Qwilr Features In Depth

Building Webpages

At the core of Qwilr is a simple, intuitive webpage builder. Instead of coding webpages themselves, users may rely on templates to generate new proposals, resumes, and portfolios or build their webpages from scratch.

Select a template based on the product you’re making and the aesthetic you’re going for, then use its webpage editor to customize your Qwilr Page with unique content. You can save your page (or individual blocks within it) to re-use again, and you can even change a Qwilr Page after it’s been sent to the client.

Generating Quotes and Proposals

Many people use Qwilr’s Quote Block to create quotes and proposals. These quotes can then be sent as links, which potential clients can review in their web browsers on any device.

To create a quote with Qwilr, just select the Quote Block and enter your prices. An ‘Accept’ button will allow your potential clients to agree to your proposals or quotes online, without relying on back-and-forth emails (e-signature and ‘Pay Now’ options are also available on quotes.) Users can also modify taxes and currencies.

Tracking Analytics

Analytics is a major reason why professionals switch from software like PowerPoint or Word to Qwilr. With Qwilr, they can be immediately notified when their Qwilr Pages have been viewed, and they can see which links were clicked on or how much time was spent on specific components.

Every view and click is tracked within Qwilr. You can even see which blocks, or parts of your Qwilr Pages, have been viewed the most. This information can be useful for determining what information potential clients are most interested in reviewing. It may also be useful if you plan on A/B testing different versions of your Qwilr Page.

Digital Signatures

Digital signatures are a legally acceptable form of agreement, which is why Qwilr has integrated e-signature capabilities into its platform. Potential clients are encouraged to ‘Accept’ proposals or quotes by filling out a form with their names, email addresses, and company names, and they can then add an e-signature to make the acceptance complete.

When the digital signature option is enabled for your quotes and a potential client is accepting your quote, he or she will be prompted to include a digital signature. Details of this signature are stored in your Audit Trail.

Pay Now

Qwilr is all about streamlining and modernizing clients’ sales cycles, so users can allow clients to instantly pay for accepted quotes and proposals from right within their Qwilr Pages — via Stripe.

Wrong fit

The Qwilr sales team pitched Qwilr to us as a contract management tool, when in fact it is designed for building proposals for digital services.

Pros

Clean user interface. Conceptually, if you are building simple proposals they can come across as quite visually appealing.

Cons

Document management is complicated, it's very easy to lose a specific document/template, especially if you have a handful of users all creating documents.

Great Tech For CPQ

Great looking product - I've been tracking Qwilr for many years now and have been very impressed with the product they've built. For sales orgs looking for a CPQ solution, this gives sales reps a lot of freedom to be creative without losing control of the company brand guidelines.

Pros

Really like the widgeted approach to building components for a proposal that others on the team could use and the integrations with other platforms, most notably Stripe.

Cons

A few parts of the product are too rigid - I wanted to insert a video into a section but was obliged to put a text box over it which didn't make sense for my use case. Some navigational challenges to find things as well.

We love being able to deliver interactive proposals to our clients. The feature set and advancement of the service have been less than impressive after our initial sign up.

Pros

Ability to quickly create interactive proposal for our clients based on templates and common needs.

Cons

PDF export isn't high enough quality to actually use (instead we make a PDF manually upon request, which is rare) and the app could be more flexible for non-developers, but I understand the options are available for customization devs just aren't often in that area of the business to make those edits.

Easy cloning of proposals, easy for any level employee to see how a project plan was created, it's easy to drop the link of the project into our project management software as well as send along with invoices.

Try all the apps in this space from the perspective of your prospects: Evaluate them by looking at their templates first because that'll give you the best idea of many of your prospects' first impressions of your company that each app can provide.

Most amazing proposal tool!

The speed at which we were able to create proposals and reduce friction in our sales process is priceless not to mention the feedback from prospects-- "this is the best proposal we have ever seen."

The one solution for all sales documents

Before Qwilr, invoices took us a day to prepare and now we can churn out any sales documents in a matter of minutes.

Pros

We were able to do all of our sales documentation using Qwilr.

Cons

The price seems to rather high. Also, most of the useful features are only included in the business version. their basic paid version lacks most of the features.
