Great Value and Friendly People

I think that everyone involved in a business really should add texting as a way to communicate with current customers and leads. I find that a lot of people don't answer the phone, but they will reply back with a text.

Pros

We switched over to Textline over 6 months ago from another texting service. There is so much that we get from using the service they provide. I like that Textline allows us to text our customers and leads from our landline phones. We have set up "shortcuts" within the system for our most common text responses and we are able to share this within our organization easily. We can also send out "announcements",...

Cons

Switching over was very easy. I cannot think of one thing that would need to be improved for our use.

Easy, Affordable and Friendly!

From set-up to on going questions/customer support, everyone that we have encountered has been super friendly and extremely helpful. We are a small company that focuses on the customer experience and its a breathe of fresh air to work with another company that has a similar culture. If we have a questions, we have a reply from Textline within minutes offering a solution with an awesome attitude.

Pros

The website is easy to navigate and set up our "shortcut" texts. Everyone in our organization has been able to us this product without having to be trained, huge plus!

Cons

Not really a con...more of a want. For us, it would be awesome to create some user defined fields so that we can use placeholders. We are an automotive business and the ability to add vehicle information and date information would be amazing!

Textline has been a major game changer as we migrate from traditional call and email to sms communications! [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] on the support team has been an exceptional help and as a Manager of Customer SUpport Operations I would bring this great CS on the Localcoin Team in a heartbeat! Kudos to Textline a definite value add, and an even better investment!

Saved us during Covid-19

This software was the "one" IT solution that saved our medical practice during covid. What we realized is that most, if not all of our patients were very happy with this experience. The main goal was to keep our patients safe and out of the waiting room until their room was ready. Trying to do this over the phone would have been a communications nightmare. When Covid goes...if ever, we will continue to use this form of communication.

Pros

The product is easy to use, implementation was 10 mins and staff training was easy. All the buckets you want to check when bringing new software to an organization. Product support is easy and anytime we had an issue ( happened only twice in 9 months) they fixed the issue immediately. The platfrom/dashboard is basic and so easy to use. They don't junk up the screen with options or functions that get in the way. They keep it simple which is what you want. The reports you can generate really help us manage critical times and staff output. Definitely a plus.

Cons

Searching for past conversations and numbers is a little clunky. My biggest issue is the cost, now with that being said the cost doesn't outweigh the benefits we are getting by being able to communicate with our Pt's remotely in a HIPPA compliant environment.

Just what we needed!

Excellent experience thus far. VERY easy to use and show others how to use. GREAT support, fast and friendly. Good function features for the price point. Just what we needed.

Pros

Ease of use, price, flexibility, support, ability to download all conversations.

Cons

So far, I can't find anything I dislike that is significant. I'd like "shaded out" conversations to be just a bit darker, easier to read. I'd prefer to hit return and not CTRL Return to send a message.

Our experience with Textline

Our experience was great. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] was fantastic to deal with. She checked in with me periodically to see if I needed help or training, I never had to seek her out. The great thing is, the software was so easy to use, I had very little questions.

Pros

Textline was so easy to use. It made contacting clients with updates more efficient. And we found we got faster responses when texting clients, than calling clients. We also were able to have our employees keep their personal phones for personal use because of using Textline. The phone app options was also wonderful as we were able to see any emergency texts that came in after hours.

Cons

Price was a bit high, but we saved time, so money well spent

Great Software at a Great Price

I really enjoyed using Textline for collection purposes. Our department was outsourced which is the only reason we are no longer using this product. Customer service is always a concern when jumping into something new and Textline's customer service was great! I do highly recommend this product.

Pros

The software was very easy to use. I liked being able to set the time when texts would be sent. I liked being able to converse with anyone that responded. However there is an option to have a canned response. I never used that option but I'm sure it would benefit most companies. The customer service was great and answered in a very timely manner.

Cons

My only issue is with the time zone. I would have liked to be able to set the time zone so that I wouldn't have to change it each time. I believe they were going to fix this (maybe they fixed it and I didn't notice?).

Great service and support

I’m very happy with Textline. Their service was reliable and their customer service was always friendly and responsive.

Pros

Textline’s pricing was competitive and integrated into our Zendesk Support instance very well.

Cons

Sending videos via text message wasn’t well supported, and the web UI/UX can be a bit clunky.

Overall, very positive. I list a few cons, but the frankly, it would be a mistake to switch to a cheaper option. I really am a fan and recommend it to my customers.

Pros

the UI is really a time saver. We send out text sequences to service our retail customers. the saved templates are my favorite feature. super fast support.

Cons

it can get pricey really quickly. It can feel like you are nickel and dimed, but the product is far superior than any i have used. i don't like having to text about support, but they are fast.

Very Effective!!

Pros

Overall, the product is extremely effective and easy to use. Textline has allowed us to instantly communicate, mobilize, and get feedback from leads and existing customers. The average response time to our campaigns is minutes, which gives us a significant advantage over our competitors that only use email marketing. I would highly recommend using Textline.

Cons

Two things: 1. I provided the issue with the 'Conversation History' with the customer support team and found that it is a limitation within the Textline system. It would be a rather easy enhancement to include and believe it would help many customers. Please see my support ticket submission (as it would take a while to explain here). 2. If you offered a lower cost monthly tier (similar to an entry level tier), I believe more companies would be inclined to try it. To many, it is a rather new technology to incorporate. There are many small businesses and larger businesses that could really benefit from this, but don't want to pay the monthly fee. Once they try it, I believe it will be a 'no brainer' for them to upgrade to the $30 package.

What a great platform!

The support is UNMATCHED. They are always there and QUICKLY. If you need anything from their team, they will make it happen no matter what. I don't think I've had such amazing support from a software-- or basically any company.

Pros

So intuitive. Everything was so easy to figure out and use.

Cons

The pricing structure wasn't particularly clear when I signed up, but we made it work!

The Best Texting Software On The Market

Pros

The interface is so easy, a baby can use it. Using this software revolutionized our company and changed the way in which we interact with clients and customers. It has positively impacted our business already, even though we've only had it for less than two months.

Cons

In my opinion, when looking at cost, the price we currently pay warrants having more agents. Unfortunately, the ability to have more agents on our account costs more.

Textline was a great choice for us! Easy to use, fast to implement and ready to roll in days not weeks. It was a great solution for our curbside service during the Covid-19 pandemic and beyond.

It's a great product but pricing is mid tier.
