this software shuffled and deleted my data. With all of its flash and function, it did me far more harm than good because I will never be able to get the missing data back nor straighten out who is really who.

I found Contactually as I upgraded my business's ATS. This is the perfect compliment, it ties in with Google email so anything I do in one system, shows up in the other. I've been looking for years and this is the first one that appealed to me for the features and the price.
Ease of use, love the Contactually Chrome Addon that allows me to save articles for forwarding. I appears very personal when sending these to clients; the response rate was through the roof compared to regular emails.
I was disappointed by the 100% lack of follow through from the sales rep. Additionally, because I did the 30day trial using my old Gmail address, it is a mess to this day. Plus, for some reason, clients were duplicated and they still have not been able to fix it. So, use your account you'll be using from day one or do not do the trial.

We are still relatively new to the service (just over one year). Caroline has made a major difference in making Contactually integrate with our other systems.
Caroline Long is our representative. We were a client of Contactually when they offered their new Concierge Service. We signed up immediately as it was just what we needed. We were not fully using the tools within Contactually when Caroline was assigned to our account. We are very happy with her work and would recommend her and this service for other Contactually accounts.
We need texting within Contactually. We can only cut and paste presently to record these interactions.

These categories can greatly benefit from the software as it fully covers their special need to categorize collaborators, clients and contractors of different projects and companies, and then follow a certain automated actions list for that category.
The intuitive dashboard allows users to take a quick glance of their tasks, reminders, information about relationships, communication statistics and due dates. The general management grade stands at a prominent position here, and various suggestions are offered in order to improve it immediately.
All items on the dashboard are generated automatically from the user’s action scheduling which can use different follow up settings to get notified in certain time intervals and via various means such as email and phone. This way users basically never miss a due date and you can track your progress in an easier and more accurate way.
One of Contactually’s biggest time savers is the email templates feature that helps users build a variety of communication approaches. Using this feature, users can quickly send emails of effective content while at the same time remaining personal and dedicated to each recipient.
To create, delete and edit templates, users go into Settings/Email Templates and then click on the corresponding button. From there one can easily use the provided fields of data that can be later populated by the recipient’s information such as his/her name, phone number, company and last time of contact. Every time the “follow up” button is pressed while on Dashboard, users are provided with all available templates and by clicking them they add them to their message.
One of the things that make Contactually stand out when compared to similar applications is its ability to share articles. Users can quickly share interesting articles and media (video, images) with their contacts, based on their set interests and preferences. This way people will get positively engaged and relationships with contacts will be kept warm and active.
Using this feature is as simple as adding a special button in the browser. This button adds the article you’re reading to your Contactually Articles to Share when pressed. This is simply done through Settings/Articles Sharing from where users can drag the button to their bookmarks bar, or simply enter the article url and share it will all contacts, or accounts of certain buckets.
For contacting actions that happen in canonical and/or pre-set time intervals, there is the Programs tool that will free users from that burden. Programs are sets of actions that concern particular buckets or contacts, and can be executed either automatically or after the user’s approval.
With programs, users can automate time and resource hungry operations such as the execution of drip email marketing campaigns, the sending of connection requests to all contacts in all supported social media platforms, and the sending/receiving of follow-up reminders from and to important contacts.
While all the above are great tools to help users get things done in a much easier and more efficient way, the Pipelines screen is where it all adds up and ones work can be actually evaluated, the progress accurately estimated and the processes closely monitored. Through this visualization, users can feel sure that apart from the Contactually notifications, they can also check their Pipelines and get a complete picture of what is to be done, what is in the process and what is due.
While Pipelines can be used for monitoring purposes, they also constitute a powerful management tool. From the Pipelines screen, users can set task priorities, measure and take advantage of sale opportunities, share info with colleagues and collaborate towards the completion of team goals.
