Overall, I feel Indeed was a great start up for me. I’ve landed a lot of great jobs on indeed & I would definitely recommend Indeed to any person that’s starting their career for entry level positions
What I like most about indeed is how it’s categorized for occupations & all the filters they offer when the job search activity. The resume build is really unique as well on how they save it to your profile & when you apply you can make any changes to it constantly, as well as choose if you want to omit any personal content information for each job.
We’ll unfortunately, I did not find Indeed was very help as my work history began to build over the years which brought me to the conclusion that this site is good for finding entry level jobs & supplemental income.

Other than our inconsistencies with our previous account team, our experience has been as expected. Indeed is our go-to job board that we can count on to produce a hire.
Indeed is easy to use and their tracking/analytic data has improved over the years. I am extremely hands on and like to set up, pause, delete our own sponsored job campaigns which they allow you to do. Finally was able to get our jobs scraped from our ATS Greenhouse onto Indeed so we do not have to manually post jobs anymore (THANK GOODNESS!). We hire about 30% of our employees from indeed.
Customer Support/Account Managers! Worked with our previous account manager for the last 4 years. He seemed spread too thin and was never my go-to for quick responses to questions I had about our account. He would consistently send e-mails about touching base and go unresponsive after we would respond about times we were available for a call. On multiple occasions we would have a call scheduled, would...

I so much enjoy the well structured flow of the job application feature. You can apply for jobs with just a few clicks. Also, Indeed allows me to upload/save multiple resumes.
Initially, almost everything was perfect. But Indeed recently started sending spams of job postings that don't even match my profile, which is creepy.

It extends to a huge information base of employment opportunity postings from different sources, an easy to use interface, and extra elements to assist clients with remaining coordinated and informed all through the pursuit of employment process
Easy to use point of interaction and search usefulness, which permits clients to effectively look and channel work postings in view of different rules, for example, work title, area, organization, and pay range. This makes it more straightforward for work searchers to secure the positions that match their abilities and inclinations
site's calculation in some cases focuses on supported work postings over pertinent query items, which can make it more provoking for work searchers to secure the positions that match their abilities and preferencess

Overall, now that I have a solid foundation and recruiting process, I really like the candidate diversity it has provided.
Indeed is so different from any of the other big job boards out there in terms of candidate pool and sourcing experience, though the job posting / application review is pretty standard. Indeed used to offer a pay-per-view of contact information for $1 per view. However, they have moved to a subscription based system, which might be more challenging for individual recruiters, but as an agency recruiter I prefer it. The dashboard is not fancy or bright, it is bare and basic, which makes it more user friendly and readable for seasoned recruiters.
The basic nature of the dashboard is potential a con as well. New recruiters who rely on call-to-action buttons and ATS integration for candidate management might struggle at first, to my knowledge Indeed is not integrated into any of the ATS I've used, so remembering to search for a pre-existing candidate record and manual resume parsing is required. Indeed also provides an "@indeedmail" email address for every candidate, and tends to populate it's Indeed formatted resume over the candidate's original, so often times their direct email is not provided.

Indeed is generally well-regarded as a useful platform for job seekers. Its user-friendly interface, wide range of job listings, and job alert system are some of the features that users appreciate. Additionally, being a free platform, it is accessible to many users who are looking for a budget-friendly option. However, some users may encounter fake job postings or scams on the platform, and others may find that the platform's limitations make it challenging to find the right job. Additionally, users should be aware of the competition for job postings and the potential lack of communication from employers.
User-friendly interface: Indeed has a simple and intuitive interface that makes it easy to search for jobs and apply for them directly through the platform.Wide range of job listings: The platform offers thousands of job postings across various industries, making it a valuable resource for job seekers.
Fake job postings: Some users have reported encountering fake job postings or scams on the platform, which can be frustrating and time-consuming.Limited job opportunities: While Indeed offers a wide range of job listings, some users may find that the platform does not have job postings that match their specific needs or requirements.

Very reputable site for looking for jobs
It is easy to apply for jobs on indeed. It is also very easy to search for jobs and see which ones are currently out there.
Sometimes the recruiters do not respond to your submission. This may be because a job listing has been filled and they did not take the job posting down.

I have landed every job with Indeed and have hired many people through the website as well! It's my go-to software for both hiring and getting hired. In my experience, this is the platform with the biggest professional following.
I have used Indeed as both an Employee and Employer. As an Employee, it's super easy and fast to apply to multiple jobs in your industry at once, and search and find jobs in your area. As an Employer, I love how all of the candidates are organized for review in one spot, making it easy to sort through many applicants. Reaching out to applicants is easy too through the messaging system.
It can be a little difficult to use the Indeed mobile app as an applicant. First, it makes it confusing to apply to jobs since the app recommends other positions in the middle of your application, so you have to make sure you follow all the way through to the "Apply" button. Then, after you apply, your search resets and it takes you back to the beginning of your search results. It's definitely not as seamless or user friendly as some other mobile apps like ZipRecruiter.

