Adopted this to several businesses 4 years ago and have never looked back. Easy to use for me and my staff. Ideal for holiday planning and planning rotas in advance
Been using this since day one and have set it up for several different businesses, really easy to use and really efficient
Doesn't work well enough with i-devices which can be frustrating at times. If that was fixed it would all be brilliant

FindMyShift is excellent for getting everything done that you need - scheduling a lot of employees, flexible and easy to change pay rates, reporting and budget views. I even use it as a notice board - part of employee shifts I can leave notes with instructions for my workers, which is excellent. The downside, and what may eventually push me to another service, is that I make all of the shift changes myself. Employees email me when they'd like to swap shifts and unfortunately this leaves me at the center of an ever increasing employee base that needs me to make detailed changes. There is a Timesheet feature but it seems pretty complicated and wouldn't serve our purposes, although I'm considering taking a third look at this to see if it's really not possible for us to use.

I have to buy it because the owner requires we do but I find the product to be unreliable and glitchy
Everyone can use their phone to clock in and out
It is a very glitchy app and most of the time my team can not sign in and out on it, or they do sign in but when they go to sign out it says they haven’t.

mobile access for staff. recording of staff holidays.
Would be helpful if there was a function that when making an amendment to someones shift it gives the option to map this change across the rota. Currently have to do it manually. also for staff to end holiday request it won't work form the app they have to use the desktop site

Very pleasant so far. Been a customer for 14 months now.
Easily accessibility for the crew members User friendly for scheduling and correcting times.
Sometimes the app won't connect ( on older devices ) not necessarily findmyshifts fault.

It is very easy to use.
The design is not confusing and it is easy to see the shifts, I like how you can use filters and hide staff with no shifts.
Sometimes it is hard to hover over and publish the square but not very often, it may be due to poor internet connection.

Easy to use and set up. Not tied into long contracts for a system that does not work for us (this is an issue we have had in the past). Employees find it easy to use from their phones.
Online tutorials are good but you need to set the time aside to work through as they can be long winded. Easy to set up locations, employees and the copy and paste facilities are excellent. What use to take at least two days to complete now takes half a day. Like the ability to see multiple weeks alongside each other. Client decides how long they want to use the system for rather than being tied into software agreements that do not work for the client.
Find it over complicated to set the client charge out rate so cannot use the reports as we would like.

We have used Fingerpick My Shift for several years, no hesitation to keep renewing.
Love the ease of scheduling shifts and for staff to request leave. Permissions allow you to streamline your scheduling options to your company needs.
No consolidation in reports in the hours section. When entering information into the notes section in employee details, when you update profile the information can sometimes disappear from the notes.

The experience has been fantastic, it has help us utilise our time in other area.
The fact that all staff and the management team are able to communicate through the platform hence saving us a lot of time.
Clocking in and out still pose an issue for us, but with the help of your department, i think we can resolve it.

More efficient scheduling (than using Excel spreadsheets) - cost saving Easy to manage staff requests, holiday and time off
We have been using findmyshift for scheduling in our business (hostel, 30 employees) for a year now - having previously only used excel spreadsheets for our rota. This software has helped us schedule more accurately according to our business level which helped us save hours as well as relieving our team during the busier periods. It's use is very straightforward and does pretty much anything you need...
It is a bit fiddly at times, and does seem more catered towards office businesses (9 to 6, Monday to Friday) than a 24 hours, 7 day a week business like ours. The app (for phones, Android and Apple) is a great plus but could be improved upon - The way the shifts are displayed is not super clear, the filter is hit & miss, and how you navigate the app is not the best.

Very good software and easy to use. Saves time in quick payroll and holiday calculations and very flexible.
Shows shifts with costs instantly for admin users and makes payroll calculations easier than previous software.
Nothing bad in my time using the software. I've watched the training videos and found bits I didn't know it did, which make casual staff holiday pay calculations much easier for example.

Makes life much easier - really enjoy how simple it is to use and that it links with Slack which we use daily also
This software is incredibly easy to use and my favourite function is the ability to delegate facility areas so we can clearly see which departments the staff are working in. With two sites and a variety of different but equally important job roles this makes life simple.
I would like time off requests to be easier for staff to use.

