User opinions about Keeper Security price and value

Value for money rating:

Of 59 reviews that provide robust commentary on Keeper Security's price and value, mention it in a positive light.

Some users report that Keeper Security offers good value for money, especially when compared to competitors, and they appreciate the range of features included in paid plans such as multi-platform support, touch login, and device portability. Reviewers indicate that the cost is justified by the convenience and security provided, with some saying that the price is affordable or cost-efficient for their needs. Some reviewers find the initial price reasonable, but note that subsequent renewals can be significantly higher. Users think the availability of free trials is helpful for evaluating the product before committing to a subscription. Some reviewers feel that the paid plans unlock many useful features, while others say that the free version is limited and pushes users toward upgrading. Reviewers appreciate that the product is worth the premium for those who value security and additional functionalities.

On the negative side, some users say that Keeper Security is more expensive than similar services and express frustration with frequent price increases and upselling of add-ons like extra storage or API access. Some reviewers feel that they pay for features they do not need or use, and that the pricing structure is confusing or not competitive, especially for NGOs or small teams. Users think the inability to customize plans or remove unwanted features detracts from its value for money.

Q. What is Keeper Security used for?

Keeper is a digital vault and password manager designed for use by both businesses and individuals, which uses a combination of PBKDF2 and 256-bit AES encryption to reduce the risk of data breaches. Keeper can be used across web browsers, computers, tablets, and smartphones, with user data being encrypted and decrypted at the device level, rather than in the cloud or on Keeper’s servers. Fingerprint identification for login and two-factor authentication are both supported, in addition to Keeper DNA, a solution which uses smart watches and other personal devices to confirm user identity. Keeper can create high strength random passwords for users, allowing management to enforce password policies and monitor users’ compliance through reports and dashboards, plus automatic notifications. User access to sensitive data can be managed, with only privileged accounts allowed access to critical systems. Keeper also manages privileged account credential lifecycles with role-based access permissions, controlled credential sharing, and scheduled rotation of passwords.