In my opinion they are the best job search and posting website, but they charge more than some nonprofits like us can afford. It's easy to use and yields results, but very expensive. However, our best new employees have come from Indeed, because people who use Indeed know what they want in a career and are ready to get to work.
We had the best applicants from Indeed. If someone is serious and dedicated to finding the right job and career, they will spend the time and money to apply and post resumes. This weeds out applicants who are not very serious or professional. The specificity of profiles and areas of interest helps us find candidates with the right credentials and experience.
It is extremely costly, especially to a startup business. As a nonprofit working to end homelessness for adults living with severe mental illnesses, I thought that a giant corporation like Indeed would be interested in helping with taxes or offering a little support.

Overall, my experience with Indeed has been great. I use them for 70% of all my hires. It's the largest job posting site in the world so why wouldn't I use it. It's pretty easy to use and the features are getting better and better. Indeed is a must have for anyone who is looking for new hires. You can try out other sites but you will inevitably come back to Indeed.
To start, Indeed is the largest job posting site in the world and most people use the platform when searching for a new job. This fact alone makes Indeed a must have when searching for new hires. Also, Indeed is very user friendly. This means that I don't have to micro manage the job postings. I can hand it over to my assistant and I don't have to worry about it. I also really like their analytics. It really helps me to optimize my postings so I can find the talent that I need. A feature that I really like is having applicants answer certain qualifying questions. This really speeds up the hiring process.
There isn't much that I don't like about Indeed but one thing that I must say is that I'm not a fan of the pay-per-click model for ads. With this model I have to pay for a lot of clicks that are irrelevant. If I post a job that looks enticing, I will get a lot of clicks from people who are just curious about the job and not serious about applying. One other thing would be the customer service. I wouldn't say that it's bad but it's not great. I've had issues with my Client Success Manager that has made things more difficult than they need be. This has been exacerbated since COVID-19. I'm hoping once things start to get back to normal I will get some more attention from my account manager and fix the issues that I'm having.

I love using the site. It's easy to use, simple to navigate, not hard to use at all. I love the extra details it gives me when it lets me know if a job listing is hiring multiple candidates or just one and if they're urgently hiring or not. I also love that I can quickly apply to jobs, and it lets me know if I have all the skills for a position or if I'm missing a few qualifications so overall I love the site.
I love how they implemented a new way of adding to your resume. I love how I can pick all of the skills I have to add to my experience with the click of a button. I don't have to use specific words when searching for jobs. I love how they have job fairs, hiring events, apply today start tomorrow job postings. Some employers like staffing agencies even leave a direct number to contact them which I also love and it tells me the employers response rate to applicants and how many people applied to the position which is a first for a job search engine. Huge plus! I love that it tells me if the job is seasonal/temp or full/part time. I love how they send off my completed tests from the companies that recommend a test after application submission.
The resume builder is a hassle at first but understandable why it's extensive. I don't like how they have way too many listings for minimum wage and it sometimes shows me job listings in other areas/states that are nowhere near me and some job postings are scams. I think their job postings that have no ratings should be vetted on legitimacy a bit more as well just to lessen the risk of getting scammed. I hate taking the tests after submitting an application

My overall experience is excellent as an employer as well as a candidate. It has been saving me time in sorting through potential candidates. Indeed is the best platform for recruiters.
I got my second job after college placement through indeed. I have been using Indeed Hiring for years regularly. Indeed is the best platform to source the candidates as per the requirement. It has the largest talent pool. I was able to message job seekers who have opted to make their profiles public. If they meet the job requirement, then I can message them directly. Indeed is a well-known name for recruitment and is easy to navigate. Its UI is user-friendly. The job posting is effortless and free of cost. We can opt to sponsor our job as per the requirement. It has a wide variety of tools to screen the candidate. We can hire candidates of all backgrounds for all sorts of jobs, from technician to director levels. Indeed work on a pay-per-click model.
As we know, every technology has its pros and cons. I have been using Indeed for years. I have used Indeed as a candidate as well as an employer. As an employer, I am not a big fan of the pay-per-click model on which Indeed works. I have to pay for lots of clicks that are irrelevant. Most of the candidates are curious to know about the job rather than applying. It provides indeed mail rather than actual...

