Value for money rating:
Of 57 reviews that provide robust commentary on Keeper Security's price and value, mention it in a positive light.
Some reviewers find Keeper Security offers good value for the range of features, multi-platform support, and security it provides, especially when compared to other solutions. They appreciate that the paid plans unlock useful functionalities like device syncing, additional storage, and advanced login options, and some feel the convenience and peace of mind justify the cost. Some users report that the initial price is reasonable, though they note a significant increase in renewal fees after the first year. Reviewers appreciate the availability of free trials and occasional free subscriptions through workplaces, but they indicate that the free version is limited and pushes users toward paid plans. Some users say the pricing is affordable and cost-efficient for their needs, while others feel the price is slightly high but acceptable for the benefits received.
On the negative side, some reviewers feel Keeper Security is more expensive than competitors and dislike paying extra for features or storage they do not need. They indicate frustration with upselling tactics, unclear plan distinctions, and the inability to customize plans for only the features they want. Some users report dissatisfaction with unexpected price increases, renewal charges, and the lack of flexibility in downgrading or canceling subscriptions. Reviewers indicate that for some organizations, especially NGOs, the cost is not competitive or affordable.

Keeper Security FAQs
Keeper is a digital vault and password manager designed for use by both businesses and individuals, which uses a combination of PBKDF2 and 256-bit AES encryption to reduce the risk of data breaches. Keeper can be used across web browsers, computers, tablets, and smartphones, with user data being encrypted and decrypted at the device level, rather than in the cloud or on Keeper’s servers. Fingerprint identification for login and two-factor authentication are both supported, in addition to Keeper DNA, a solution which uses smart watches and other personal devices to confirm user identity. Keeper can create high strength random passwords for users, allowing management to enforce password policies and monitor users’ compliance through reports and dashboards, plus automatic notifications. User access to sensitive data can be managed, with only privileged accounts allowed access to critical systems. Keeper also manages privileged account credential lifecycles with role-based access permissions, controlled credential sharing, and scheduled rotation of passwords.
