This could easily be called "Logic-fy" your holiday rental software management because that's what this has done for me in a few easy days of populating the data between the demands of a clunky system of spreadsheets, cashbooks and booking systems, that's about to change as soon as I've completed the Lodgify hosted site.

- A nice website that makes my hosts and I save fees - More integration of the different channels I use

Pros

- Very nice website for my vacation home, I get compliments from webdesign professionnals - Simple to use - Great customer support - Great value

Cons

I miss some features : - a mobile "owner app" - deposit management : the best would be to work like car rental companies : authorize the security deposit on the host's credit card (without collecting the money) and release the authorization after host's departure - More flexibility when recording hosts' payments : I would like to be able to change the amount paid when it differs from what was planned - Of course the increase ofbthe channel management capabilities

Pros

Full integration with Airbnb and easy configuration of rates and availability.

Cons

Overall its a great tool, my biggeat pain point, if you could call it that, is that it imports reservations from ical for sutes such as HomeWay as unavailable only instead of notating this as a reservation along with the name and ical source even if detailed information (i.e prices) are not available.

Skeptical at first...

Customer support has been very attentive and helpful. I was concerned about switching from my other reservation system, but Lodgify has "held my hand" and answered my questions in a very timely manner.

Pros

But with Lodgify, I can see at a glance which of my condos are available during any month. The calendar blocks out reserved dates without guest names on it.

Cons

Has no automatic housekeeping notifications.

Its not enough for a multi property management

My opinion is pay some more Euros per month and go with another Hotel management system

Pros

Easy to use, provides a free website and a domain (in case you don't have one), average price, multi account management.

Cons

The calendar lacks functionality its really outdated, you can't manage rooms of the same type, for example if ypu have 2 reservations for the same day same type of room you can't understand for which room exactly is", the prices they give you are VAT excluded so be ware, No App and the mobile version it's unusable as it takes too much time to load even on a good 3G connection, The channel manager doesn't have a lot of options as you get life modification only on Booking.com Airbnb synchronization is really bad no real time it updates in like 10 hours, almost no support, you write some email and a girl replies to you once in 24 hours.

The aspects I like most about using Lodgify is its user friendly interface and website management tools.

Cons

The aspect that I least like about this software is the inability to prevent bookings too far in the future. For instance, I would like to prevent instant bookings for more than 1 year in advance.

Easy to customise worksheet and reports. Reports well adapted for tax return needs: I just generate the report and forward to my accountant.

Cons

Also, it would be nice to be able to schedule repeated entries (i.e. monthly expenses for maintenance and service) and have them automatically inputed in the worksheet.

It is so nice to be able to set up automatic payment reminders, send rental agreements and canned emails automatically!

Cons

My only other complaint is that if you respond to an inquiry with a quote, the system automatically blocks the dates with a tentative booking.

Clunky at times, but overall very functional

I've been using the Lodgify platform a little over a year and it works quite well. The mobile sites have been a bit clunky, and sometimes when I'm on the website it will look buggy on the screen but the main functions of showing users the property, letting them book and pay by credit, Stripe integration that sends the money straight to my account, all great.

Pros

works great for taking reservations, allowing guests to pay, sends money straight to my account with Stripe integration.

Cons

loads slow and mobile is a little clunky

Single solution, very customizable, mobile and desktop works great, integration will all the big rental sites make it a breeze to keep tracking of bookings no matter where they originate.

I approached them for the channel management. Was reluctant to create a new website but it was a smooth transition.

Pros

It's especially designed for agencies and management companies that have individual properties in different locations, Ideal for companies that deal with rental vacations.

Cons

There is no minimum advance reservation which is difficult to program cleaning as anyone can book instantly for that day. However, I understand the company has already started a plan to change this.