Overall I have enjoyed Indeed but I still feel as though applications I have submitted were stuck in limbo. Indeed is usually my last option behind Linkedin and ZipRecruiter. The interface is very user friendly, so it is very easy for me to scroll through current job openings with ease. I would recommend this to someone who is very open about what jobs he/she wants and not so much stuck on one specific field. Also I think it is great for those who want a job but not sure what job as Indeed is great with showing a variety of different job postings within your area.
Indeed's website functionality is one of my favorite aspects that this software has to offer. Everything you need to apply to the job(s) of your choosing is just one click away. I also love how recruiters can find you without you doing any of the leg work. I actually got one of my favorite jobs this way and all I had to do was have an updated resume on my account. The criteria you have to fill out to find what you are looking for is as easy as 1-2-3.
One of my biggest dislikes about Indeed is sometimes you have to be very specific with your keywords or the website will pretty much show you every job within a 25 mile radius that has absolutely nothing to do with the choice of keywords you have supplies. For example if you type in "school secretary" Indeed will still show results that are similar such as "Dental office secretary" but not even in the ballpark of what you are looking for. Even if there is only one "school secretary" position located in my zip code and radius preference, I prefer that over continuously scrolling through secretary positions and never coming across what I am actually looking for.

I have a very small staff, which means they need to be reliable, hard-working and part of our "family". I think Indeed has helped me find that type of candidate who is interested in actually building a future with my company.
In a world full of job sites & recruiting software, Indeed stands alone in the amount of features they offer to get to know your candidates. The free assessments they offer are well written and provide unique perspective on job applicants - including the initiative on whether or not they are willing to go the extra mile to impress a hiring manager. There are multiple tools to schedule and complete the interviewing of candidates via email, phone or video, and several places to make internal notes and log times to know where you left off with that particular applicant. This is very useful, especially when you are contacting multiple candidates for multiple jobs all at the same time.
The only time it seems the most helpful is when you are paying to sponsor your job listing. The free utility is not as effective in attracting applicants. Also, while they ask you a series of questions about why you disqualified a particular applicant, it doesn't seem to do much to thwart future applicants based on this same criteria. I understand that you don't want a potentially good applicant to get weeded out by mistake using A.I., but it should be more intuitive about candidates who don't complete assessments, miss mandatory requirements or just fail to even upload their resume. I don't need to be bothered with someone who just provided their name & phone number for consideration for a job I have offered.

I think Indeed bought advertising on national media with a promise from the ad agency that said we will create a news story about a job shortage, so people will apply to everything. This works to brand Indeed as the go to source for applications, but it has not been a good hiring tool nor a good resource for finding work. Maybe it's because the algorithm is only set up for certain words, though I posted...
This software makes it easy to upload your resume and apply for jobs. It even offers to match you with jobs you qualify for. The sort and filter features are general, so any applicant has to wade through a ton of listings to find a match, and often the listings are duplicated, meaning you see the same ones on page after page, with new listings mixed in.
Because it's so easy to submit applications, employers are inundated with a ton of resumes. That doesn't bother me, but it makes it harder for them to respond to applicants, and creates a situation where it feels like the employer just doesn't care. I literally submitted over one hundred applications for jobs I'm qualified to do, and got one response. One. And that wasn't even an interview, that was just an email response that said thanks for applying.

Indeed.com is fit very well for HR Department to post for present place of employment openings. For organizations that have work sheets, cycle can be mechanized. Indeed.com has capacity to businesses to post positions at no charge, yet perceivability isn't ensured. So for certain organizations that require employ quick and are prepared to pay cash for that - make a point to pay immediately. Try not to utilize free postings, not that numerous candidates.
Indeed.com is the stage that we use to post for present place of employment openings. Just HR division approaches post positions, subsequently, it is utilized by one office in particular. It is not difficult to explore, and imaginative, their group attempts and consistently searches for better approaches to show occupations. In our association, we have one occupation board, and Indeed.com consequently pulls present place of employment advertisements from our profession entry. This is SO AWESOME. No compelling reason to refresh various stages. Strongly suggest it!!!
Pro's -Interaction mechanization -Ready to incorporate inquiries with decides that permit you to waitlist applicants in an all the more ideal style -Simple to utilize -Extraordinary format -Can post for nothing -They permit you to utilize a charge card for supporting -Supporting standards is acceptable and has numerous choices Con's -Missing usefulness - perhaps movement report, what number of snaps per position each week? -New position supporting stage can be confounding

It was okay, I am happy with the end result, it was the process of getting there that could have been simplified.
What I liked most about this was that I could send questions to the applicant and if they could not answer those questions, then they would not be considered as an applicant. For the role we were hiring for, it was imperative that each candidate met that criteria, we did not want to waste our time or theirs skimming through all those pointless applications. If you dont meet our needs, you are not considered.
The only thing I did not like and it was actually a BIG DISLIKE is that I was only able to send just one aptitude test - just one!!!! That was extremely frustrating considering we needed to thoroughly pre-screen before bringing people in to interview. Because of this, we wasted so much of our time with people coming in to interview who truly were not a credible candidate. Most would lie on their resumes,...