Initially, we trialed Find My Shift purely for the ability to share the roster amongst our management team. We have been using findmyshift for quite a few years now. We run a 24/7 operation with about 15 different shift times, so efficient management of staff timetables is absolutely essential. As our business has grown from 15 employees to over 40 we have found this scheduling website to be invaluable. I can't imagine going back to our previous spreadsheet schedule which resulted in staff turning up late to shifts or not coming in at all as they weren't aware of late schedule changes. Automatic syncing with employee calendars and the time-clock function really help to set this software ahead of anything else I've tried. I'm sure we will be using findmyshift for years to come.
It's easy to use and has a lot of functions
I wasn't aware until trying other software products that findmyshift had a time-card function. So I would suggest somehow making users aware of these other functions. I'm not sure of the best way to do that - maybe a popup for managers every few logins so with different functions or tips?

I have been a consistent user for over 2 years now. I issue my roster weekly. None of my staff (who are mostly younger than me) have any issue with the roster.
I was originally drawn to this software as my original digital roster program simply priced themselves out of the market and I needed to entertain alternatives. I liked that I was provided a template at no charge to trial. This enabled me to properly road test and gauge if it was software I could navigate.
I had to ask numerous questions to seek advice about populating rosters. What is obvious now, was not when I originally started using this software. Again, this is most likely operator error. I could see hours and costs on my previous roster platform, and hide them from the printed version. I can't do that with findmyshift, at least not to my knowledge. I would like to if it is possible?

We converted from spreadsheets to using findmyshift, and have been very happy. We no longer have problems with employees not checking the schedule, we can email it to them. It has also helped our time off requests being tracked. My only problem is when an employee forgets to clock in, we can't change the time, so we aren't using that feature. Overall saves us a lot of time making and changing the schedules and keeps our employees informed.

Thanks for leaving your review! The time clock times are kept read-only so that they can be used as an audit trail of exactly who clocked-in and out at that time. Of course, this is not going to work for payroll and reporting, which is why payroll and reports all hang off timesheets (approved time clock times). Simple to access and use. Mobile access for all users. Easy to edit and change. Access from anywhere
Could be a little more intuitive. Repeating different individual rota every few weeks or months does not seem possible.

Great. Easy to use, easy to teach new users, easy for cleaners to see their roster and accept shifts, and easy to track hours for sites. Love it. Customer support is possibly the best I have come across.
It's simple to use. The reports help us ensure we are meeting minimum shift requirements and rostering the correct number of hours. I like that it's simple because that keeps the cost low. That was very important for me when selecting this product. I didn't need all the bells and whistles that we wouldn't use.
It should definitely allow you to save many different templates and use them whenever needed.

I'm doing roster for 24 doctors in our department. I can make changes to roster from any computer and relay message to staff members about these changes seamlessly via FMS. The app is great and very easy to use. We've managed to cut paper printouts of rosters as well.
Great flexibility between facility view and staff view. Different filters and preset filters allow me to tailor rota for different areas in hospital. Product support is excellent. New features added regularly.
I haven't managed to coordinate our leave cycle which runs from 1 April to 30 March with the leave reports which appears to take annual allowance from 1 Jan-31 Dec. It might be possible but haven't found feature yet.

It really has eased operation in the business. We are confident in Findmyshift and are very pleased we gave it a go.
Logic process. Simple language, At the start I did contact support by chat and they were responsive, efficient and quickly got us processing our information. I was really impressed. We have had no need to contact support since we first implemented find my shift.
I would like to be able to block some information from managers, for example pay rates. Notes on staff. It would be better that all managers could not see all staff and other mangers information.

I find this roster system very user friendly, for both completing the roster and for our employees. The flexibility of being able to create multiple roles and locations works perfectly for our employees.
It's very easy to use. Creating a roster is easy to do with multiple layout options and roles. The app is very simple to use.
We would like to be able to improve the unavailability option to be able to be split to times rather than juts a full.