My overall experience with Indeed has been positive. I found my recent job using Indeed. I was contacted by the HR department at my new company via Indeed. She found my resume and contacted me about the option position. It was a very simple process.
Indeed is a such a wonderful way to search for your next employment adventure. Whether your looking for just a job or a career you can find it with Indeed. With their east to use search option you only have to view positions suited to you and your experience and preferences. If your not so good at making a resume then no need to worry when your using Indeed because there is a way to make one with ease....
The one thing that I find to be the most inconvenient about Indeed is that you are not able to retake an assessment. I understand that it is most likely this way to avoid potential cheating and dishonesty but it is not fair for those who sometimes just don't test well. This also doesn't allow for someone to progress and get better. Someone may not at the time have much experience with something but could of taken a course or an internship to learn new job skills. When they took the assessment 6 months ago they didn't know as much as they do now but are not able to show off their new hard earned skills because they are not able to retest. You have to be careful not to fall for any of the scam job postings.

Overall, my experience with Indeed has been very positive. I am able to use their software to have focused searches for employment, while not being bombarded with scammers and underpaying positions. I can really appreciate that now given how wide the internet has become, and how much "fake news" and "fake jobs" are out there.
I have used Indeed countless times when I was searching for a job in my field. The ability to have a focused search on Indeed is one of the outstanding aspects of this software. Finding a job can be difficult, especially if you have a specialty and you aren't just looking for any old dish-washing job. What I like most about the software is that it focuses on quality jobs, it shows you where it is located,...
I do not have a huge amount of negatives. If there was a way to streamline putting in your information that would be a more helpful part of the software for me. I would also like to be able to see some background about the company directly on the website, that way I can judge for myself if they are good enough to apply to. Or maybe have people rate them or show the average pay? I am not sure, however more info to me is always best when applying for jobs. Even when I am looking for short part time work outside of my self employment I like to do this.

Overall it is a good experience with little improvements to be had in a few places. It's great as it has a big candidate/applicant pool, but this also means that the quality of applicants can sometimes be a little lower.
Indeed is great as a lot of candidates look for job roles on here. This usually leads to a high number applicants, giving recruiters a lot of choice to find the right candidate for the job. I also like that it is mostly free to use and that you have the option to sponsor certain adverts if needed or launch a more thought through campaign to attract the right candidates.
The interface is a little messy and seems very cluttered. The page also has a lot of glitches, often freezes or does not load properly (nothing to do with my bandwidth, I have checked this). I also dislike that certain adverts have to be sponsored. Often sponsored posts don't actually generate the most suitable candidates. As it is pay per click, it sometimes seems like the software just pushes the advert to as many candidates as possible which leads to sponsored adverts bringing in a lot more unqualified applicants than non-sponsored.

It has been good with Indeed because I got by First Job with the help of Indeed and this is the reason I have a soft corner for them.Sometimes I feel good when people come and talk about the good deeds or initiatives of Indeed ,or how indeed changes the life of millions of near and dear one's by helping them to get the right job.So this all matters for any employee who are working or employees who are looking for candidates to feel the position.I feel such organization should be appreciated who are contributing everyday towards mankind or make this world beautiful with a Job for every led to live his life with Pride.
What I like about the software is the Popularity it earned across the Globe about Job Opportunity. It is a unique website and very useful for individual or organization who look for New opportunity. One of the best thing about indeed is one can segregate opportunities by applying the appropriate filters to get the best result. No matter you are a organization who created positions as per their requirement or you are a individual who look for new opportunity as per your experience or background everyone would find it easily as per one's needs. It is a Platform where Organization and Opportunity Perform together for the best potential in a business.
What I least like about this software is the un-interrupted call flows which sometimes makes me annoyed and may be this experience would be for all .So I think indeed need to find a mid option where such situation should be taken care of in a more organized way . Like Time frame should be adhered very strictly , best time frame to call , or expected date ,phone lines , correct person . This website got all such options but all it needs is to implement it in organized manner to be emerged as the leader in this business.

I have been using Indeed for a year now to find either a professional job/internship or part-time/student jobs. The platform is extremely easy and simple for everyone to use. It only took me a few minutes to register and start looking for a job on the search engine. What I like most about Indeed is you do not necessarily have to add/send your documents (e.g., CV, Certificates) every time to different...
There are few things that I would like Indeed to improve. As a foreigner living in Germany I use the German version of the website which does not allow me to switch the language from the country's official language. Since there are many international people living in different countries, I believe that Indeed should give us options of languages to choose instead of forcing us to use the website in the language of the country that we are living in. What I also do not like so much about Indeed is it sometimes keeps showing a job offer too long. I have had some experiences in which I applied for a job and they replied to my submission saying that they have already hired someone for the position I was interested in.
